Incidentally, Beckhardt's photo was misidentified as Hermann Gilly, so I removed it from the Gilly article. However, as Gilly never flew a Siemens-Schuckert D.IIInor had a personal insignia of a swastika, it is obviously a (poor) photo of Beckhardt.

I hope you will post these, as I seem to be moderately hopeless at the task.

Your recent edits to Henrietta Lacks

The source uses all caps as its title conventions: 1997 Congressional Record remarks of Representative Ehrlich. With the ICTR reference (The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research), that source also uses all caps for its article's titles. In both cases, even though Wikipedia uses very specific (and different) title conventions, it would seem to me that the original title as it stands in the Congressional Record and at the ICTR website should be preserved within the references here on Wikipedia. (edit conflict) I don't disagree that it does look somewhat "shouty" but I think it is a good practice to try to be very scrupulous about preserving the exact nature of references' information, even down to the punctuation or grammar usage in "cite web" titles. Is there anything within the cite templates (like some sort coding "[sic]"...) that would designate the caps as being the way the title is written in the original? In my general Wikipedia editing I am very wary of altering anything about a reference, even the ALL CAPS of a newspaper headline or the title conventions that the Congressional Record uses. I think that part of our mandate as editors is to preserve the record of events as they happened, to preserve the historicity of contemporary sources. For instance, Ehrlich's 1979 remarks (or speech/insert into Congress' records) is the earliest mention about Henrietta Lacks from a high-level governmental official that I have seen - I think it is important to preserve them within Wikipedia's pages as they appear in the official US Government records. Template instructions

The documentation of a particular template applies to implementations of that template - it does not apply to instances of other templates. They are not broad guidelines, they're instructions regarding the specific template. You can't enforce the documentation of one template on articles using another. The field was copied from the person infobox, the discussion is there, no need to have same discussion at the 35 biographical infobox templates. You would need to get consensus that documentation on one template applies to different templates, because that is not current practice. See WP:TDOC. The documentation of {{infobox person}} applies only to {{infobox person}} according to our standard usage. The onus is on you to get consensus to do otherwise, and until you do you can't impose the documentation of {{infobox person}} on articles that use other templates. The WikiArte (Wiki Arte y Cultura Latinoamerica) edit-a-thon is a global campaign to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Latin American arts and culture and to counter geocultural systemic bias on Wikipedia.

Featuring an opening Artists' Panel at 10am, with Sol Aramendi, Sharon Lee De La Cruz, and Marisa Morán Jahn, to be moderated by Rocío Aranda-Alvarado, curator at El Museo del Barrio.

The Museum of Modern Art and Fundacion Cisneros/Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros are uniting with international allies to focus on the lives and works of Latin American artists, architects and designers. With keystone events scheduled for October 22 in New York City and other cities throughout the month (Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Caracas, & others), the campaign aims to further similar goals to Art+Feminism.

All are invited, with no specialized knowledge of the subject or Wikipedia editing experience required. Introductory training on the basics of Wikipedia editing will be given throughout the edit-a-thon. This is the same fight that led to Clinton just saying Yale University instead of Yale Law. You WPLDONTLIKEIT and are pretending this is a helpful for readers. If they need to click the link to find out this is just an endowed component of a university, it's not helpful. When I used to link these as [[Kellogg School of Management|Northwestern University]] it was argued that this was faulty under WP:EGG. Ordinary people know Northwestern, not Kellogg. I don't think this is much of a stretch to imagine. Why not just make it easier and link to Northwestern since it's still correct? Both fields for what is essentially the same info is overkill and sort of crufty, IMO. Not all college-level university divisions have specific articles, nor should there be an expectation for every en-experted casual reader to know to connect them together. Give the basic info in the infobox (university, degree) and let the article give the full info. For example, something like "Georgetown University (MA)" in the infobox and "She graduated with a Master of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in International Organizations from the (Edmund A.) Join us for a full Saturday of social Wikipedia editing at NY Academy of Sciences (drop-in any time!), during which we will create, update, and improve Wikipedia articles covering Women in science for their second annual edit-a-thon!.

This event also coincides with the year-long celebration of the Academy's 200th Anniversary and a Women in Red online campaign.

Saturday December 3: Contemporary Chinese Art Edit-a-thon @ Guggenheim

On Saturday December 3, 2016, in conjunction with a global campaign, the Guggenheim will host its fifth Wikipedia edit-a-thon—or, #guggathon—to enhance Wikipedia's coverage of modern and contemporary artists from Greater China. The event will cap off Wikipedia Asian Month, an online campaign dedicated to augmenting Asian content on Wikipedia throughout November.

New and experienced editors are welcome. The event will include a training session for participants who are new to Wikipedia, and Wikipedia specialists will be on hand to provide basic instruction and editing support. Editors are invited to view the exhibition Tales of Our Time following the event.

The Guggenheim aims to raise awareness of the artists featured in the Tales of Our Time exhibition supported by The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Chinese Art Initiative, and build on the model of campaigns like the Wikipedia Edit-a-thon at the Guggenheim: Women in Architecture, Wikipedia Edit-a-thon at the Guggenheim: Contemporary Art of the Middle East and North Africa, and Art+Feminism.

Pizzagate

Given the nature of the completely spurious accusations concerning this topic the safest and most BLP-compliant action is to leave the redirect in place rather than explain what's going on via a disambiguation, especially considering there aren't two articles to disambiguate at this time. I note that the Times and the Post have both reported on this but I think NOTNEWS applies for the time being, especially given the outlandish claims and the tendency for this to become a target for editors promoting the conspiracy theory, as the history shows. I also note that you're moving into edit-warring territory yourself, and you can't claim a BLP exemption if you keep re-creating the disambiguation. When you remove one entry, you give strength to conspiracy theorists who argue that you are covering it up. Readers should be directed to the article that says it has been debunked by reliable sources. A pizzeria is not a living person so not covered by BLP. - I have a lot of experience in dealing with conspiracy theories. I agree with you that where a conspiracy theory has endured for some time we should lay it out plainly. I'm not convinced that the same method applies for something so new and so scurrilous: instead of shining a light on it we're just abetting the defamation. I think the mention in the article is satisfactory, but I'm wary of arguing via a disambiguation, and I'm not convinced that the specific term has much significance outside of Reddit. I just went to the article on the pizza place after reading the WaPo article this morning. I don't think the presence or absence of a redirect as presently constituted is something I feel really strongly about, but I do care that the disambiguation not be misused as we've both noticed. I am an attorney/genealogist researching Mr Phipps' genealogy for a relative. Although many biographies list his birthplace as Amityville, Berks Co., PA, I believe they are incorrect. On several of his passport applications, Mr Phipps lists his birthplace as Amity, Washington Co., PA. His father was a pastor in Washinton Co. during that time and he has an infant sibling buried there. I can privide copies of the original passport applications.
