Kundarki is a nagar panchayat (town) in Moradabad district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The settlement dates back to the Mughal period.
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census[1], Kundarki had a population of 24,540. Males constitute 48% of the population and females 40%. Kundarki has an average literacy rate of 11%, lower than the national average of 59.5%. Male literacy is 12% less and female literacy is 10% less than that of the average rate of the state.

Culture
There are 30 masjid in Kundarki. Most of the people living here are from Muslim community.But they have been divided into different firqa.20% are deobandi and rest of the Muslim follow the bareillwi Islam. They fight and blaming each other. Inter religion marriages are acceptable but inter cast and inter firqa marriages can never be tolerated.

Sahaspur-Bilari was the largest Zamindari in Moradabad and Badaun districts of Uttar Pradesh. An ancestor of the current royal family, Prithvi Singh, went along with the Lodi kings when they were at Sambhal, Moradabad district, and after their defeat in 1526 at Panipat, by the Moghul Emperor, Babur, they settled quietly in Punjab. They kept in touch with Badaun and Katehr (old name of Moradabad) and at the insistence of Rao Pahar Singh Gaur, a relative, came back at the end of Aurangzeb's reign to receive the title of 'Rai' and were made 'Chakladars' of Bijnor District in 1713. Raja PRADHUMAN SINGH -/1880, born 1839, married and had issue. He died 1880. Raja ANIRUDH SINGH 1880/1910, born 1864, married and had issue. He died 1910. Raja Bahadur KRISHNA SINGH 1910/- Raja RAJ SINGH Raja JAGAT KUMAR SINGH -/1934, born 1912, married a granddaughter of Raja Sir Baba Khem Singh Bedi of Kallar, K.C.I.E., (now in Pakistan), who was 14th in descent from Guru Nanak, founder of the Sikh faith, and had issue. He died in 1934. Rajkumari Indra Mohini (Photo), married Maj. General Dewan Misri Chand, (son of Raja Tek Chand Bahadur, K.C.I.O., he was the 1st I.C.S. officer and was also awarded the Imperial Star), and had issue. She died 26th September 2005. Rani Reena Kumari, Member of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh, Minister in the State of Uttar Pradesh Government; married Raja Pratap Singh Jhala of Labhowa, son of the LT.Raja JITENDRA SINGH JHALA of Labhowa (grand son of Thakur Shri JORAWARSINHJI MADHAVSINHJI, the Thakur Saheb of Chuda), and his wife, Rani Sri Kumari, daughter of HH Sri Raj-i-Rajan Maharawal Sir PRITHVI SINGH Bahadur of Banswara, and has issue. Political Status
The town is represented in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly by Haji Akbar Husain. He was selected for M.L.A. seat five times. He is a Minister now. Rani Indra Mohni (Ex Minister) was a famous Congress Party leader. She was also selected for M.L.A. The selection of candidate is depend upon his cast rather than his ability. The chairman of kundarki Mr. Shakeel qazi has selected many times for chairman post but he did nothing for this region. his work is totally unsatisfactory but nobody can take any step against this strong person.
Business
There is no particular business in Kunderki but due to neighbourhood of Brass city Moradabad most of the people work in Moradabad and do their own business.More than 50% people passing their life in worst situation but still they are satisfy because they don't want to awake.
