Painted Hills is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Jackson Township, Morgan County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[3] Its population was 677 as of the 2010 census.[1] The community is located on the shores of Lake Holiday southeast of Martinsville.

The community has 1 pub/restaurant mix and an office in the "Clubhouse".

Geography

Painted Hills is located at 39°23′44″N 86°20′46″W / 39.39568°N 86.34603°W / 39.39568; -86.34603. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the community has an area of 1.952 square miles (5.06 km2), of which 1.730 square miles (4.48 km2) is land and 0.222 square miles (0.57 km2) is water.[1]
