This census witnessed the forming of the Bosniak nation; although there are still people who declare themselves as Muslims by nationality. Also, there are very few people left who consider themselves Yugoslavs. But the biggest difference with 1991 census is the unparalleled increase in the number of Serbs, from over 50,000 to nearly 200,000. Others include small ethnic groups of perceived non-European/Slavic origins: Roma, Balkan Egyptians and Black Montenegrins.
