== Edit Request: Help needed for Chobani ==

Hello. I am Kait and I work for [[Chobani]]. I recently posted an edit request on the [[Talk:Chobani#Edit_Requests_to_update_Intro_and_History_sections|Talk:Chobani]] page, which has so far gone unanswered. I am hoping that since in the past you have made edits to the Chobani page, you would like to continue helping to improve the article with what I believe are straightforward updates to keep the page current. Please examine my edit request, and if you agree that they improve the article, kindly implement them. Thanks in advance. Self-reverting

Please self-revert fully if you are to avoid sanctions. Thanks. El_C 17:02, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, only because there is doubt. I self-revert for no reason and take it to the arb-com.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 19:43, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Paradise Chronicle, please do not continue editing while this remains outstanding. A response to this should be your utmost priority. El_C 22:51, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That is not how an Arbitration case is meant to be drafted (even all the formatting errors aside) — you need a summary of the dispute. But Arbitration is the last stage of the dispute resolution process. I get the sense that you haven't exhausted other dispute resolution avenues yet. El_C 22:59, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I missed your reply above because it was unindented. Now, what about this latest edit whose edit summary reads "revert"? How do I explain that? El_C 23:06, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I usually resort to you only if there is really help needed, but now you revert my request at the arb-com for formatting. Ok it is a difficult thing apparently. You wrote there are other resources. What are they? Ibn Amr edit wars like a pro and all the wikipedia admins are defending his behavior so far. He literally wrote I don't care as an answer after as he was demanded explanations to explain his edits. He was demanded an answer to this 2 times more before iBN Amr answered with [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Tell_Abyad&diff=next&oldid=963052636&diffmode=source this which was also not on topic. He is the major edit warrior in the dispute 11 times. And you tell me to self revert? What do you want? I don't get it. Where is the solution, who can help? Paradise Chronicle (talk) 23:22, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Paradise Chronicle, see WP:DRR for more options. Please respond to my query about your last "revert" — I need an explanation about that. Thanks. El_C 23:22, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I tried to self revert, I really did. I restored now just an older version in which all the quotes are included. I hope this works for you. Thanks for the noticeParadise Chronicle (talk) 23:27, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It does not. Please self-revert that as well while you still can. Failing to do so risk sanctions. El_C 23:28, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind, you are reverting further still? I am sanctioning you. El_C 23:33, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
i have been restoring to the version just as it was before my first edit today. This version is now at wikipedia. I don't get it, why you are blocking me.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 23:35, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The version you should have reverted to was this one. El_C 23:37, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Ibn Amr wrote at the talk page he wanted me to self revert the whole thing at the 8 July. He also mentioned this at the 3RR noticeboard. On the 8 July the current version was the one he wanted. I guess this is a misunderstanding. Anyway, in both versions, in the one El C wanted and the one in place now, all quotes in dispute are included.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 00:30, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't really matters what Amr ibn Kulthoum wants — you were obliged to self-revert to the latest version before your reverts. El_C 00:33, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This was it. This was what he wanted, a full revert of all the edits I made. That's why he came to you to the talk page. By the way, I have reverted to your wanted versionbefore, but then you told me to further revert, which then I did. This is just not fair, sorry. There was a confusion, as I told that both versions of you and of me include all three quotes in dispute, I thought you want me to restore all three quotes. But only my version includes all three quotes in dispute, your version only includes one, the one of KurdWatch, mine the one of KurdWatch, WaPo and Balanche.I reverted to both versions, both times trying to do the correct thing and get blocked.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 00:58, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Paradise Chronicle,

Thank you for creating Murder of Şule Çet.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Surely with the social media campaign this had more news coverage for notability.

January 2021: Arbitration

I have filed an arbitration case request. I have listed you as a party. See: Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case#Syrian_Kurdistan. GPinkerton (talk) 07:42, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re your broader draft case request: I would just explain the situation to the arbs (that you were working on a case request of your own, you can link to your subpage so they can see it) and ask them if they want you to file it or not file it. They might want to combine the two requests into one request. I notice at least some of them are talking about a broader case, so maybe they'd deny Gpink's narrower case request and accept your broader request. Or, they might decline Gpink's and not want you to file a duplicate. Who knows; really only the arbs know. Levivich harass/hound 17:35, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kurds and Kurdistan case opened

You were recently listed as a party to a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kurds and Kurdistan. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kurds and Kurdistan/Evidence. Please add your evidence by February 5, 2021, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kurds and Kurdistan/Workshop. RfA

Hey, PC, I'm so sorry if I asked that question in a way that seemed harsh! I didn't intend that, only to try to attain clarity! —valereee (talk) 21:10, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry, you were sort of right. My intention was good, too, but at the stage of RfA's one shouldn't wobble around with the phrasing of questions. There will be RfAs again, and similar questions will come up until the issue is solved. I actually try to formulate the questions in a general fashion, as last time (at Hog Farm) my question was maybe a bit too detailed and met with some slight criticism from a very respected editor.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 22:08, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see! You asked a very specific question at Hog Farm's and someone said it was too specific, and then you made it less specific for TJMS, and I came along and said it wasn't specific enough! :D I'm sorry about that!
Maybe if we turn this around, I can help you define your question for the next RfA: Can you think of an answer that would make you think, "Yes, that's what I was hoping to hear, I will support this candidate?" Or conversely, one that would make you think the opposite -- that you would oppose the candidate?
(The reason I ask is that unless you need to know the answer to this question before you can decide whether to support or oppose, it's probably not a question for RfA but instead should be discussed at some policy talk page.) —valereee (talk) 13:10, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Shadow4dark is an editor who opposed a topic ban on ThePharoah17 after I demanded one within the ArbCom Case on Kurds and Kurdistan for this edit and which was made in the ArbCom Case on Kurds and Kurdistan and where they for the record stated Kurdistan is a secular idea. It doesn't exist because it has no reason to exist. and in the same edit That's why there isn't really such thing as a Kurdish name. I thought it might be good to have it mentioned that they were a participant in the discussions of the case.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 23:59, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Paradise Chronicle, in this edit you added probably that his legal immunity was removed. Yesterday, his parliamentary membership was removed, not his legal immunity. see The 16. Criminal Court of the Court of Cassation (Turkey) has approved the imprisonment, then Presidency of Turkey, sent a proposal for the abolition of the status of this MP on Turkish parliament. And yesterday when the vice president of the parliament read the relevant proposal of the Presidency of Turkey, his MP right was removed. I suggest if you can edit at this point? Regards. Istanbul Convention

Hello again Paradise Chronicle. Thank you for your editing. President of Turkey took this decision on March 20, but Turkey have reported the General Secretariat on 22 March for this decision of withdrawal. full-list of signatures In order to withdraw from the contract, this decision must be reported to the Council of Europe. For example, ratification date for Turkey is 14 March 2012, but Turkish parliament has taken this ratification on 24 November 2011. ratification of Turkish parliament Also on 10 February 2012, the Turkish government decided to transmit this decision of the parliament to the president, and this approval of the parliament was accepted by the president and was published in the official gazette on 8 March 2012 [1]. Probably Turkey has reported to the Council this ratification on 14 March 2012. Dates accepted by the Council are entered to this template. I wonder if you can edit withdrawal date that way? Regards. Uncitoyen (talk) 12:37, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I can try to do so. I expanded on the ratification of the treaty at Women in Turkey. I also adapted my edits at the Istanbul Convention and I removed the withdrawal column for now as the process of withdrawal is still ongoing until the 1 July 2021. It can re-added at that date or a bit earlier with expected in parenthesis. Thank you for the trust. To have a Global Sysop with less than 400 edits in the English Wikipedia on my Talk Page twice within a few days is not something I was expecting.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 22:10, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I wanted to make a small edit for the withdrawal, but it was better to inform you. I specify my views on issues related to Turkey, I had nothing to do with global sysop rights. :) In the meantime, related legal cases have begun to be filed for the cancel of the decision on the grounds that it is against the law. After that, probably no much will change, but everytime nothing is clear for Turkey. Also, thank you for make your edits according my comments and the resources. Must see once

Hello @Paradise Chronicle:, I want to make Emiway Bantai. I tried once before to create an article Emiway Bantai (Indian rapper), but it was deleted, which probably would not have passed GNG at that time. Then I found a Machayenge article from Emiway on Wiki. When I checked that article, it turned out that it was created by CptViraj. He is also an NPR. When I talked to him about this, he said that he was previously associated with this subject. So now he does not want to make it. Then I saw their sandbox which was made to make User:CptViraj/sandbox/Emiway Bantai. Recently I have prepared an article on their sandbox. Therefore, I will ask you to review it. Since its main title is Protected by the Administrator, I will ask you to move it to Emiway. Must see once. Thank you 2402:3A80:10CA:7818:C024:C6CC:B8CC:5E1E (talk) 10:23, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the delay. I have made a short overview of the article in question, but I am not as experienced enough yet, to move it to draft space. Then also I am not experienced enough in the Indian rapper scene and I'd prefer someone with more knowledge on the topic has a look at it as well. The article seems to have enough sources though. Maybe you could ask at the WP:TEAHOUSE for some help, I received a lot of help there as well. And create an account? I hope this was an encouraging advice. Happy editing.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 16:13, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ched, Where did you see any support for one month block for the filer? Shrike (talk) 09:28, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Ched: I started looking at WP:AE due to a backlog report. I can see that Paradise Chronicle was criticized for various inappropriate behavior, but it seemed minor and not warranting a block. My reading of AE is that the admins commenting where saying the reported user needed a one-month block, not Paradise Chronicle. I see your above disclaimer that I can unblock if wanted, but I'll wait a while to see if you are available to let me know if there is something I'm missing. AANES disruption

Hi Paradise Chronicle. Regarding the disruption at AANES, if you don't get a robust enough response to your report at AN/3RR, or it gets archived without action, maybe it's better to file a report at AN/I or AE? They seem like more appropriate forums given the general battleground behaviour and whiff of meatpuppetry. I apologise for not filing something myself, but I'm really stretched for time at the moment. Jr8825Talk 00:11, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The fact was ... that Philip Kreyenbroek taught Iranian studies at the University of Göttingen due to his interest in Yazidi traditions and the fact that about half of the Yazidi diaspora lived in Germany at the time? Thank you for the scientist! He is also featured on Portal:Germany! Yesterday I had two interesting DYK (I think), and the day before was at a concert with Daniel Barenboim just playing piano, and afterwards he and the orchestra received last year's prize (pictured). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:55, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Those were interesting cultural DYKs. Inspiring. And good to know the Portal Germany has a DYK as well. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 20:28, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Atatürk's nationalism

Hi Paradise Chronicle. A recently-created article Atatürk's nationalism looks like an unnecessary pro-Turkish nationalist POV fork of Kemalism and Turkish nationalism to me, but I'm no expert on this area. Would you mind taking a quick look and offering a second opinion? Thanks. – Joe (talk) 06:21, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Joe, I was looking at it and the Nationalism section at Kemalism as to me is more on topic of Atatürks nationalism than the article Atatürk's Nationalism. I suggest to expand the Nationalism section in Kemalism much more before creating a new article on the subject. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 08:04, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

you likely undid my edit..please explain the logic.

hi, im just hoping you can explain why my edit was wrong and how the lineage currently in print makes any logical sense. i could totally be wrong here, and if i am i do hope to learn, but it seriously is really hard to wrap my mind around the way it stands. thanks.

ok I edited the page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrhidaeus

because i arrived there by starting at alexander the greats page, clicking on the link for his father phillip II, then from phillip II page i clicked on his father amyntas III, then from amyntas III page i clicked his father arrhidaeus....hopefully we can both agree that 3 fathers deep from a person would equate to their great grandfather...that being said, arrhideaus would be alexanders great grandfather.... however, the page for arrhidaeus has him listed as one of alexanders generals, it also states he was selected to return alexanders body when alexander died in 323BC...using the years listed throughout the lineage, in 323BC arrhidaeus would have been well over 100 years of age.

now i find a few things highly unlikely 1.)that alexander would have his grandfather as a general, not to mention his GREAT grandfather.. 2.)that arrhideaus was even still alive in 323BC (a 100+ year life span was prettymuch unheard of during those times) 3.)that even if this 100+ year old general and great grandfather of the king WAS in fact in the kings army, he would be one of the LAST people selected to shoulder the burden of bringing the deceased kings body back home.

Could you PLEASE explain to me why the history that is listed is correct.. if its not correct and it was my poor editing and poor wikietiquette, could you please let me know the correct way that it needs to be done.

but yeah, its just so completely far fetched it makes no sense at all..almost like there should be 2 people named arrhidaeus and the one thats currently linked would be his general and then a separate page linking to his great gandfather...can you please explain the logic or let me know somehow whats really going on there..if you check the talk page for arrhidaeus, im not the first person to notice things literally dont add up.

sorry to be a bother, i just feel like if it can be fixed, it probably should be fixed. thanks for your time either way it goes.

i appreciate any info you can share. Snarevox (talk) 06:18, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Snarevox, after you edited the Arrhidaeus article you left a large amount of text above and within the article pointing out there was a mistake. I first tried to understand and to fix it, but I was a bit slow and had low internet access these days. Today I took off the wikilink to Arrhidaeus at Amyntas III of Macedon. I hope your concern is addressed for now. If you feel there is a mistake again, do not hesitate to leave me a message. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 15:38, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

thank you!!!! i really do appreciate the fix. it made no sense and i know i left a buncha junk where it didnt belong but there were just too many little tidbits relating back to alexander for me to fix it without affecting more links that i had no business messing with. i never thought about simply removing the link from the previous page to essentially make it two separate arrhideaus'(s?). what you did was so simple yet simultaneously brilliant it actually kinda blows my mind. thanks again. im not super into punctuation as i hate cellphone keyboards. have a great day, and may you be blessed with free unlimited broadband for the resta your days!!!
