L-765,314 is a drug which acts as a potent and selective antagonist for the alpha-1 adrenoreceptor subtype α_1B.^[1] It has mainly been used to investigate the role of α_1B receptors in the regulation of blood pressure,^[2]^[3] but the α_1B is also thought to have an important role in the brain.
