User talk:Bingobro/Archive 1
My bad
[edit]Hello Bingobro
I hope I have put this message in an appropriate place according to the policies of Wiki.
You have sent me what appears to be a high level warning as follows:
"Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at St. James Infirmary Blues, you may be blocked from editing. Bingobro (Chat) 12:31, 3 November 2017 (UTC)"
My guess is that you picked me from some list of frequent edits/recent users, for you have provided me neither with rationale nor warning for your accusations.
Ironically, I have had messages (presumably automated) from wiki telling me I am doing well and to continue to edit.
I do not think that my edits are 'disruptive' as per the wikipedia page on disruptive editing. They do not cover many articles or extend over a long period of time. Nor are they pushing ideas that cannot be verified: they meet none of the criteria set out in Wiki.
Further, I have engaged in polite discussion via my talk page, despite feeling that one user who responded to me was less than polite, using the word 'Huh?' in a way that I experienced as being rather personally unpleasant.
Looking at the Wiki guidance: I note that 'vandalism' is defined as alterations done in bad faith, and of this I am certainly not guilty. It is defined as being against the aims of the wiki, and my aim is to improve the quality of the articles. I have very little experience in doing this. I have been very careful to abide by the requirement for content to be verifiable, and to use references to good sources.
I do not know what your knowledge in this area is, but mine is I think, substantial, having spent a long time researching both the songs whose pages I have been editing. In particular, I have been researching the way in which these songs have been described in the past, and the sources of the ideas about them presented in the articles. You will see from my talk page, from an article that I put there prior to your warning, that my intention is to work collaboratively.
It may be that I should be making more use of sandbox facilities, which I have realised as a result of using the wiki reference pages on disruptive and vandalised edits, but as an inexperienced user, this is difficult.
I am now left feeling a little intimidated, especially as you chose to go to a level three warning when there are other options. I do not feel that this should be happening when I do know a lot about the topic, and am making constructive suggestions.
I look forward to hearing from you on this, and in the meantime, I shall, I suppose, have to look at what to do when one receives a warning which one feels is disproportionate and inappropriate. I shall also be seeking a mentor, but I could not find one at first sight with relevant interests. I hope we can work to resolve this, not least because both the pages you refer to have a number of issues, and, as I mention in my talk page, they can mislead people reading them.
In my opinion, though the drafting and style may be in need of improvement and more wiki experience, the content of both articles is now much more suitable for an encyclopaedia to which people may turn for reliable, correctly referenced ideas on the topics than it was before my edits.
Yours sincerely
Kate Mash (talk) 15:11, 4 November 2017 (UTC) Kate Mash.
@Kate Mash: Feel free to remove that message I'm just a bit too excited and all at the moment and perhaps need a wiki-break. I apologize for that .Maybe I should stop the CVU work for a day or two get relaxed and during that time just focus on the mainspace. Happy editing! and once again sorry! Bingobro (Chat)
RPR
[edit]Do you also keep watch on Raipur airport ? If yes then restore the original runway length , someone has written extended runway length which is not yet done.
[1] Tantrik7 (talk) 15:42, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
@Tantrik7: Done Well, I've undone that runway length but you could have also done it as the page doesn't have extended confirmed protection and I'm not a Rollbacker.Cheers!Bingobro (Chat) 05:06, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
Good. But the airfield is showing the same . I think you haven't seen that. Tantrik7 (talk) 08:07, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
@Tantrik7: Done Corrected info in the airfield section also but, why me? You can also do it as I said earlier. Also RPR is a completely non protected page[2]and you're autoconfirmed so, anyways you can edit Semi-Protected pages and also from now on I'll keep a watch on the page.Happy editing! Signature contrast
[edit]Hello. Please read the Note at WP:SIGAPP. The red and gold in your current signature are both below the minimum contrast specified there, 4.5:1. Red is 4.1:1 and gold is only 1.4:1. This makes the username in your signature difficult to read, even for people with good vision. Please see if you can choose different colors that will comply with the policy. Thanks! ―Mandruss ☎ 13:50, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
@Mandruss: I'm, sorry I responded so late. Well, actually I like my signature very much and don't want to change it , perhaps you could help me in adjusting the yellow/gold. Bingobro (Chat) 15:42, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the ping. Tell you what, I've decided it would be useful to have a table of all named CSS colors that meet the 4.5:1 minimum contrast with white. With that, I think it would be easy to create a signature that is just as colorful and attractive, yet completely compliant. I'll let you know when it's done, probably no more than two or three days. ―Mandruss ☎ 15:59, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
@Mandruss: Thanks man. Bingobro (Chat) 16:03, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
- The tables are pretty much done, and we're deciding where to put them. For now, they are here. ―Mandruss ☎ 02:05, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
- The tables are now at the new subpage Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility/CSS colors for text on white, which is linked from WP:SIGAPP. ―Mandruss ☎ 21:31, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
Back again. After I spent hours making it easy for you, you've still not spent the 5 minutes required to comply with Wikipedia policy.[1] Red and Gold are below the minimum contrast and Gold isn't even close. Accessibility is more important than your aesthetic taste and self-expression, in my opinion. This will be my last comment on the issue, unless you have a question for me. ―Mandruss ☎ 01:16, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
@Mandruss: Sure, man immediately and I do.apologize. Bingobro (Chat) 05:56, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
Heres it Bingobro (Chat) 06:00, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- "navyblue" is not a CSS color name, so that is defaulting to black. I suggest "navy" instead. Also I noticed that the (Chat), which would normally be expected to link to your user talk page, is not a link at all. You should make it a link or remove it. I suppose the red is close enough. Thank you. ―Mandruss ☎ 08:01, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
@Mandruss: Well, in my preferences page if I click on the Chat It does come here I suppose the sign's here that's why.And for navy I'll do it immediately.
- Ah, you're right as to the link, I was looking at it cross-eyed. ―Mandruss ☎ 11:10, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please keep me updated about your progress, and feel free to ask if you to ask if you have question(s) on anti-vandalism or Wikipedia/Wikimedia, in general. In last one month, I got fever thrice, and recovering. --Tito Dutta (talk) 19:44, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
@Titodutta: Sure man but first get well soon! I never knew you were sick. Well currently I myself have been away from wiki for a week and have just come back and I'll definitely ask questions when required. Thanks! Bingobro (Chat) 07:07, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

Airports
[edit]Hi Bingo,
I visited List of busiest airports of india page . Seems like some people are badly disturbing the page. Firstly 2017 - 2018 stats have been removed.
Raipur airport is missing from 2016 - 2017 stats. And how Surat airport came to 28th position with passenger movement of more than 12 lakhs which is wrong. Even by that figures it should be at 32. Don't know whats going on there. Please visit and do something.
Thanx Tantrik7 (talk) 13:29, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
@Tantrik7: Done Thanks buddy, for telling me about it .As I said a few months back you could also do it!And perhaps you should start editing more frequently you'd do a great job.Bingobro (Chat) 14:09, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Can you please call me on (Redacted) for something important I need to discuss. Thanks, Ammeet K Agarwal President and CEO Supreme Airlines — Preceding unsigned comment added by 42.109.22.44 (talk) 17:25, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
@42.109.22.44: I'm sorry If you really are Mr. Ammeet K Agarwal I'd suggest you have a talk with an administrator like User:Mz7.And please do not give out personal info on any page of wikipedia. Bingobro (Chat) 08:15, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- Bingobro, I would ignore this. Mr. Agarwal, if you have an issue with an article on Wikipedia, you will have to let us know on Wikipedia directly what your concerns are. Alternatively, you can email our Volunteer Response Team at info-enwikimedia.org. I have also redacted a part of your message; please be aware that this is an open forum and anyone on the Internet can access it. Thank you. Mz7 (talk) 08:26, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

Rollback granted
[edit]Hi Bingobro. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! TonyBallioni (talk) 04:00, 26 November 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Yuva Jet
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Yuva Jet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DGG ( talk ) 08:55, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
@DGG: Nope this is'int my first article and I'll contest the deletion! Bingobro (Chat) 08:59, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
- sorry about the inapplicability of the template, but I use the automatic templates from Twinkle. I see you have done a number of articles on minor airlines, and I recognize we are inclusive for infrastruture and transportation--an orientation that I generally support, but how can this company which has not yet actually begun operations, be notable? DGG ( talk ) 09:09, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
@DGG: Well across all wikis there are probably thousands of articles about comapnies that haven't yet begun operations.Just in India there are about 7-8 planned airline articles some with barely any reliable source/ref at least I gave reliable sources/ref's (CAPA and ch-aviation) Bingobro (Chat) 09:13, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
- well, perhaps we should reconsider them, though I think it would depend at least somewhat on the proposed scope of operations. AfD willl decide. DGG ( talk ) 09:24, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
@DGG: The article's now in WP:DRV and is getting towards overturn by another user User:Cunard and an administrator User:Ymblanter.Bingobro (Chat) 14:01, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2017 December 3
Hello there. You don't seem to understand how verifiability works here in wikipedia. None of the sources confirm that this airline is now operating scheduled services. Booking engine of the airline or the page on the airline's website linked earlier cannot be sources. Topic A cannot imply B. That's what WP:SYNTH says. Travel websites are not sources. Even if this airline is a scheduled one, Wikipedia can wait until a reliable source is available for the same. — LeoFrank Talk 13:48, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
@LeoFrank: Ah, yes and you could also move it to the chartered section in the template for now. Thanks!Bingobro (Chat) 13:50, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
ArbCom 2017 election voter message
[edit]Hello, Bingobro. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
Per Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2017 December 3, an article you recently created, Yuva Jet has been not found to meet the expectations/notability factor for an independent article yet. Thus, in accordance with the consensus, I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. New Page Reviewer Newsletter
[edit]Backlog update:
- The new page backlog is currently at 12713 pages. Please consider reviewing even just a few pages each day! If everyone helps out, it will really put a dent in the backlog.
- Currently the backlog stretches back to March and some pages in the backlog have passed the 90 day Google index point. Please consider reviewing some of them!
Outreach and Invitations:
- If you know other editors with a good understanding of Wikipedia policy, invite them to join NPP by dropping the invitation template on their talk page with:
{{subst:NPR invite}}
. Adding more qualified reviewers will help with keeping the backlog manageable.
New Year New Page Review Drive
- A backlog drive is planned for the start of the year, beginning on January 1st and running until the end of the month. Unique prizes will be given in tiers for both the total number of reviews made, as well as the longest 'streak' maintained.
- Note: quality reviewing is extremely important, please do not sacrifice quality for quantity.
General project update:
- ACTRIAL has resulted in a significant increase in the quality of new submissions, with noticeably fewer CSD, PROD, and BLPPROD candidates in the new page feed. However, the majority of the backlog still dates back to before ACTRIAL started, so consider reviewing articles from the middle or back of the backlog.
- The NPP Browser can help you quickly find articles with topics that you prefer to review from within the backlog.
- To keep up with the latest conversation on New Pages Patrol or to ask questions, you can go to Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers and add it to your watchlist.
If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, go here. — TonyBallioni (talk) 20:27, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
PERM clerking
[edit]Hi, just wanted to drop a brief note about PERM clerking. I know you are trying to be helpful, but typically for requests on the simpler ones like rollback and pending changes, we don't really need someone to help go through contributions: they tend to be handed out pretty liberally and its a basic review of the contributions to see if they have a record and are likely to abuse the tools either knowingly or unknowingly. On this request, the user in question might feel a bit odd to have his competence questioned by a user with half his edit count and 6 years less experience than him. This also didn't add anything of value, and if you had concerns with Nakon's use of language, it would be better to bring them up to him on his talk page (but it likely wouldn't go anywhere, because the use of the word fuck is not disallowed on Wikipedia). Anyway, nothing to worry about, I just thought I should write a brief note. Hope all is well :) TonyBallioni (talk) 15:16, 17 December 2017 (UTC)

CVUA
[edit]Hello Bingobro. I has been quite some time since I've heard from you regarding your CVUA course. Please be aware that you still need to finish your final exam in order to graduate. If you're busy, that's okay, we can put your course on hold for a while. However, I noticed you just pinged me to User talk:Callanecc#ACC, and it looks like you are trying to use your CVUA course to gain access to additional tools. Note that having a technical understanding of the policy is one thing, but you also need to show experience applying it. I looked through your contributions, and despite what you told Callanecc, it does not look like you have ever edited Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention. Out of all your contributions to the project space, it looks like you've edited Wikipedia:Requests for permissions the most, which isn't good, as it may carry the impression to administrators that you are gaining user rights just to have them, not to actively use them. Essentially, I just want to check up on whether you intend to complete the CVUA course. It's intended for your benefit, but it alone is not enough to get you access to all of the various extended permissions on Wikipedia. Mz7 (talk) 17:42, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
@Mz7:I misunderstood there as for ACC bit I clearly remember telling you a few promotional usernames like User:InterHigh on your talk page and you may want to check that again please, and as for that I'm just a bit out of the CVUA bit for now I'll complete it soon in a few days. And as for WP:PERM I did some clerking and as for requesting permissions I'v only requested them thrice 2 being approved 1 earlier rollback was denied as I was new here at that time and for the rest I was trying to get the bug with my account fixed related WP:CONFIRM/AUTOCONFIRM. So, I'd just like to say in nice way I'm not hat collecting. Thanks I'l be back to CVUA soon.See you there.Bingobro (Chat) 05:44, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying. You did let me know about a few promotional usernames during the CVUA case. As for clerking at PERM, I don't think it's really needed unless there is something about a requestor that an administrator might likely overlook. All the best, Mz7 (talk) 05:55, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

Latest news from the Wikimedia Collaboration team, about Map improvements 2018, Notifications, Structured discussions and Edit Review Improvements. Please tell other users about these changes. Not all changes will affect you.
What's new?
The Collaboration team has announced the start of a new project: In-Context Help and Onboarding. The idea is to improve retention of new wiki editors by giving them short tutorials and other training experiences related to, and triggered by, their current activities on the wikis (that’s the “in context” part). The project follows from the conclusions of the New Editor Experiences research. The work is in its very early stages, but we’d like to hear from people with ideas on the subject—particularly if you have experience supporting or training new contributors.
Map improvements 2018 [More information]

- Preferences panel on Special:Notifications was overlapping other elements. This has been fixed. [55]
Future changes
- An important work is under progress to allow thanks of log entry. This is done by the Community Tech team. [56]
Structured discussions [More information • Help pages]
Recent changes
- Structured Discussions extension has been uninstalled from wikis not using it. However, it is still possible for a community to request a trial of Structured discussions. [57]
Problems
- It was not possible to opt-in and opt-out Structured discussions on wikis using it as a Beta feature. It is now fixed. [58]
Future changes
- The visual editor and 2017 wikitext editor interface is going to change for consistency. The toolbar, dialogs and menus will appear slightly bigger; some icons will look different. Content or functionality will not change. That change will apply to Structured Discussions as well. [59]

An article you recently created, Yuva Jet, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. New Page Reviewer Flag
[edit]Hi, Bingobro.
I've noticed that you are an AfC reviewer but don't yet have the New Page Reviewer flag. Would you please consider heading over to PERM and requesting it? (check the flag requirements HERE)
As part of a larger plan to increase cooperation between New Page Patrol and Articles for creation, we are trying to get as many of the active AfC reviewers as possible under the NPR user flag (per this discussion). Unlike the AfC request list, the NPR flag carries no obligation to review new articles, so I'm not asking you to help out at New Page Patrol if you don't want to, just to request the flag.
Of course, if it is something you would be interested in, you can have a look at the NPP tutorial. Please mention that you are an active AfC reviewer in your application.
Cheers, — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 06:16, 11 April 2018 (UTC)

Use of non-free files on User:Bingobro/Sandbox/IPL
[edit]Greetings! I've noticed that twice now you have placed non-free files onto User:Bingobro/Sandbox/IPL. A non-free file is one that is marked with a red "C" on it meaning it is not available under a free license. Per our policy at WP:NFCC #9, the use of non-free files outside of an actual article on the project is not permitted. Further, even if this were to be come an article, we wouldn't allow this sort of usage anyway. Please don't restore them again. If you have questions about this, I'll be happy to answer. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 00:38, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Janmejaya Swain. I removed content from Birsa Munda Airport
I removed IndiGo flight from [Birsa Munda Airport|Ranchi]] to Indore. Because that fight is not a Direct flight. It have 45min layover in Delhi. This fight is not non-stop flight. So that I removed that one. So please you remove that one. Only non-stop fights should be in Birsa Munda Airport Airline and destination page. Janmejaya Swain (talk) 16:33, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
@Janmejaya Swain: Kindly read WP:AIRPORTS and WP:AIRLINES you are still a very new editor and please have a look here [60] where a very experienced editor also confirmed it. The flight does have a layover but there is no change of aircraft or flight numbers. Hope you understand.Cheers! Bingobro (Chat)

Plz block the User:Rfk1989
[edit]Please block the User:Rfk1989, as he is constantly making disruptive edits to Shahjalal International Airport. I have already warned him twice not to vandalize the list of destionations of that mentioned airport but he never listens. Always adds whatever he wishes. I earnestly request you to block the user. Can't take him anymore. As I dont have rollbacker or pageviewer status, So, I can't fix those vandalism. I hope you would be strict enough to block that user. And plz resurrect all data as it was on 22:37, 7 June 2019. Which was my last edits to that page and since then multiple users made several disruptive edits to that page. Thank You. @ImSonyR9: Hi, but only admins/crats can block users. You can report them at WP:AIV. Also you do not need any rights to fix vandalism or disruptive edits. You can use the good old undo option or use twinkle. I'd recommend using twinkle as it's a good package to get you started on counter vandalism activities and if your'e interested in it you could sign up for WP:CVUA. Thank you and happy editing! Making 50 edits
[edit]I have seen your issue related to editing pages that are autoconfirmed in Wikidata. By following this, please try making 50 edits ony any items and check if you can edit pages that are semi-protected after that. Adithyak1997 (talk) 18:07, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Adithyak1997: Hey, thanks for the suggestion, though on Wikidata I've been confirmed until September and turns out it wasn't anything major as it was an X Tools error. X Tools may still be configured for the majority of projects auto-confirmed requirements i.e. 10 edits and 4 days, while on Wikidata its 50 edits and so, it showed me as auto-confirmed. I'm not doing this myself because I'm not familiar with the requirements of a City's article to be a GA after all I'm mostly active in counter-vandalism , WP:Aviation and Afd/Afc and why not do it yourself you'll gain experience . Hi, I see you declined the draft I made for wins by Sébastien Loeb. Your comment was that the article of Sébastien Loeb already exists, but my plan was to remove the "wins" section on his page and instead redirect to this page, which has additional information about his victories.
Racing drivers with significant amount of wins have lists of their victories, like List of NASCAR race wins by Jimmie Johnson. Kovpastish (talk) 14:42, 10 July 2020 (UTC) Kovpastish (talk) 14:42, 10 July 2020 (UTC)

Another example of a similiar situation is Simplifly Deccan (started as Air Deccan and operated 2003-2011) and Air Deccan (2017-present), now these two airlines were founded by the same guy and even had same IATA and ICAO coodes and even the same logo, but they're not the same airline. Why did you revert my reversion to the last clean version, an IP made unsourced changes that you restored. Jerod Lycett (talk) 15:31, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

Rishi Kumar
[edit]Hello! Thank you so much for your recent feedback on the Rishi Kumar page - I added charts and changed the general tone of writing. Additionally, I added a table about the recent primary and 8 sources throughout, backing up given statements. Essentially I did my best to fix everything wrong with the article according to your comments. I also worked with my colleague who happened to be making one too (on accident) to make this one our main draft - hence, my apologies for the confusion about the many drafts. I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at the new, and updated article - thank you!

- @Usademocrat12: Hey, the article in question Rishi Kumar has been SALTED and only sysops/crats can accept and publish it. You should probably not approach them directly and wait for someone with those rights to review your draft. And when you say "a colleague who was working on a draft" of the same person, are you guys being paid to do so? or are you guys in anyway related with the subject? If you are kindly read WP:COI, WP:PAID and disclose the info per WP:COIPAYDISCLOSE, failure to do which could hand you an indef. block, and if you're not then no worries and either way happy editing! - @MuhammadZeeshan35: Hi there, if the image is free and not copyrighted or is your own work you can upload it at Wikimedia Commons a sister project of Wikipedia where you can log-in using the same credentials. If it is a non free image you will have to provide a licence to show that you have permission to use the file. Also, whenever adding a message to someones talk use the + or Add topic buttons on the top right of the page and don't forget to sign your posts with tildes like this ~~~~. @Adityabill2001: Hey there, what the heck do you mean by "nepotism"? And you've just come out of a block so it's more than wise to focus on editing rather than leaving remarks such as "shame on you people" on other's talk pages, this is not civil and moreover you're far too inexperienced around here, and do see WP:APR. I guess this is about this edit [62] at NSCBI Airport, you had been blocked for edit warring on that page and had been warned multiple times, your previous edit was AGF'd by Debitpixie with a decent explanation of the revert, yet you continued to insert your preferred image into the article's infobox, while the image is already in the article in a paragraph that follows. And then you have the audacity to come to my talk page and call the community "nepotist". I'd say read our policies, maintain civility, make main-space edits and enjoy your time instead of edit warring and "shaming" others. Bingobro (Chat) 04:36, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
You all are are Wikipedia mafias. Thats why you all are more experienced in undoing edits of other editors. NEPOTISM GUYS!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adityabill2001 (talk • contribs) 07:14, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
@Adityabill2001: Pal, name calling the community is certainly not going to work. You are calling us a "mafia" everyone here makes a mistake now and then and is corrected, advised or warned accordingly. If you simply cannot take some criticism or warnings and have to go to other's talk pages and name call then you're WP:NOTCOMP. Folk here who 'revert' edits with automated tools are entrusted by the community with them only and only after a long process of training and/or experience in the area (see WP:CVUA). I'd still advise to be polite and continue editing without that bossy temperament- "I'm right and anyone who disagrees is a nepotist mafia". I'd also advise you to not comeback and reply here if its with the same bossy temperament, I had given a decent revert summary, a template on your talk page, a reasonably polite reply here with links to policies and you're here again. So, if you take the criticism in the right way it'll be good otherwise there's nothing to say. And as for experience it shows that you don't even sign your comments (which is not uncommon for newcomers and isn't a big deal in the short run). Bingobro (Chat) 08:52, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
You don't want replies because you are not ready to admit your mistakes. WIKIPEDIA MAFIA!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adityabill2001 (talk • contribs) 11:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- Adityabill2001, Listen I really don't want to take this further I'll openly say I'm not the brightest bulb or anywhere near a veteran but I've been here long enough to understand how things work and I with absolute certainty can say that I'm not at fault and you while being corrected have the audacity to say that I'm at fault, come on man where was I at fault. This temperament of not listening to advise and name-calling is a childish thing to do. If you still think I'm at fault or I'm a nepotist mafia take this to a sysop or crat. Bingobro (Chat) 14:05, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
Your constant messaging proves that you are not ready to admit your mistakes. Moreover, you are childish. WIKIPEDIA MAFIA!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adityabill2001 (talk • contribs) 14:23, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- Adityabill2001, Let's take a moment of calm, and try to address the problem here, you're angry (everyone gets angry) regarding that one revert I made. Somebody reverting your edits can be frustrating (it happens with everyone). So, how about you take the issue up on the talk page of NSCBI Airport? You could put a discussion header and build consensus over the image over there. If there is consensus feel free to re-add the image at the desired location. If you need assistance drop by the Teahouse where you can get any of your questions answered. And let's not name-call anyone.
- Thank you and I wish you happy editing! Bingobro (Chat) 17:39, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

Respected Sir,
It is true that Air India is starting flights between Kolkata and London. Though it is not a commercial flight, but it is a regular scheduled flight. Moreover, the starting and ending dates are mentioned in the article. So, it will be alright to mention this in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adityabill2001 (talk • contribs) 06:03, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Adityabill2001: Firstly we at WP are regular guys and gals like you. We arent any "big-shots or officials". Now, coming to the flight it's a limited run flight for evacuation. Its not a commercial and scheduled service we only mention flights which are commercial and scheduled while verifying them with reliable sources. I'd also suggest that you bring this up on the talk page instead of reverting my and Prolix's edits on the page, remember if you find yourself in a situation like this always build consensus on the talk page. Bingobro (Chat) 06:12, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
I have added the London flight as an evacuation flight along with it's starting and ending dates. Hope this satisfies you. Moreover, it will be also helpful to the readers as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adityabill2001 (talk • contribs) 07:22, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Adityabill2001: Man, how do I explain this to you we simply do not add flights which aren't scheduled commercial services . Its not about satisfying me its about following policies and maintaining consistency. If you want to add the flight I'd still suggest you to bring it up on the talk page of the article. Bingobro (Chat) 07:29, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
I guess you will understand nothing even after mentioning the flight as an evacuation flight... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adityabill2001 (talk • contribs) 07:48, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Adityabill2001: Man , you seriously need to read policies around here. We don't own articles its just common practice and/or policy that's it nothing more. I wish you happy editing. Thank you! Bingobro (Chat) 07:54, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

Air India London Kolkata Flight
[edit]The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
I know that Kolkata-London is under Vande Bharat Mission but if you see the Heathrow Page then you will find Vistara and Air India from Kochi and Amritsar which are also under Vande Bharat. In Amritsar Airport’s Page you can find London Flight. Then what is the problem in adding it in Kolkata Airport Page? Also it can be booked by anyone who have a UK Visa valid for more than 6 months...If you agree with me please add it in the airport’s page NilInfinite (talk) 09:21, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
- I'd ask a straightforward question did I add those flight on the respective pages? No! Then it's certainly not my responsibility (if you wish to call it that) to take care of such edits. Also, right now this is at WP:ANI so, its best to stay away from any edits related to the one in question. Thanks! Bingobro (Chat)

@SHISHIR DUA: The best way to listen to advise? remove it from the relevant page/section! You removing my !vote on your meta merchandise page and then removing my post regarding you on Usernamekiran's talk shows a complete lack of understanding how things work around here. I'd suggest that do what you're best at (I believe football related content) with a calm and mature mindset. Stop requesting any user right, stop going to others talk pages to canvass and/or bail you out of a mess, stop calling a user backward, who has a decade more experience than you, and take !votes/warnings/notes/discussion in the right way and under no circumstance (none whatsoever) remove them from the relevant pages. Possible socks?
[edit]Hey BingoBro, do you think Sayswalk (talk · contribs) is a returning sock of Fly787? Their predominant interest is in ATQ and IXC just like the previous editors who are indeffed now. Also, here, as soon as I reverted, a new user with only edit to this airport, comes and reverts my edit. — LeoFrank Talk 09:16, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Check my complete past edit history. I have made edits not limited to ATQ and IXC. Sayswalk (talk) 12:26, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- @LeoFrank: ATQ and IXC are certainly a common point between the two users and the old socks like A380Flyer and JupiterBird. As Oshwah said that Ashraay is "possilikely" and there is a cliché WP:LITTLEBROTHER derivative. Honestly (based on this) I think it is possible that Sayswalk is a sock of Fly787. And Sayswalk if you're seeing this and the SPI ends up acquitting you of being a sock of Fly787 don't take this personally , its just how things work around here. Happy editing to both of you! Bingobro (Chat) 13:45, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Hey, I would like to once again re-iterate the fact that my edits are not limited to ATQ and IXC. ATQ and IXC combined might not be more than 20% of total contribution to wiki. Regarding the brother part, I have told what is true and I am afraid I cannot do anything more about it (By the way he is my elder brother, not little anyways). Apart from this, I believe I would not take any of this personally and I had great time on wiki to correct and share the knowledge to the world and interact with you all, and in case still SPI feels I have disrupted any rules and I should not be part of this process, I would still be happy giving my precious time to some other platform, (just in case). Happy Editting to all of you Sayswalk (talk) 14:25, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Bingobro. Just FYI: [64]. — LeoFrank Talk 13:35, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- LeoFrank, Thanks for informing, sometimes one acts nice and welcoming to new editors and they end up being socks. Damn! Bingobro (Chat) 09:04, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- Bingobro, Indeed. I had my suspicions after another editor came reverting my revert of Sayswalk. If you notice, Sayswalk's initial edits were all from ATQ airport. Right after I sent you this, they changed their editing pattern and moved out to other articles and rarely edited ATQ to avoid suspicion. Now that they are aware of what we look at with their behaviour, we need to be more vigilant in tracking more of their socks. — LeoFrank Talk 09:15, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- LeoFrank, Hopefully this isn't a sock-farm. Also, I bumped into another "airport saga" edit on the list of airports page for Madurai. Any thoughts on creating a guideline and maybe, just maybe a hard policy? Bingobro (Chat) 09:18, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- Bingobro, Unfortunately, this does look like a sock farm which is IMO likely to only increase as days pass by. It kinda looks like one has already come quite quick here. But Sayswalk did try a lot to game the system by focussing on other airports and trying to copy-paste other editors' ES in their edits. Maybe Oshwah who recently did a technical analysis of the sock data can try checking if there are any sleepers. — LeoFrank Talk 14:16, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
