Mireia Lalaguna Royo (born 21 November 1992) is a Spanish actress, pharmacist, model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss World Spain 2015 and in December the same year won Miss World 2015 in China. She is the first Miss World from Spain.[1]

She obtained a degree in pharmacy at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.

Pageantry

Miss Atlántico Internacional 2014

In 2014, Mireia was crowned Miss Atlántico Internacional 2014 after she won the pageant succeeding Lorena Romaso.

Miss World Spain 2015

Mireia also was crowned Miss World Spain 2015 on 24 October 2015 in Málaga, Spain.[citation needed]

Miss World 2015

She represented Spain at Miss World 2015 pageant which was held in Sanya, China.[2] She was crowned Miss World 2015 on 19 December 2015. This was the first time, that Spain had won the Miss World title.[3][4] It was only the second major global pageant title for Spain after Amparo Muñoz won Miss Universe 1974.

During her reign, she traveled to Indonesia, Puerto Rico, United States (multiple times), India, Kenya, Russia, China (multiple times), Philippines, Korea, England, South Africa, Ghana, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Jersey and Spain.
