Death or murder?
[edit]I moved this to "death of" instead of "murder of" since the guy who did it wasn't convicted of murdering him but pleaded guilty to killing him. But I'm not clear what happened. It's clear he deliberately rammed him but I'm not sure if he intended to kill him. I see it described both ways. Clearly guy is a total loser who murdered him regardless of his intentions, but still WP:BLPCRIME applies. It says he pleaded guilty but also says he was convicted, so I'm very confused. If you plead guilty in England, do you still get a jury verdict? During sentencing, the judge told him "You deliberately directed unlawful violence towards a police officer" so it seems he was intentionally describing it under a different legal term.[23][24] —МандичкаYO 😜 14:13, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
- The BBC article says he pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving, but not guilty of murder. He was tried & convicted of murder. Jim Michael (talk) 12:02, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
