Tundla (Hindi: टून्डला) is a town and a municipal board in Firozabad district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Tundla is located at 27.2° N 78.28° E[1]. It has an average elevation of 168 metres (551 feet). Tundla is 24 km away from the city of Taj Mahal, Agra. Tundla has a rich heritage of British rule, high walled British constructions, huge barracks, a Catholic church built in 1887, kothis [Bungalows] of officers surrounded by sprawling lawns, displays Tundla as the main center of British Administration during there regime and world war I, II. It is a small town with rich culture and is enriched with old and beautiful British buildings which are now converted into railway quarters.Today it is a bustling town with markets and temples all over it.
Tundla has one of the oldest church in northern India. Famously Known as Church of the Holy Family (disambiguation)|Holy family Church. This church is taken care by the Samuels. They are one of the oldest families in this town.
Tundla has produced several eminent personalities in the recent years, including Bollywood actor Raj Babbar; noted thinker, journalist and TV commentator Narendra Taneja - who is also the author of popular book Mantras For A Golden India ( www.mantrasforagoldenindia.com ); mathematician Dr B L Sharma;Mr M.P.Singh; Human Right activist and Advocate for Supreme Court of India Jetendra Singh; Mr. B Saraswat former Principal Surveyor of Lloyd's Register Asia, former secretary of Marine Engineer Association of India presently working as First Indian Independent Consultant at American society of Mechanical Engineer (ASME), Dr Taposh Ghoshal, a nationally acclaimed marketing management specialist, current holding a senior position in Steel Authority of India Limited and Mr. Jayant Singh Tomar.

Tundla is situated on NH2 which connects it to nearest major city of Agra, 24 km away, 17 km away from District Firozabad and 5 km away from Etmadpur.Tundla is a major railway junction in North Central Railway zone.Numerous trains ply from capital city New Delhi which is 210 km away.

As of 2001 India census [GR|India], Tundla had a population of 40,336. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Tundla has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 66%. In Tundla, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Colonel Tundrox & Civil engineer Raphael C of East India railway built a challenging railway track midst of a jungle surrounded by crocodiles, panthers, Leopards surpassing Jamuna river in next 26 km, earlier he planned to cross yamuna 11 km ahead ( presently anwara) and go parallel to yamuna till Taj.

- The Adinath Digamber Jain temple is one of the biggest and since being located very close to the national highway is a prominent landmark of Tundla.
- Niyamatpur, a village 18km away from Tundla having way from National Highway-2 said to be the village of the royal family of Alwar princely state of Rajasthan. Royal family of Alwar can be found here.
