The untitled Lego film is an upcoming animated adventure comedy film produced by Lego System A/S, Rideback, Lord Miller Productions, and Vertigo Entertainment. Based on the Lego line of construction toys and a collaboration between production houses from the United States, Australia, and Denmark, it is intended to be the fifth installment in The Lego Movie franchise.
Development on a new film in the franchise was confirmed in August 2022, with producer Dan Lin stating that the creative team has "reinvented" the Lego world.
Production
On August 8, 2022, it was announced that a new Lego film is in development by producer Dan Lin. He promises that the creative team has "reinvented" the Lego world, and it was noted that it may feature different characters and aesthetics from the previous entries.[1] Aaron and Adam Nee were attached to direct by July 2023.[2]
