Welcome. Please note that this page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.

Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that articles deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G5 or G11 be undeleted here.

Note that requests for undeletion are not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here.

Instructions for special cases

I submitted this for undeletion a couple of weeks ago, but it was archived before I received a response. The above image was deleted back in September due to "F6: Non-free media file with no non-free use rationale (TW)". I'm in a position at the software's owning company to provide such fair-use for screenshots of the tool, and I'd like a screenshot to exist on the page to improve its quality. Can this be undeleted or can I just upload another one without issue? 38.103.29.194 (talk) 17:19, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please look at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 22:20, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You can also upload a non free file, as long as it satisfies the WP:NFCC including that it is used. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:40, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for the direction. I'll follow those instructions and upload a new, appropriate image. B.cody.thompson (talk) 22:18, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Good well-written article only deleted because it was created by a banned user —UserNumber (talk) 18:42, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@UserNumber: I restored it. That article wasn't eligible for deletion by G5. It was created by a sockpuppet, but not in violation of any block or ban, as far as I can tell from the block log of the sockmaster. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:12, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Anachronist: Someone deleted it again. UserNumber (talk) 17:53, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It seems my assessment of the original WP:CSD#G5 deletion was incorrect; it did qualify. You would have to contact one of the deleting admins to request reconsideration, perhaps move the article to draft space so that it can be improved. If anyone makes a significant contribution to it, it would not be eligible for G5 deletion. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:21, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Anachronist: Can you give me the source of the page on my talk page? UserNumber (talk) 17:53, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@UserNumber: It might be better if you asked the deleting admin, DGG to userfy it for you, so you can work on improving it. ~Anachronist (talk) 21:41, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
From the contents I do not think there is any likelihood of notability. If you have references providing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources, not press releases or mere announcements it would be better to start over DGG ( talk ) 05:22, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

User:Bubblefett

my reason is that it states in the wikipedia guidelines that a user may put whatever they want in thier talkpage/homepage, bu it can not be mall intented, my page had a few illuminati mentions, but i was on my way to clean it up after deciding someone may bann me for it, when my page got flagged. And mypage specifically doent promote lluminati or its ideals or iffiliates, i dont praise it whatso ever, and my unhelpfull edits o cabildo counsel and others, i was already punished for majorly, and i learned. so it is in goodwill that i nicely ask that the wise wikipedia admin please correct the flagging of my page. i worke for 4 hours straight hours so please consider a lesser punishment. like a 5 day user page ban at MAX. I really just want to inform people like other wikipedia users, and when i get to my page ill remove all disrespectfull content. —Bubblefett (talk) 16:41, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Bubblefett:  Not done. Not one single sentence on that page was appropriate for Wikipedia. You may not use Wikipedia as a web host, a social media platform, a means to promote your off-Wiki activities, an outlet for editorial commentary, and a number of other things. It isn't your personal web space. See Wikipedia:User pages for guidance.
The page isn't protected in any way, and you are not blocked, so there is nothing preventing you from creating your page again from scratch. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:29, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@bubblefett: it doent matter its my page and that took a lot of work for the cript, i mean i needed it its nt a social media platform at all, i dont even have socia media, im 13, so im holding you responsible for my reconstruction of my page and it shall be held up by wikpedia law!!! at least give me suggestin on what to wirte about nuka-cola, and dont say dont put innpropriate things on it, give me real advice. im trying not to get mad at you DELETING all my work, and there were 4 innaprpriate MENTIONS of illuminati, im not praisinf it, just making a joke, and fun game cartoon characters are not "innapropriate for wikipedia" and they user bio is a place of FREE WRITING. it says in the rules, ther was no rasism, sexism, promogity, nudity,or any other sots of innapropriate behavior. so help me by giving e tips on how to make a wiki user page on nuka-cola, and i wont ever bother or do "inapropriate things" again. deal? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bubblefett (talkcontribs) 14:58, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Bubblefett: are you talking about the fictional beverage from Fallout 4? Normally we do not need detailed articles covering in-universe item descriptions. The place for that could be http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Nuka-Cola . To see an article that we do have like this see Duff Beer. A good place for you to write on the topic would be at Draft:Nuka-Cola. Remember this is a serious place, so it is not for jokes and entertainment. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:58, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@bubblefett:if a user wishes to find a certain item from a certain game, and hears that an element was in it, they may not know the name of the item, but may know its elements, so by using the vast Wikipedia website.com. they can acsess it, then find a link in the article, and find their misssing game item.etc. now im sure Wikipedia is serious, and if seriousness is your priority then check out another highly esteemed editor that has a ,"pun generator", or pictures of kittens saying, we see all you do. so im sure that if they are able to "inform the public" about silly things such as that, then i can do the same as well. all im asking is to have a link that goes to nuka-cola-quantum that reads, "you may be searching for, nuka-quantum". and you will never hear from me again, nor shall i bother you with oh so such "silly nonsense"(sarcasm included!) and my link can be all the way at the bottom. not even at the top.Irest my case, and dont try to pull Wikipedia law over my eyes, because you...will...lose....... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bubblefett (talkcontribs) 00:17, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Bubblefett: As stated before, your user page is not protected, and you are not blocked, so there is nothing preventing you from putting whatever you want on that page, within reason. If you want to add a link, put it in. ~Anachronist (talk) 00:44, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@bubblefett: well my page was DELETED AFTER 4 HOURS OF WORK AND SACRIFICE WENT INTO IT!!!! then i have to start again, all i want is a link put in there what is so wrong about.......ooohhhhhhhhh, i get it, if i put a game thing in it, it would not be fair to not put another one ino it and it would beome a junk article, got it, no i need help on how to put links in and to get barnstars, im ready to change my ways!!!1 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bubblefett (talkcontribs) 01:07, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:The Empire of History/16

I have already posted an earlier request on this page. I would like for the last revised versions of these pages to be sent to my personal e-mail address, as attached to this Wikipedia account. I intend to transfer these pages to fiction.wikia.com. A response would be greatly appreciated. —The Empire of History (talk) 02:51, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You don't have to ask twice, this is the right spot to ask. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:04, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I know that is is, but I would like for a response to my inquiry. I've waited for weeks now. --The Empire of History (talk) 03:18, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Your previous request was 1 day ago. Your request doesn't really have anything to do with improving the Wikipedia project. If someone can find the time to download all those pages and bundle them up into an email, it will happen, but please understand that this won't be a high priority for any admin. ~Anachronist (talk) 03:33, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
But I was told by another administrator that here would be the place I could ask. Moreover, I had made a much earlier request back in December, related to one of the pages, but it had not received any response. And the reason I would like the pages is because they are necessary for work on wikia.com. Why is a simple request like this a big deal? It's my content, I spent months on it, and it was deleted without warning. I just would like it back to take to a website appropriate for it. --The Empire of History (talk) 05:16, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, this is the place to ask. You're asking a favor of an admin. A favor that will consume probably a half hour of an admin's valuable time, and that time wouldn't be spent in a way that benefits the Wikipedia project. It isn't our fault that you chose to spend months of time on pages that weren't suitable for Wikipedia, in violation of WP:NOTWEBHOST (I looked at one of them, quite impressive I must say). Please be patient. All I've had time for this weekend is to check in for a few minutes now and then. I have a backlog of real-life work to do before Monday, and then I'm looking at a 18 hour workday ahead of me. When I take a break to do something here, I want my efforts to make a difference to the project. Believe me, if I have a block of time, I'm happy to help you, but if you need this urgently, I'm sorry but you have to wait. There are no deadlines on Wikipedia.
You might also try asking the deleting admin ESkog. ~Anachronist (talk) 06:18, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I did ask the deleting administrator, but he referred me to here in the first place! Why do people have to be so uncooperative? Finding time for other people's requests, all the requests listed below and above this one, but they won't for me!! And who cares if it benefits the Wikipedia project! This is a request that I made, and I thought the requests were supposed to be fulfilled in due and prompt order...But well, I can't control the behavior of other people who rip into me and denigrate me for everything that I do! I'm done with this request! GOODBYE! --The Empire of History (talk) 03:52, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rose Kerr (Chinese art)

Enter your reasoning here and then click the "Save page" button below —Nephets213 (talk) 03:52, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have made a number of amendments to the entry

1, references to published works by Rose Kerr have been cited , and explained

2. Disambiguation of the art historian from the founder of the Girl Guides, who has the same name

As this is the first time I have ever attempted to create a wikipedia page, I have found the process difficult to understand. Many of the comments received were expressed in very technical terms which again, was not easy for a layperson like myself

Draft:Identify Fusion

A draft was created as part of Articles For Creation in 2014, rejected on the grounds that the term is a neologism only used by one group of researchers, and moved to draft space, where it was eventually (Jan 2105) deleted as abandoned. Since then, the term has become more common and is used in a wider range of research. Wikipedia needs an article on this topic, and I would like to help the author improve this draft to be suitable for namespace. I kindly object to this article being deleted via PROD and amicably request the restoration of this article so that it may be improved. This article was a stub that relied too heavily on the company's website. However, this article could easily be improved with verifiable, objective information. A cursory Google search will show ample articles written about the topic. The page was initially made in serve of WikiProject Private Equity, the Private Equity WikiProject Task Force. This article was recently deleted through an expired PROD. The subject is worth inclusion in Wikipedia and I'd be happy to do the legwork to substantially improve the article from the stub and source it heavily. Deskera

Deskera Inc- Hi there, we noticed our company does not have a wikipedia page. A quick check of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Deskera_(2nd_nomination) showed us that in the past, we had one.

We are not sure what content was on the previous wikipedia page, or who was responsible for writing it. We're a totally new team based out of San Francisco and we'd like the opportunity to rewrite an objective article and submit it to wikipedia. Let us know what we can do. Thanks!

Pallavi Sud & Rebecca Neufeld

  • Hi! You stated that you're a new team out of San Francisco, but the deleted article looks like it was about a company in Singapore. Is this the same company and if it is, you need to state what your relation is to that company. One of the past issues with the page was that it appeared that the company had paid someone to create an article for them and this status was never disclosed, which is required by WP:COI guidelines. You've disclosed here that you work with the company, but we'd need a little clarification here.
Now if this is the Singapore company, we can't restore the article here but you can ask Jo-Jo Eumerus if they will send you a copy of the page. I would really recommend that you check in with the WP:TEAHOUSE for help constructing the page and honestly, I'd check there first before really moving forward with any page creation. Something to be careful about is that most companies don't pass WP:NCORP regardless of how successful they are - we actually have million and sometimes billion dollar companies that fail notability guidelines on here because of the lack of non routine and non-PR coverage. New companies rarely get this type of coverage. The Teahouse would be great at helping with this. I would also recommend making any potential article through WP:AfC. @Lynnanchio: No explanation? The discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/International Artists Records isn't sufficient? You had ample opportunity to participate there. The notice was on the article for at least a week.
Furthermore, it seems that you haven't read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Do so now, because you clearly have a conflict of interest here. Be aware that you should not make substantive changes to any article with which you have a conflict of interest. You should propose your changes on the talk page instead. Daniel J. Arbess (2)

|1= Daniel J. Arbess |2= I didn't create the page, but I would often use it when searching for some of Mr. Arbess' articles and would refer people to the page. He is an investor/commentator with interesting viewpoints and is often on tv. It would be very helpful if you would restore the page. Thank you.

Woven Words Publishers (OPC) Private Limited

This was the first article I wrote and I see it was deleted by someone but I would request the administrator not to delete it because it was not meant for any promotion or advertisement. Where it costs a lot to self publish books, they publish books for free and according to some local body they are about to open libraries where people can read books for free. There are similar pages that exist on wikipedia. The reference link that takes to an article published by The FreePress Journal newspaper Mumbai edition proves the authenticity of the publishing house. Hoping to hear from you soon. —Aqeeq Ahmed (talk) 06:06, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
