Meinong District

Meinong District (WG: Meinung, Hakka: 瀰濃 Minung, Japanese: 美濃, Mino, Chinese character: 美濃) is a famous Hakka district in Kaohsiung, Republic of China (Taiwan). The area has grown tobacco since 1630 [1] and is renowned nationwide for its oil-paper umbrellas.[2]
