This is a list of United States interventions since 1945.

1940s

1950s

1960s

1970s

1980s

1990s

2000s

As well as these military interventions the United States also pursued and gained economic controls over many developing states. Some claim that the International Monetary Fund and World Bank assisted American foreign policy in this area. (If correct, this would also require implicit co-operation of other countries, as the US has only 18% of the IMF's voting rights. [14])
