The California statewide special election is on May 19, 2009. Polling places open at 7:00am and close at 8:00pm on Election Day. There are six statewide propositions on the ballott (Proposition 1A, Proposition 1B, Proposition 1C, 1D, Proposition 1E, and Proposition 1F) and each county has various measures as well.
