==Significant Events==
December 11, 2010 Grand Rapids, Michigan had no idea it was going to be part of history in the making. At approximately 1930 local time, a Boeing 737-200 was docked at gate B3. On a ground hold to O'Hare for nearly three hours, the crew realized that their 16,000 pounds of fuel might be insufficient for their trek back home. It was a big choice that nobody else in history had ever concieved, for the safety of the passengers and crew aboard, it was decided that an uplift of fuel would be required. Already this was thought to be radical thinking, but these liberal pilots didn't stop there. They wanted to get to Chicago and they wanted to get there fast. With not a minute to spare, 20 to be exact, they called the two best fuelers that had ever handled a single point. Today would be the day of the first ever Sky King uplift...QUICK TURN! These two fuelers shall remain nameless. As much as the public thrives to meet these heroic men, for their safety from the mass poporatzi and the sake of the fueling profession, it's best to mask the details.

With EDICT quickly approaching, the men pulled up to the aircraft and sprung into action. One began to climb what seemed an endless ladder whilst the other retrieved critical information from the flight crew. After heated debates in the cockpit, one fueler finally obtained the critical information needed to finish the procedure. With that information and hookup complete, fueling commenced. 691 gallons later, Sky King had recieved its desperately needed fuel and the procedure was complete. The fuelers disconnected and after a signature on their fuel slip, they were on their way...mission complete. The plane took off safely and the day was saved. Nobody really knows whatever became of those fuelers. Legend has it that their connections with the Gerald R Ford International Airport remain intact, yet there is no clear evidence who these brave souls are and whether they continue their valient efforts today...
