The aftershave whose color inspired the cocktail's name

An Aqua Velva is a cocktail made with vodka, gin, lemon-lime, and Blue Curaçao; the latter gives the drink the color of Ice Blue Aqua Velva, its namesake,[1] which when introduced was touted as the aftershave that "gives your skin a drink."[2]

In the 2007 film Zodiac the cocktail is depicted as Robert Graysmith's favored drink.[3]
