Depati Amir Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Depati Amir) (IATA: PGK[3], ICAO: WIPK[2], formerly WIKK[4]), also known as Pangkal Pinang Airport, is an airport serving Pangkal Pinang, the largest town on the island of Bangka and the capital of the province of Bangka-Belitung in Indonesia.
A new terminal which has 2 aerobridge and could accommodate 1.500.000 people a year is under construction. A new apron and taxiway is also under construction. These project is expected to finish by August 2015.[5]
