Athletic Training

  • Skill Development - Sport specific skill development. Ie batting accuracy, seeing the ball into your hands for football, arc shooting for basketball.
  • Performance Training - Speed, agility, quickness, strength all used as fundamentals in any sport. Training for sports this way is a huge trend.
  • Mental Performance Training - Ways to your use your mind to improve in your sport and overcome performance anxiety.

American football

  • drop pass
  • line pass
  • Bills-Patriots rivalry - SAME as above
  • Bills-Jets rivalry - SAME as above; AFC East rivalries should have there own, individual articles; there are already a few done, just none with the Bills
  • BCS statistics - the articles on the BCS are well done but have no statistics and don't point to any. For example, from how far down the list has a team risen to be #1 at season's end? Or, how far has a team ranked #1 at the beginning of the season fallen by the end?
  • Tom Lemming - Controversial College Football Recruiting Guru who has been accused of improperly directing recruits to go to favored schools
  • List of NFL highest-scoring games
  • Winningest Coach-QB Combination - NFL Coach-QB combinations with most regular season wins

  • Template:Positions - Or similar. The abbreviations of the positions e.g. in 2010 FIFA World Cup Group C is competely obscure to non-football fanatics, especially those who are not native English. I could just decipher GK=Goalkeeper, RB, CB, LB = right, central, left back. But where RM, CM, LM (I guess Right, center, left midfield) is different than MF. What a CF is (center front?) and where that might be different from FW (=forward??) or RW, LW (Right, left forward, or right left wing?) is rather uclear to me. I have truly no idea whatsoever SS and neither does Wikipedia if you follow the Wikilink. It would be extremely helpful for the readers to have a template on the bottom of such pages giving at least the full text of the abbreviations, preferably with a wikilink to the relevant article. Alternatively, make it a task for your project to provide links to the Association_football_positions page, to help the unwary visitor finding out what these mean. • Southern Junior Floodlit Cup - youth competition in England won by Arsenal,Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa ect* Louie Edwards (Association Football Executive)
