Gadia is a large village and a village panchayat in Barabanki district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.[1][2]

Geography

Gadia is located at 26°33′N 81°05′E / 26.55°N 81.08°E / 26.55; 81.08.[3]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[4] Satrikh had 9,708 persons living in around 1589 households.[2]

History

Nawab of awadh era

Salar Ahmad’s family of Juggaur, fourth in descent from Qazi Kidwa, acquired the Gadia taluqa in 1843.[5][6][7]
