The 2018–19 A-League is the 42nd season of national level soccer in Australia, and the 14th since the establishment of the A-League in 2004. The regular season will commence on 19 October 2018 and conclude on 28 April 2019. The 2019 Grand Final will take place on 18 May or 19 May 2019.

Discipline

During the season each club is given fair play points based on the number of cards they received in games. A yellow card is worth 1 point, a second yellow card is worth 2 points, and a red card is worth 3 points. At the annual awards night, the club with the least number of points wins the Fair Play Award.[37]
