My apology

I am sorry for editing that page of the history of Barbados. Please forgive me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.82.208.231 (talk) 20:13, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

October 2015

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Bobherry Userspace Talk to me! Stuff I have done 20:52, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your idea

Some latitude is allowed as we are humans, not robots. For newbies, "Hi, I'm Bob" is a plausible first edit and we definitely don't want to WP:BITE them for that. For veteran editors, there's likely some minor chit-chat going on on their talk page or in the archives. As for warnings, they're not badges of shame. Any competent admin will check talk page history and most recent change patrollers will do the same. --NeilN talk to me 21:14, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How to deal with a content dispute

This is about your post to WP:AN. I was about to close that, but someone else got there first. Please read WP:BRD which explains how to deal with a disagreement about content: in brief, discuss it on the article talk page, and try to reach WP:Consensus. If you can't reach consensus, see WP:Dispute resolution. Admins have no special authority about content: the "drama-boards" WP:AN (or preferably WP:ANI for an individual incident rather than a policy question) are the last resort for intractable disputes, not the first place to go. Tonight Belongs to U

Exactly how is redirecting Tonight Belongs to U from Jeremih to Tonight Belongs to U! (the Jeremih song in question) unconstructive? - 37.157.50.235 (talk) 19:54, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tip

Thanks for your help reverting vandalism. I noticed you are manually warning vandals. Using WP:Twinkle makes this task much easier. You can enable/disable Twinkle in your Preferences under 'Gadgets'. Regards– Gilliam (talk) 19:54, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello CLCStudent

The question on the page of Van Halen is the overuse of scarce sources of cohesion in the use of musical genres from classic bands , I am a staunch enemy of sites as " allmusic.com " , " rollingstone " and the like, it looks like trainees 15 year-old , writing evaluations, employing a lot of duplicity , bad faith and spelling errors and analysis, as I wrote in another discussion page , there are more laborious and honest ways to make co -reports , speed is not quality! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.95.113.94 (talk) 21:04, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

pending changes reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Rollback

I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. – Gilliam (talk) 14:09, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again for your help. FYI, warning vandals might be easier using WP:TWINKLE - you can enable (or disable) it at your Preferences under 'Gadgets'.– Gilliam (talk) 00:24, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:28, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pending changes

Please don't ever accept pending changes that introduce unsourced personal information to biography articles as you did at Richard Wisker. It is these types of edits that pending changes was enabled to prevent. Thank you, --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:19, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

I was going through the recent changed in anatomy [1] and found some shady edits that needed reverting. I somehow missed that you had already done that, so sorry for accidentally reverting you. CFCF 💌 📧 18:18, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You could consider

putting something, anything, on your user page. This will change your signature, as well as the "User Page" tab at the top left of this page, from being a red link (which sort of stands for "dead end) into a blue link. This is a pretty standard move for editors who plan on staying around. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 18:46, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Uw-userspacenoindex

All pages in the user namespace are now NOINDEXed by default, though I am unable to find the discussion that implemented this change. What do you think should we do with this template? 103.6.159.86 (talk) 14:59, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tristan Nunez and Fire Suppression System

Hi. You wrote to me saying you had removed my changes on the articles Tristan Nunez and Fire Suppression System. There may be some confusion, as I have never edited either of those pages. Re: Quezon City Science High School

Hey,

I'm editing the page as it needs updating, and you just reverted everything without explanation. All the information I am supplying is valid. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.144.245.144 (talk) 18:38, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Quezon City Science High School

Why do you keep reverting it back to the original? The information I am providing is valid! I would not dare vandalize the page of my alma mater, just so you know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.144.245.144 (talk) 19:15, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
