Kasthuri is a 24-hour infotainment channel broadcasting in Kannada-language. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, the channel is a part of Kasthuri Medias Pvt. Ltd.[2][5][11][12]

Kasthuri Newz 24 was started in November 2011.

Background

Kasthuri was started on 26 September 2007 by the then Karnataka Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy,[5][13] initially airing 60 percent news and 40 percent entertainment programs.[13]
