This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Sundayrose894 (talk | contribs) at 11:30, 11 June 2020 (The Australian statistics were wrong (I'm fairly certain). I used the source and the same year and divided the number of each by Australia's 2015 population and then multiplied it by 100,000 to reach the numbers.). This is a historical list of countries by firearm-related death rate per 100,000 population in the listed year.

Homicide figures may include justifiable homicides along with criminal homicides, depending upon jurisdiction and reporting standards.

Not included are homicides, suicides, accidental deaths, or justifiable deaths by any means other than by firearm.
