Arnnon Geshuri is an American corporate executive who has served as Senior Director of Human Resources and Staffing at Google from 2004 to 2009 and as Vice President of Human Resources at Tesla Motors since 2009. In January 2016, he was appointed to the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees.

Personal life

Arnnon Geshuri grew up in Porterville, California. His father, Yosef Geshuri, is a clinical psychologist. He is married to Rebecca Geshuri.[1]

Education

Geshuri graduated from Monache High School in 1987, and Porterville College in 1989. He received a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from San Jose State University.[2][1]

Career

Geshuri was the Vice President of People Operations and Director of Global Staffing at E*Trade Financial Corporation.[3] He also worked at Applied Materials, he was a consultant for New United Motors Manufacturing, Inc., and he co-founded in 2002 the startup company ACI Technical for analytical instrumentation, based in South Africa, part of the group Invest in Africa.[2][4][5]

He was the Senior Director of Human Resources and Staffing at Google,[6][3] where he worked from 2004 to 2009[7] and oversaw all aspects of recruitment.[2][3] Geshuri was personally involved in activities subject to the High-Tech Employee Antitrust Litigation case while at Google that resulted in a settlement of $415 million paid by several large Silicon Valley companies.[8][9]
