"US" versus "United States"
Hi. I appreciate the work you're doing cleaning up articles, but I'd like to point out that it's not always better to replace "US" with "United States" in infoboxes. If "United States" is too long, it causes the location to croll to the next line, and divded it into "United" / "States". This is untidy, and also unnecessarily adds an additional line to the infobox -- which are sometimes quite long enough already! If you can, please take care to make sure that changing to "United States" is not too long for the line, in which case, "US" is better, since there's no ambiguity about what "US" means. Thanks, and please keep up your admirable work. Beyond My Ken (talk) 07:54, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- OK, I'll be using [[United States|US]] in info's. Regards, --Klemen Kocjancic (talk) 08:49, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- Only when necessary. If "United States" fits, that's fine! Thanks. Beyond My Ken (talk) 09:11, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- Looks to me like one detail-obsessed user talking to another detail-obsessed user. :) Or maybe I just haven't met many users here at all. Pagen HD (talk) 11:50, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
broke image link
FYI, you broke an image image link. Automated tools are wonderful... until they take over and destroy the world. I fixed it. – JBarta (talk) 00:04, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Did he graduate from Sandhurst? The text of his article says he went there, was unhappy, left, and shortly died. "Former students of Sandhurst..." yes, but have you any evidence for the category you've put him into? By extension, are you just adding the category to anyone who studied there, with or without evidence that they graduated? (Is "graduation" the right word for an officer training college?) Military Historian of the Year
Nominations for the "Military Historian of the Year" for 2011 are now open. If you would like to nominate an editor for this award, please do so here. It's the details that matter.
It's the details that seperate the uneducated and the knowledgeable. You do little things like changing IMDB to IMDb, May of 5 to May 5, and it pleases me. Pagen HD (talk) 11:52, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center
In the course of using AWB to edit Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center on 28 December, you blanked most of a reference, causing a citation error message. I have reverted the edit. I am not very familiar with AWB but assume the mistake was inadvertent. Cheers, Peter Chastain (talk) 09:59, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
- Thx for correction. Problem was in first ref name, which was undefined. I've fixed it. Regards, --Klemen Kocjancic (talk) 10:04, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Replacing US with US
You are editing a lot of pages to replace US with US. However, there is no need to replace a redirect with a piped link to the actual target, and this kind of replacement is actually discouraged, both by Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser#Rules of use ("Avoid making insignificant or inconsequential edits such as [...] bypassing a redirect[...]") and by Wikipedia:Redirect#Do not "fix" links to redirects that are not broken. Fram (talk) 10:25, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, didn't know that. I'll stop. Thx for info. Regards, --Klemen Kocjancic (talk) 11:49, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

{{mil-unit-dis}}
Hello Klemen. I'm puzzled at some of your changes of disambiguation pages to {{mil-unit-dis}} pages. For example, on 207th only two out of the six entries have any military connection. I can't see any justification for such a change – the term 207th is not inherently military. I'll wait to revert until I've read your reply. Best wishes — Hebrides (talk) 13:38, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
- I reverted myself and added some more mil-units. Regards, --Klemen Kocjancic (talk) 13:51, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. That's good. — Hebrides (talk) 14:54, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi. This category no longer exists; it was deleted, hence the red links. Do not re-add, ergo. Quis separabit? 22:47, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

Aussie and British DSM
Just as a heads up, the Distinguished Service Medal (Australia) only came into existence in 1991. Any award of this decoration (such as here and here) is actually the Distinguished Service Medal (United Kingdom), which was used by other Commonwealth nations in addition to the UK. -- saberwyn 12:29, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I have declined your G6 speedy deletion request at Slovenian Armed Forces. There was previously an article at this title before it was merged into Military of Slovenia, and so the Slovenian Armed Forces redirect has an edit history that must be preserved for copyright reasons - it cannot simply be deleted. If the article is to be moved back, some sort of merge again will be needed, but I'm afraid I'm not able to help with that at the moment. I suggest you place an {{adminhelp}} request on the Talk page of Military of Slovenia asking how to move/merge it back, and someone should be able to help. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:01, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
Captain
Hello, Klemen. Please note that Captain is a disambiguation page. If you want to add a link to an article about a person who held the rank or position of "Captain," please be sure you are linking to the article about the correct type of Captain, instead of making the reader figure it out for themselves. Thank you. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 14:52, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Invitation to wikiFeed
Hello Klemen Kocjancic,
I'm part of a team that is researching ways to help Wikipedia editors find interesting content to contribute to Wikipedia. More specifically, we are investigating whether content from news sources can be used to enhance Wikipedia editing. We have created a tool, called wikiFeed, that allows you to specify Twitter and/or RSS feeds from news sources that are interesting to you. wikiFeed then helps you make connections between those feeds and Wikipedia articles. We believe that using this tool may be a lot of fun, and may help you come up with some ideas on how to contribute to Wikipedia in ways that interest you. Please participate! To do so, complete this survey and follow this link to our website. Once you're there, click the "create an account" link to get started.
For more information about wikiFeed, visit our project page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via my talk page, or by email at wikifeedcc@gmail.com. We appreciate your time and hope you enjoy playing with wikiFeed!
