The Apple A4 is a system-on-a-chip (SoC) designed by Apple and first used in the iPad tablet computer.[1] The first version released runs at 1 GHz and has an integrated graphics processor (GPU).[1][2] It was announced on January 27, 2010, during Apple's "Latest Creation" event.[1]
