1968 Yenko
Hello. I noticed you undid my edits in the Yenko Camaro section. I just wanted to let you know that I own an actual 1968 Yenko Camaro and have been involved in the Camaro hobby for over 30 years. I also own a classic car dealership. I just wrote an article about 68 Yenko Camaro's in an upcoming book. There were several factual errors in the 1968 section that have bothered me for a while and I corrected them. Also, the picture was of a clone car and not even an original Yenko. The 68 pictured is an award winning REAL car. I assure you that I have only made this section factual and take these cars very seriously. It would be in the best interest of Wiki to have my help. Thank you for looking out. Dana
If you have a moment, could I get your opinion on the original block on these accounts? (The account blocks, not the ip block you just made) Those blocks seem a bit excessive to me based on the discussion on User talk:Taokaka, and I'd like a third opinion, if you don't mind. Spatial-Visualization article is a false page
The page spatial visualization is a misleading article because the page itself is talking about mental rotation NOT the actual definition of "spatial-visualization". There is already a page for mental rotation. This misleading page defines spatial visualization inaccurately with that of mental rotation even though spatial visualization is defined as being able to imagine space and objects from different perspectives while mental rotation is the mental ability to mentally manipulate 2D-3D objects. It needs serious fix. It also conflates and state spatial-visualization as visual-spatial ability even though they are not synonymous since visual-spatial ability is actually the capacity in using one's visual senses to perceive spatial relations among objects and environment. Grossly misleading article. Help fix it. Shootingstar88 (talk) 11:13, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
- I'd agree, but I have too little knowledge and interest in spatial visualization to help fixing it, sorry. Materialscientist (talk) 11:20, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for rolling back the IPs and accounts that keep trashing my talk page. Like this edit - Oh man! He got me a good one! Whew, don't know how I'm gonna recover from that burn. Might need a shoulder to cry on. Can I borrow yours? ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:57, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
SPI
In this SPI you blocked both accounts. Unless I am missing something, this looks like a new editor not familiar with our rules. Indef-blocking all socks (well, there was only 1 sock and one puppeteer) and sternly reminding him to only use one account (with the usual exceptions) would be more welcoming, along with a stern caution or short-term block for his two disparaging edits ([1], [2]) that would've earned him a stern warning or short block even if he hadn't used multiple accounts.
On the other hand, if there is non-public knowledge or if he "smells" like there is more to it, then indef-blocking both might be the right thing to do. But blocking both when neither has many edits and the edits aren't in and of themselves block-worthy sticks out like a sore thumb. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 05:02, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
- Xe made these edits [3] [4] on a hot topic, and hid one of them by a rapid typo from another account [5]. This is a very typical behavior of an experienced vandal rather than a newbie, hence indef blocks with no AGF. Materialscientist (talk) 05:12, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
Oh, my bad
Sorry about that. I reverted Jenny Morris (chef) to a point before that IP started test editing/vandalizing. I accidentally reverted one of your edits in the process. Again, my apologies. Boomer Vial (talk) 08:36, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

Could you please fix it or do I have to re edit again.

IP-hopping edit warrior at Zedd (musician)
Hi! So, I've got an IPv6 IP-hopper at Zedd (musician) that is edit warring to remove a "circa." birthdate, despite the fact that it's sourced – Any idea on what I should do here? The IP-hopping rules out a WP:ANEW filing, and I'm not sure the disruption warrants WP:RfPP. On my end, I'm pretty much up against my 3-revert limit here... Thanks in advance! --IJBall (contribs • talk) 06:49, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
A hasty revert without taking any time to look at why the photo was added. --— J.S.talk 10:54, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Don't understand your comment "unsourced". The statement added to the article has a reference - Karsten et al. 2009. And the figure was meant to illustrate the specific behavior of the species. What's wrong with a variety of pictures, given that individual creatures look so different? --— J.S.talk 23:24, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- I agree, we tend to look at our own stuff with pink tinted glasses but having others submit photos I took is too time consuming, i.e. I wouldn't submit any pictures if this is the required procedure. It's also a regulation attempting to control a minute detail that will not be broadly understood by a majority of users. How many editing rules can an average Joe contributor to the Wikipedia remember? 10? How many are there in total? 100+? It feels like the Wikipedia rules and conventions are increasingly like the tax code. --— J.S.talk 23:43, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
I am asking for advice regarding some recent edits in this article. Yesterday, out of the blue, a user unrelated to the article began an edit war over a citation I have chosen for the introduction. Mine are changes belonging to a long-term revamping of the article-- an article that has been languishing for too long, suffering from vandalism and lack of orientation. I asked the user to move the discussion to the Talk Page, and after a final warning for reaching the 3Rs, he finally did, posting a question, which I think is reasonable. But just now, as I am preparing to answer it, I noticed what seems like an edit war rehearsal. Two others, also unrelated to the article's history (only one edit), have joined and one has again reverted my changes even when I have asked to direct the discussion to the Talk Page instead. Would appreciate your thoughts. Caballero//Historiador ☊ 18:24, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

Suspected block evasion
Hello. You blocked Parda Parda for 36h yesterday for "repeated addition of unsourced material", material that was also clearly promotional. He's now obviously back as 119.160.97.231 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log), 119.160.97.213 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) and 119.160.97.206 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log), making the exact same kind of unsourced/insufficiently sourced promotional edits on Huma Qureshi as Parda Parda made (just look at the edit summaries of the suspected master and the IP-socks, they're all pasting the entire section they've just edited into the edit summary field...). hi i just received your explanation. I am George Murdoch aka Brodus Clay and Tyrus assistant. We do not understand why George cannot add things he wants onto his page. How and what is a credible source for him being engaged and living in Mandeville, la?
His finance and him have actually fought over this subject, because he is telling her that he has added it to his wikipedia page through me his assistant, and yet its not there overtime we check.. please explain to me how to solve this problem and put the proper infomation to his page.
George Murdoch engaged to Ingrid Rinck owner of Fitcamp and Sensible Portions. They have a daughter named Georgie born May 7, 2014. He currently resides in Mandeville, la .
He also wanted his stand up comedy and Fox news appearances added to his page. thank you in advance for your help with this matter.

Reverting of Wikiwikiwikiwilliam's contributions to page "Raspberry Pi"
Independently I came to the same conclusion as you: Wikiwikiwikiwilliam's recent contributions to Raspberry Pi should be removed. Later I also saw your message on the talk page.

How can we create a page of famous actor who isn't yet on wikipedia
I think it is worth mentioning here to create a page of actress. Talkiemukesh (talk) 15:11, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
Kelly-Marie Stewart
Hi, you removed/changed my edits regarding Kelly-Marie Stewart (Actress).
As many news outlets have reported, she was recently wed to James Lovelady on August 30th 2015 in a lovely ceremony at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire and is now known as Kelly-Marie Lovelady, she has one daughter Daisie-Ann Lovelady
I am not overly sure how to edit the page and reference all of the above, every time I try to, you change the information...
Many news outlets reported on the story, if you google news for Kelly-Marie Stewart wedding or even just "kelly-marie stewart" you will find many articles (Daily Mail, Liverpool Echo, BBC News, OK Magazine, Now! Magazine, CNN, Daily Mirror plus others have all reported on the wedding as she "walked" down the isle).
Your assistance in updating this record will be greatly appreciated.

I am an employee of the Bondurant Racing School. We are trying to update Bob's photo with a more current one but it has been removed and won't let me re-upload it. Please let me know how to resolve this.

Hi-I noticed you were working on the Gary Flakne article. I found his obituary and added it to the article as a citation. The Minnesota Legislators Past and Present also listed his death. Using some images on The Signpost
I haven't yet written for the Wikipedia Signpost, and I'm aware you're not a writer, but as you are an admin I was wondering if you had any ideas on the image restrictions. I'm currently writing the WikiProject report for the Wikipedia Signpost.
Can I use the following images?
- File:Rémi Casty 2012.jpg
- File:Johnathan Thurston (25 June 2009, Cairns).jpg
- File:Headingley Carnegie.jpg
I assume I can use them as long as I don't link them to another page/no page, therefore when clicked they provide attribution?
Thanks. Leeds United FC fan (talk) 22:04, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

Infrastructure Canada edit by 69.158.15.216
Hey,
While that wasn't me (and I'll ask around the office who made the change,) the Denis Lebel is no longer a minister in Canada and Amarjeet Sohi is indeed the Minister of Infrastructure, albeit not also for the Regions of Quebec. This is reflected on both of their respective wikipedia pages. I've updated the article to return the edit and correctly omit the Regions of Quebec Ministry.
Out of curiosity, what flagged this change as vandalism to you?
An MP (talk) 22:13, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- You could see it in my edit summary "Reverted 1 edit by 69.158.15.216 identified as test/vandalism using STiki" - this means the edit by 69.158.15.216 fell into the queue of ClueBot NG (talk · contribs), which is picked up by WP:Stiki. Materialscientist (talk) 22:19, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
IP back after two-year block
Materialscientist, although I missed it when it happened, 72.215.153.56, who you blocked for two years on September 30, 2013, made this vandalizing edit about 34 hours ago. This isn't the first vandalism since the block ended, either; there was a series of four edits on November 16 and 17 that resulted in the article being protected, but no message on the IP's talk page.
I've put a "final warning" template on the IP's talk page, and will let you know if I should see any future vandalism. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:42, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

My recent contributions to Kaziranga Express has been undone
Hi,
Materialscientist I had done some contribution to the page Kaziranga express with my knowledge of Railways and few information was taken from Indian Railways which is accurate. I am disappointed that all my contribution to the page is undone. According to me the entire contribution from my side was 100% correct and also was constructive as the changes were similar to the page before editing. Totally disappointed with that undone process... totally
And yes made a mistake by rolling back my contribution.

What to do about a user who is using Wikipedia as a social network
Here we have an interesting case. I have been watching DerpMeep (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) for some time. They appear to be clearly WP:NOTHERE because it seems they are using Wikipedia as a social network.
The user:
- Has not made any contributions in article space
- Has made many contributions to pages in their own userspace that I would consider to be trolling (such as fake "New Message" notifications on their talk page, recursively redirecting their sandbox to itself, and adding a link on their own talk page to a collection of pornographic videos on Wikimedia Commons that read "certain page")
- Has created Template:My obsession which was moved and redirected to Talk:LOLOLOL "just to mess with with the person that cliked on the link..." and added many links to masturbation titled "interesting link [page?, I don't remember exactly]" to the aforementioned talk page. This was his only contribution outside userspace.
- Has used user talk pages to talk to other users about topics completely unrelated to Wikipedia and at one point attempted to contact an inactive user through their userpage (diff)
It is hard to determine his age, but based on the immature link trolling and the message added to the userpage above I would say he is probably a middle school or high school student and they do not seem to understand the purpose of Wikipedia. I have reminded them that Wikipedia is not a social network and he seems to have stopped with the social networking but he still has not made any useful contributions. I am in my eighty's and when I look at the instructions they are all a bit gobbledegook to me. I have tried to link to an article but it came up error even though I had actually entered the source. It would appear I have to do something before I enter the source and then again after I have entered the source. Hoping you can assist. Mr Maggoo

Changes Reverted
Hello Materialscientist,
You reverted back the changes I made just now on some pages like bronze, die casting, shielded metal arc welding as there were no citations provided by me.But I want you to consider the thing that all these articles dont have much reliable sources. And almost all these articles are written on the basis of one's own knowledge. Also the information I provided on all these pages are correct as far as I know and if you think I should provide some source, then I will manage to provide a few and you know that these types of articles don't have much available sources which to rely upon except the books written by some well-known authors. Dpshmrt (talk) 11:57, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
Just make up a "source" for it. I doubt that materialscientist would even notice, as he mainly just uses bots. Cheers, 1416domination (talk) 17:11, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

Hello. You replied to am edit that I made on the Jerry Lewis web page. I am sorry that I don't know much about Wikipedia and that my edit could in any way be called "Vandalism". My edit was in correction to the in accurate quoted words of Mr. Lewis. I am very angry that my correction was again altered! You can listen yourself here. Mr. Lewis "syrians" and my quotation is exactly what Mr. Lewis did say.
"ISIS has attacked the world. Refugee's should stay where the hell they are. Nobody has worked harder for the human condition that I have, but they are not part of the human condition if eleven of then thousand are ISIS. How can I take the chance. I don't want to loose another Frenchmen or Englishmen. That bothers me."
The quote that has been replaced and that is now on the Jerry Lewis page in not accurate as to what Mr. Lewis said in the interview. Please simply correct the record. You can't re-write history.
This is now what the page for Jerry Lewis says and it is not correct! ("Mr. Lewis commented on the Syrian refugee crisis in a December 2015 interview with Raymond Arroyo by saying "Refugees should stay where the hell they are" and that "[Syrians are] not part of the human condition".)
I hope you will see the difference and understand why I object to the quotation as they now stand on Mr. Lewis's page.
- (talk page stalker)Hey MaterialScientist, he's right. It certainly is not fair to tag the good-faith restoration of a full quote as 'vandalism'. The way you restored it to, the quote is lacking important relevant context. Pigkeeper (talk) 22:36, 10 January 2016 (UTC)

How to confirm a source.
Thanks for getting in touch with me about my Wiki page (Brian Connell (Author). I AM the Brian Connell in question, so the page is about me. I don't know how this is confirmed with Wikipedia, but obviously need to get it done so I don't have messages about confirmation or attribution. Please let me know the procedure for confirming my identity, as I, so far, haven't been able to discover the procedure myself. Thanks again. Looking forward to hearing from you.

HELP!!!
Hi. So I'm having a problem with another user and I don't know what to do about it. A user user:Artmanha. He repeatedly deleted anyones edits from The Shannara Chronicles page. When I was looking at his talk page I noticed there were "pros" warning him about edit wars and stuff. When I confronted him about it and threatened to report him he copied and pasted the exact same thing the others said to him on my page. Please help me as soon as possible. "Bug" in sfn template
Ah, you managed to correct the error at Botany before I did (edit clash as I went to save); the "bug" I was referring to in my edit summary was in the error message, which wrongly says that the template is "defined multiple times with different content". Let's see if we can get this fixed. Peter coxhead (talk) 11:41, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- Citation templates now require exact input. For example, the use of pp=739 (instead of p=739) would cause an "error". Materialscientist (talk) 11:58, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- It's not quite so simple. If you just use
|pp=739
once, it doesn't appear to cause an error. My concern is that using|p=
and|pp=
with the same single page number causes a misleading error message. Peter coxhead (talk) 14:08, 12 January 2016 (UTC)- Yes, what I meant was when someone uses pp=739 and p=739, the parser can not combine those sfn refs into one and shows an error - this is how the template was recoded (recently I guess). Debate in Puerto Rico
There is a debate in Puerto Rico that is tantamount to edit warring but in slow motion. See here, for example. It is about what most people would consider "technical" and insignificant, but in Puerto Rican politics, nothing of this nature is trivial. I plan to call those involved to talk in the article's Talk Page. But, honestly, I think we might need counsel from an expert. What do you think? What is the approach for things like this, when a gridlock might be sidestep with technical knowledge? In the world outside of WP, we often just call the experts. Thanks. big pun
Thank you.
Sadly Big Pun, passed away. But the change didn't show or changed it was blank. I was trying to add his children on his info box.
You removed my edit to entry for "Camaron de la Isla" due to lack of reference.
Perhaps you did not read this edit and just removed it out of habit. If you did, you would have noticed that it is self referencing, as it contains the EAN of the CD box set mentioned in the edit. Every CD is uniquely identified by its EAN.
The purpose of the edit is to show an interested reader, that they have an option of buying a full set of Camaron's works instead of chasing long out of print single CDs. This is useful practical information.
I quoted this EAN from the CD box set that I purchased recently.
What other reference can I provide without appearing to push some product?
Please think about it and do not bite newbies unnecessarily. They may just go away.
Your mail to me...
First off: I /did/ add a source to Ciara Hanna's page as well as to the one of Richard Harmon the first time, but it was removed and I didn't have the source the second time. But I do remember seeing a periscope Q&A from Harmon, where he answered one fans question if he was dating someone and he answered with (something along the lines of) "Yes, I am dating Ciara Hanna, and have been for a while now." Since you can't source a periscope, I couldn't add one the second time. Why it was removed the first time is still not clear to me.
Almquist shell
I had added the special value "empty" to the website parameter in the Infobox because otherwise it automatically acquires the link from the page. And as this external link is nothing official but only a self-published page from me, I believe it's not appropriate in the Infobox. Do you agree?
Unfortunately I hadn't noticed the special nature of this parameter until after the first edit (what a disgrace). --Smascheck (talk) 22:10, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Dr. Eugene Lipov
Hi, and thank you for your message. I have received the information from Dr. Eugene Lipov himself, can you please restore the page and perhaps you could add this as a source then?
EDIT: I have added source material and re-uploaded the edited page. If you have any more remarks about this, I would be more than happy to hear about them but can you work with me on keeping the new page as I'm doing this on request of the person the page is about?
EDIT 2: OK, I don't want to be a pain but can you please keep the edited page up and suggest to me what I can do to improve it, instead of reverting back to the old one? I have received all the info from Dr. Lipov himself in order to update it. I was also under the impression that the following rule applied: "Never use self-published books, zines, websites, webforums, blogs and tweets as a source for material about a living person, unless written or published by the subject of the biographical material.". Since Dr. Lipov is the author and publisher of this material, I would think that it suffices? If not, can you please non-destructively assist in improving the page? Thank you. Hi Material Scientist. I noticed that you blocked this IP recently for persistent addition of Unsourced content. I just wanted to let you know that this IP user works by some kind of policy which is "Anyone who contradicts my edits receives abuse". This is what he said on my talk page. I see you've edited the Dolly Parton article in the past so wanted to ask for you help with the errant "Comments" talk page. I would fix it myself but am always concerned I'll screw merges/moves up. - It's a test page?...oh. The problem is that Archiving hasn't been set up but there's an "Archive" box on "Talk:Dolly Parton" that leads to "Talk:Dolly Parton/Comments" which would seem to mess up actually archiving "Talk:Dolly Parton"... DYK favor that needs to be done as soon as possible, but definitely within an hour
Materialscientist, can you please swap the middle six hooks between Queue 6 and Queue 2, so the right hooks are promoted at midnight for Wikipedia's 15th birthday? It would be great if you could, as my previous attempts to arrange a swap went badly awry. I'm trying to make up for the fact that our original plans got off schedule while DYKUpdateBot was down.
Here is what needs to go where (check before you move, just in case someone gets there before you do):
- Queue 6 to Queue 2: hooks 2 through 7, currently Magical Pet, Sehedate Mekuli, 1941 football championship, Texas A&M–Commerce Lions women's volleyball, Nazhiah Mestaoui, and Daecheong Dam. (Hooks 1 and 8 stay where they are: porpoises, and the double hook with songs.)
- Queue 2 to Queue 6: hooks 2 through 7, currently Lena Durr (which was accidentally combined with hook 1 and will need to be separated), Officer's Choice, Frank Stähle, Pepe the frog, Max Deutsch, and Air Ambulance Center. (Hooks 1 and 8 stay where they are: Church of St. George Church the Exiler and Thilawa of Yamethin.)
I don't want to complicate things unduly, but I couldn't help but notice that the Queue 6 to Queue 2 set has two sports hooks in a row. Maybe move the volleyball team down one or two hooks to get it away from the football hook, but not so far as the quirky slot?
Thank you very much. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:55, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- Forgive me for starting to panic (I've seen you do other edits in the past 15 minutes, but not these); should I try Crisco 1492 again? (We have about 20 minutes before the bot makes the promotion.) I should also have included the reminder that the related DYKmake and DYKnom credit templates should also be swapped, though I expect you'd do it automatically. Thanks. You left me a message about a few small changes I made to his page. I inserted the scheduled number of rounds that some of his earlier fights were set for. Previously they just had ? marks there and you changed them back to ? marks. I have been watching old tape of his fights and filled in some of those ? marks with how many rounds the fights were scheduled for because I had just watched them and knew. The only other change I made was near the top of his page it said his 1st professional fight was against some guy from the Phillipines. It wasn't, it was against David Felix, his first 21 fights were against fellow Mexican fighters.
I don't mind that you changed it all back. I just won't make changes to Wikipedia pages anymore, even if I know i'm correct.173.81.75.235 (talk) 02:27, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Reposting here for Materialscientist. Is this a concern for the block which you have previously issued last week. Fountains-of-Paris (talk) 18:20, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- User:Mpear did get a block on one of these dynamically changing account for "2602" and "2601", but I am just now discovering that there may be some block evasion by that account in progress. I am hatting this since the list is quite long. Is this an issue? Fountains-of-Paris (talk) 17:50, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

- This is the link for your previous block request which was granted here [7]. It seems that "2602" and "2601" are doing this dynamic account change thing by changing the extensions on their prefix names almost each time they log in. The issued block you requested appears to be being ignored by block evasion. Is this a concern. Fountains-of-Paris (talk) 18:02, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure how I can help here - this is hardly socking (dynamic IPs may change without the editor's will; sometimes the editor willfully resets their router for that, but we can hardly tell the difference), and the ranges are too wide for a rangeblock. Semiprotection of articles is a standard tool when such edits are disruptive. Materialscientist (talk) 23:15, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
Vandalisation in multiple languages by B.Lameira
The user B.Lameira is changing "Parliamentary system" to "Semi-presidential system" on Tunisia on those related pages Parliamentary republic, Parliamentary system and Tunisia as well as on (File:Forms of government parliamentary.svg). Despite several demand to stop and a discussion on my talkpage, nothing seems to convince him to stop his behavior, could you please do something about it ? It already lead to a protection template on the french wikipedia.Fumehime (talk) 20:09, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Now can we do something
... about Stargrl? 🖖ATinySliver/ATalkPage 20:46, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
More specifically, since you blocked the editor on 2 July 2015, she (I'm assuming by the username) has:
- Added instagram as a source for peripheral data (4 July) and for dating gossip (8 July) to BLPs
- Continued this pattern in August and September, et al.
- Added unsourced data to a BLP (9 October)
- Added data about a nut allergy (!) to a BLP (3 December)
- Added unsourced data to a BLP (29 December, prompting a block warning)
- Added non-notable cheerleading data to a BLP (15 January)
- Added the nut allergy again (15 January)
When I brought this to ANI, the responding editor attempted to make me the bad guy, as if NOT and BLP are irrelevant.
There remains no evidence that this editor has ever read her talk page, or intends to treat Wikipedia as anything other than a fan site. The issue is that she will make a few edits and disappear, sometimes for weeks; any block shorter than three months may go completely unnoticed. 🖖ATinySliver/ATalkPage 22:05, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- Reblocked for 2 weeks. Materialscientist (talk) 22:50, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- Much obliged, though quite possibly too short to be noticed. OTOH, when (not if ) the behavior returns, a much longer block will be unquestionably justified. 🖖ATinySliver/ATalkPage 23:07, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
Your revert...
Hi MatSci,
I was just wondering, did you intend to mark this revert to Robert Irvine as good faith? Isn't it more or less true vandalism?
Regards, <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 22:50, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- WP:Stiki is a wonderful antivandalism tool, but it has its limitations (showing only part of the article, offering a limited choice for standard revert summaries, etc.). Seeing only a small part of the article I'm often unsure the edit is blatant vandalism. This leaves me two choices: type my own warning/edit summary from scratch, or leave the standard "Reverted XX good faith edit(s)", which is what you saw. Materialscientist (talk) 22:56, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
Your reversion
Hi, Materialscientist! Happy Friday! I'm messaging you to ask about the reversion you made on AIV - was there something wrong with my report? ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:33, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, I meant to revert your previous edit; yes, please read the green-squared notice at WP:AIV - you often report editors way too early for a block (one edit, for example). Materialscientist (talk) 00:36, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
Just started WIKI. Will read up on references and try again.
Block of IP
Please consider an indefinite block of 174.119.44.48 (talk · contribs). Various vandalism-only IPs, including this one, have been targeting articles related to West Hill Collegiate Institute. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 01:58, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
- IPs are reassigned, hence an indefinite block of an IP is almost always a mistake. Materialscientist (talk) 03:09, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Farid Simaika
Hi. I wonder why you deleted the change I made to the 'external link' section of Farid Simaika. All I did was to move the YouTube link a few lines up the same section ( to make the link more obvious to the reader). I was only making life easier to any reader. I did not add or delete anything. I just re-arranged the 'external link' section. Youssef simaika (talk) 08:22, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
- I meant to delete it, because youtube links are volatile, hence we avoid using them. Materialscientist (talk) 08:27, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Broadly did an extensive investigation that revealed these cases. Why are you stating this is an unreliable source?[1]. If you see the original source, you will find all relevant court documents and legal sources that are verifiable. What is the issue with these posts, other than the fact that some of this verifiable information is not laudatory?

Hi, um, apparently I got a message for my "contribution" to page and I'm quite confused. I feel that you got the wrong person. I don't edit wiki pages and even if I did, I wouldn't edit them in a language I don't speak (and it'd probably be a theology page haha cuz that's all I read). Just felt like I should put it here. Have a good day.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sakri, Kangra, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! You have un-done my edit. I added the middle name 'Keith' so that the wikipedia entry was corrected to read Richard Keith Coles as Richard told the world about his middle name on his BBC Radio 4 show 'Saturday Live' broadcast on 16 Jan 2016. If you want to check it out then listen to the show, or download the .mp3 podcast, at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06w53b8 ... you only have to listen until 2m57s on the broadcast version (I have not downloaded, and checked, the .mp3 version)
Hello There,
I was editing the Gouda Saraswath Brahmin page and the published works of this might be in another language (kannada). where do i need to provide this detail and how will you verify? will you be able to revert the edited content?
Regards, Arjun
Hello There,
I was editing the goud saraswat brahmin page and from what i understand is that you are looking at ref. ref for this material is available in a series of book called Srimad bhagwad. If you are a christian and to help you understand, the article is a quote / chapter out of bible. the ref are widely read in sanskrit, hindi and kannada. the only ref i could find in eng is in the link below.
