Dawn of the Black Hearts
It’s obvious by your commentary you have an issue with the album. However discogs lists the release as an album. As such, only a band itself decides what is or is not an album, it should remain. Mayhem is one of Black Metal’s big 5, the originals from the mid-80s still releasing today. And black metal, with all it’s sub genres inclusive, is one of the top selling genre groups world wide.
I’d argue the controversy and disputed CR status alone are reason for inclusion. The major volume of coverage the album has only increases the reasoning for coverage here.
I point out WINC and NPOV. The entire point of the cover was to be offensive. Something not unique to Mayhem or even metal. As the Beatles, Screaming Jay, and Big Little all had intentionally disagreeable covers. Lostinlodos (talk) 05:25, 1 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Avatar (band), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Heavy metal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A tuning moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, A tuning, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks/Hidden Tracks

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for correcting me on the Last Chance To Make Amends page. I never knew there was a December reissue, and I don't really know anything about it.
On that note, I was wondering if you happened to know what the two hidden tracks are and if you could add them to the page? Whatever the case, thanks for fixing that and have a good day.

Hi SirZPthundergod9001. I've returned this to a (slightly improved) redirect until it can be shown to meet WP:NALBUM - charts might do it, but evidence of significant critical coverage such as a number of reviews in reliable and independent sources would also work. ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 10:06, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Before the Dawn (band) into Rise of the Phoenix (Before the Dawn album). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:52, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Rapture (Betraying the Martyrs album), appears to be written in a promotional manner and should be submitted through the Articles for creation process. In particular, the claim to being "ultimate" is sourceable only to the band itself, and thus does not belong in a Wikipedia article. There may be other issues too.

Additionally, in compliance with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline, could you please disclose whether you have any relationship with Betraying the Martyrs or if you have been paid to contribute to this or any other Wikipedia article before editing the article further.

Hi SirZPthundergod9001. When you move pages like "Show Yourself" for diambiguation purposes, please check to make sure that there aren't any non-free files being used in the article. All non-free files are required to have separate specific non-free use rationales for each use; so, when you change the name of an article, the rationale also needs to be correspondingly changed to avoid problems like this. I caught this and re-added the file to the infobox, but non-free files which aren't being used in any articles can be speedily deleted per WP:F5 after five days. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:26, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Villain

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Villain (album) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Villain (Album). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Disruptive genre edits

There's nothing wrong with just using "rock" if "rock" is all you have the sourcing for. It's literally that simple. Judging by the number of warnings you've accumulated on this talk page, I imagine you need to worry less about your own views on genre, and just stick to adding whatever can be directly cited by reliable sources. It’s obvious by your commentary you have an issue with the album. However discogs lists the release as an album. As such, only a band itself decides what is or is not an album, it should remain.
