The Union of Communist Parties — Communist Party of the Soviet Union (Russian: Союз коммунистических партий — КПСС; СКП — КПСС; SKP — KPSS) is a group of communist parties in the former Soviet Union, comprising the:—
- Communist Party of the Russian Federation
- Communist Party of Ukraine
- Communist Party of Belarus
- Communist Party of Kazakhstan
- United Communist Party of Georgia
- Communist Party of South Ossetia
- Azerbaijan Communist Party
- Communist Party of Lithuania (banned in Lithuania)
- Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova
- Party of Communists of Kyrgyzstan
- Armenian Communist Party
Gennady Zyuganov is the organization's chairman, who replaced Oleg Shenin in 2001, who split off a part of the UCP—CPSU as the "Communist Party of the Soviet Union".
