The 101st Infantry Division (Arabic: الفرقة 101 مشاة), was a Syrian FSA-rebel group sanctioned by the Syrian National Council[1] and a part of the Syrian Revolutionary Command Council.[2] It received U.S.-made BGM-71 TOW anti-tank missiles and is funded by the Supreme Military Council.[1] It notably includes religious minorities in leadership positions.[3]

On 6th May 2015, along with 13 other Aleppo-based groups, joined the Fatah Halab joint operations room.

On 8th December 2015, it merged with the Knights of Justice Brigade, to form the Northern Division.[4][5] On 5 February 2016 along with Falcons of Mount Zawiya Brigade, 13th Division and the Jaysh al-Nasr dissolved to form the Army of the North.[6][7]
