It would appear that you created a hoax wikipedia page at 2011 Samsung Championships Cup. Why? It is in the process of being deleted. While this may have seemed fun it has now called into question every page you have ever edited on wikipedia. I would suggest you go back and remove any dubious edits from the past before someone checks them (which they will) and finds another purposely incorrect error. A warning can be given to each occurrence with a block happening if too many are found. Please do your best in the future to keep your edits truthful for the betterment of wikipedia. Thanks. The article Noline Mẽŕaqövā has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

no references

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Tbennert (talk) 04:30, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I left a message on the article's talk page as the page appears to be a hoax though the evidence was not strong enough for WP:CSD#G3. As the article, and its talk page, will likely be deleted soon because of the PROD here is what I wrote on the talk page: I don't think there's a 1.07 meter tall pro tennis player that's not on any of the main tennis web sites.[1][2][3] --Marc Kupper|talk 18:35, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Further evidence this is a hoax - using the ITF player search at http://www.itftennis.com/womens/players/index.asp
  • A search for a player named Mẽ% gets zero hits.
  • A search for a player named Me% gets 219 hits. In that list there is no player with ", No" (searching for the first name). I also checked for "lin" and while that pulled up a number of names none of them were similar to Noline Mẽŕaqövā.
  • A search for all players in Montenegro returns 11 records. Many have birth dates in the 199s implying Noline's 10 May 1992 should have been included. None of the 11 player names listed are similar to Noline Mẽŕaqövā.
It appears this editor is including either hoax articles, or completely unverifiable articles, among good edits. For example, he/she created 2011 Dow Corning Tennis Classic and that I verified as essentially correct and added a ref to the ITF web site for this. I did not double-check the full list of player names. Related to this are 2011 Dow Corning Tennis Classic – Singles and 2011 Dow Corning Tennis Classic – Doubles which I did not verify. --Marc Kupper|talk 21:33, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Olga Kalyuzhnaya requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ThePCKid (talk) 05:44, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Olga Kalyuzhnaya

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Olga Kalyuzhnaya, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion notice, which will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 06:13, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When you make a link, please always check that it goes where you expect it to go. ITF leads to a disambiguation page: I assume that you want International Tennis Federation rather than any of the others (TaeKwondo, Iraqi Turkmen Front, etc), but as the editor it is your job to get it right - you know what you mean, so it's easier for you than for someone coming along later. Please check your links to save everyone's time. Thanks, and Happy Editing! PamD (talk) 19:21, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, 2005 Hyderabad Open

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, 2005 Hyderabad Open. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Hyderabad Open 2005. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Hyderabad Open 2005 - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Mephtalk 08:11, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicating articles

[edit]

Recently, you created 2005 Hyderabad Open despite the existence of an article already covering the same subject: Hyderabad Open 2005. If involved in a dispute over content, please consider discussing it on the relevant talk page. Creating duplicates is an inappropriate response to dispute resolution. Thanks. Mephtalk 08:16, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Hyderabad Open 2005, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at 2005 Hyderabad Open Hyderabad Open 2005, you may be blocked from editing. Mr. Stradivarius 09:45, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To clarify, I'm not really sure what you have against the page being titled 2005 Hyderabad Open Hyderabad Open 2005, but you should discuss it on the talk page rather than simply blanking all the content, and you should really provide a reason for the change. (You might be interested in reading WP:RM for renaming pages that are likely to be disputed.) If you have any questions, feel free to ask me here. All the best. Comment - the above comments should be about the Hyderabad Open 2005 article. The article 2005 Hyderabad Open was a competing version that Saihimesh created. --Marc Kupper|talk 23:56, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Whitney Jones requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I urge you to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:NTENNIS, which identifies how we determine whether a tennis player should have an article. While there may be rare examples of players who do not meet any of these criteria, and still qualify as notable, if they do not meet any of these criteria, you'll have to be prepared to justify why they are an exception.

You are going to a fair amount of effort creating a number of articles that are not appropriate for Wikipedia, and you are creating work for volunteers to delete these articles. If you would like to discuss the criteria for inclusion, let me know, and I'll help you find the right place for the discussion.--SPhilbrickT 18:54, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'd also urge you to look at Referencing for beginners. Adding a link to a site with a bullet point is not an example of an acceptable reference. If you mean to add them as External links, that is fine, but it means many of the articles you have created do not have any references.--SPhilbrickT 19:25, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't re-add an article that was speedy deleted without adding information that would make her notable. She fails the conditions of WP:NTENNIS in that she never won a $25,000 title or above. Bgwhite (talk) 07:21, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Whitney Jones, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Stop creating player articles

Please stop creating player articles in the manner you are currently doing them. Please follow Wikipedia:WikiProject Tennis/Article Guidelines on how to create a tennis player article. Saying a player has won "many" ITF when they have won one or two is misleading. Plus saying absolutely nothing about a player is a great disservice as it says nothing about the player. Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Sofia Sabljarević, to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. You have created 4 pages now in the last couple days that have had to be deleted because of biographies that are not notable. You have been warned by multiple users and the pages in question have shown up on your talk page. It looks like most of your photos have also been removed. Do you realize you will lose your page creation and editing ability if you continue this course? Please read the "Wikipedia:WikiProject Tennis/Article Guidelines" before you do anything tennis related here on wikipedia. Fyunck(click) (talk) 02:33, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Partial retraction. It Appears that Taylor Townsend and Jessica Pegula were just given wildcards into the doubles at the US Open. That certainly qualifies them for inclusion. This was not noted on the atp or itf sites. In the future would you please note their notoriety qualification when creating an article? Thanks and sorry. You created Nirupama Sanjeev by means of a copy&paste. This was wrong. You should have moved Nirupama Vaidyanathan to Nirupama Sanjeev. File permission problems

[edit]

You have uploaded File:Hamari.Devrani.Hindi.Soap.Opera.Star.Plus.Channel.India.abc123.jpg, File:201210042904logo.jpg, File:Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon .jpg, File:Navya.StarPlus.png which appear to be from http://starplus.startv.in/ . I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Danger (talk) 05:53, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Intertitle of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Intertitle of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aaron Booth (talk) 03:45, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
