Kedar Nath Singh is an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Singh is a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council from the Varanasi Division Graduates Constituency in Varanasi district.[1][2][3]Babu kedar Nath singh ,a popular Loksabha MP,elected from sultanpur ,after by-election, during congress party symbol conflict.Again elected in 1971 on Indira congress ticket from sultanpur district, remained MP and member of union cabinet of Indira Gandhi.In 1984 again elected Loksabha MP from Hapur constituency and remained All India Congress general secretary.Elected Rajya sabha MP for six years.Founder of numerous educational institutions and worked for annihilation of educational backwardness in sultanpur and neighbouring districts.He compared his feat against academic backwardness with the 1957 battle of independence.
