Articles need text[edit]

Please note that an infobox is an optional extra for an article, but every article in the encyclpedia needs to have text. Sose Tanda Soubhagya and Sandharbha both need to have at the very least an opening sentence something like "Sandharbha is a 1978 Kannada-language film." Slow down[edit]

You appear to have created a large number of articles that, to at least some editors, are insufficient. Many have been spared speedy deletion, but they are still insufficient. A minimum Wikipedia article should consist of more than just an information box or a bare filmography with no context. In your rush to create a lot of articles, you are creating a lot of bad articles, and you are creating a lot of work of other editors to clean up behind you. Remember, there's no deadline. Take your time on each article to provide a minimum amount of actual content. If the article is about a film, write a paragraph or two about the film: who directed it, who starred in it, what it's about (briefly) and how it fared (critical reception, box office reception). Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Joe Simon (Director), you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. You have been told multiple times not to create these articles that contain a list of films and nothing else. Thank you for creating this stub article, but please remember two things:

Every Wikipedia article must include text. Not just an infobox. At the very least please always provide a sentence like "Manini is a 1979 Indian film." If someone finds the article in a list of Google hits or a Wikipedia search, they need this basic information - an infobox will not help them.
Every Wikipedia article needs sources: give references to the publications which provide the information about the subject.
If you create an article like this with a "disambiguation", you need to add it to the relevant disambiguation page (or, sometimes, add a "hatnote" to the single article at that name). I have updated the disambiguation page at Manini.

Final attempt/warning--call it what you will[edit]

BKPATIL, it is clear that you are trying to improve Wikipedia's coverage of a poorly-covered area, and I thank you for it. However, the way in which you are doing this is clearly not well-received by many editors--editors of good faith who are also trying to improve the project. The problems are easily identified: a. simply creating an infobox is not deemed enough for many editors, which is why this page is full of speedy-deletion warnings. b. you are not communicating with those editors. Since this is a collaborative project, in which you are not just encouraged but required to work with other editors, I foresee great difficulties if you continue to create these stubs that are considered sub-par by many editors, without even deigning to discuss these problems. Now, you have just created Sardar Dharmanna, and that must be the last one to have nothing but an infobox. If your next article does not contain at least a sentence that identifies the topic and makes a claim about the importance of the subject, I will block this account, and it will not be unblocked until you can convince us that you will agree to collaborate with other editors.

In the meantime I urge you to take and seek the counsel of editors like PamD, WikiDan61, Bladesmulti, and NE Ent. You may also want to have a word with Dr. Blofeld, who has created thousands of articles on films. Thank you, and I hope I won't have to come back here as the bearer of bad news.
