Turkish-Lebanese relations
[edit]When removing a prod you have to either have corrected the problem, or explain why you find the prod inappropriate. Since you've done nothing to correct the problem, why do you feel the prod doesn't apply? Ironholds (talk) 18:35, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- You have again removed a prod without an explanation. I am nominating the articles for deletion under WP:AFD. Ironholds (talk) 18:45, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of "best rapper alive"
[edit]Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. [edit]I've checked out your recent contributions and have had to reverse some. I think it might be beneficial for you to read up on Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy as well. --Leodmacleod (talk) 06:00, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello, Colchester121891! I have reverted this edit to the article, as the source given is not only not acceptable, but does not support the claim of progressive rock. I notice that you had made the same edit less than a month ago, and the explanation as to why this is not acceptable according to WP:RS was explained to you. Waiting weeks or months between re-insertion of the same contested material is not advisable. If you have a reliable source that backs up your claim, by all means utilize it. Please refrain from inserting the same unsourced material for a third time. Thank you, and Happy Editing! Doc9871 (talk) 21:16, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Phil Collins, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [edit]Greetings Colchester121891 - thanks for your edits to articles on drummers. Trouble is that the link you are providing as a reference is that of a blog, and as such is not a reliable enough source for Wikipedia. I used it myself once, and had to undo. Sources
[edit]I came here to discuss your use of sources in articles and found warnings going back to January regarding your use of sources. Not seeing where you've answered on your talk page I looked at your contributions and it appears that you've never posted to any talk page. Seriously, this cannot continue. I see a lot of gnomish work in your contributions and would like to see more of the same positive effort, but if you continue adding non-reliable sources or misquoting information it could lead to problems for you. Many editors have offered you their advice and their help; do yourself a favor and take them up on it. Please take more care in your work and avoid citing sources until you've acquainted yourself with WP:Reliable sources. Regards Tiderolls 21:41, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. [edit]Regarding your edit at Faran Tahir, please do not add religious, ethnic, or descent categories to biography articles without first ensuring that 1) the category is supported by sourced article content and 2) the individual identifies as such. The article Christine Rousselle has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of Christine Rousselle
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Christine Rousselle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
