::::::::I've requested it already, depending on how busy the poor bot is it should be along shortly to check the links. Saves you one less job :). AWB is quite easy to use once you get used to it. I use it quite a lot of the time mainly for checking grammar and spelling errors. I've been told that you can use it to replace templates etc as well and I think I've managed to work out how to do that. I was going to use it to replace the Neighbours infobox templates for the ex characters but I got told on Wednesday that I may be getting made redundant in June so kinda had other things on my mind. I will get around to them someday :) --[[User:5 albert square|5 albert square]] ([[User talk:5 albert square#top|talk]]) 22:59, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Hello 5 albert square, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari03:04, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, sorry for the late reply, I haven't logged on in ages. :)
As I understand it, weasel words are biased, subjective statements or phrases. When I originally read the article, I didn't think to look at the references given and was unaware that an already emotive tabloid-esque word was helpfully modified by you to help prevent copyright infringement and 'water-down' its strength; I initially assumed that sentence was a personal take on the circumstances (hence labelling it as a weasel term) surrounding the Scottish broadcast, and I apologise for not assuming good faith and not double checking that section (I don't actively go about editing articles, I usually read an article of interest and if there's a typo or something amiss, I can't help but try and change it, so sometimes I don't look through references).
The sign on my talk page about good faith was actually made by me and you can copy the following when editing your page if you want to use it: {{Wikipedia ads|ad=163}}
Ah and London these days is the same as always, busy, cold, wet, windy and expensive! I have no idea what the weather is usually like in Scotland, but when it snowed in February, everything ground to a halt in London and such a big fuss was made, just for a few feet of snow! :P I'd love to go to Scotland one day, just to get out of the hustle and bustle of London and experience something new, but like you, I love London, couldn't imagine any other place like it!. :D
Hi! That's ok, I think someone maybe took out the reference and didn't think to change the article to reflect it. Hey, me and some other users have been doing a load of work on The Bill recently to get it up to good article status. There is a fair amount of work that needs to be done, if you can help out please feel free to do so. It was once a good article, no reason why it can't be again with the right attention!
Dear 5 albert square, here is a little note to say thank you for your kind vote on my request for adminship which failed with a final result of (40/19/12).
Thank you for your participation in my RfA which I withdrew after concerns of my knowledge of policy. Special thanks are owed to Coffee, who defended me throughout and whom I cannot thank enough for the nomination; to 2over0 for being supportive and helpful; to A Stop at Willoughby for the thorough, thoughtful and articulate support rationale; to IP69.226.103.13 for maintaining composure and for a pleasant interaction on my talk page and, last but not least, to Juliancolton who was good enough to close the RfA at my request and, frankly, because an editor whom I respect so much found the time to support me! If the need for more admins at the main page is still apparent in a few months, I may try again. Thank you all for a relatively drama-free RfA and for providing me with much material from which to learn from my mistakes. You're all welcome to drop by my talk page any time. God save the Queen Wiki! HJMitchellYou rang? 20:22, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks :) I'm also going to send that to some of the other contributors who made a great contribution to getting Neighbours there, plus maybe give them a barnstar too to be nice :) --5 albert square (talk) 02:06, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Despite saying that I don't want to help bring another article up to GA status for a long while, I've decided to completely ignore myself. I'm going to try and get the Harold Bishop article up to GA status (maybe FA status one day). I think Harold was one of Neighbours' best characters and deserves to have a better article then he does now. I'm going to use the Pauline Fowler aticle as a guide to making the article better. If you can help in any way that would be great!
Oh, I saw your message on my talk page earlier. I'm glad that Dougie Swallow article was, eventually, deleted. I did laugh at the user who accused everyone of being sock puppets of each other. - JuneGloom07Talk? 17:33, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey. You might have seen that I've been going round editing the Neighbours character's infoboxes. I've been taking out all the unnecessary information, like whether a character is deceased. It just takes up room and users can click the link to see if the person is still alive or not (if there is a link). Also, the headings in the box say who the people are, like siblings, parents, children, it doesn't need to be explained in brackets next to the names. I think people can work out Libby is Karl's daughter if she's placed under the children heading for example, there's no need to have (daughter) next to her name.
Ah, okay. I'll remove it and wait to see if Perfectblend or Digital Spy report it instead. Perfectblend actually re-tweeted the post, so maybe they'll write it up and put it on their website. - JuneGloom07Talk? 00:49, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
AWB
Not sure if you knew this but you shouldn't really use AWB to make edits like this one. You might want to tick the box that says "skip if only whitespace is changed" or "skip if only genfixes". AnemoneProjectors (talk) 11:29, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, no I didn't know about that, I only got granted AWB a few days ago, I'm still trying to learn it. Thanks for telling me though. Is there anything else in particular that I should avoid? --5 albert square (talk) 20:46, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Neighbours characters
Hey, I spotted you've been editing/improving Callum and Sophie's pages. Well done on spotting that spelling error on Sophie's page. Dancy? lol. How'd I miss that? I'm working on Paul's article at the moment, I'm trying to sort through and edit the information and add references. Did you see the vandalism on Rebecca's page this morning? Someone added that she was going to have an affair with Paul's teenage son, Andrew. - JuneGloom07Talk? 20:02, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, you didn't miss it, I misspelt dance when I added it before! Anyway I was going to message you later, I'm going to put together an article for the Lassiters complex including places like Charlie's Bar, Lassiters Hotel and the General Store. Can you remember if there are any other buildings in the complex? Also, apart from the gas leak explosion at the site that is now Charlies, can you think of any notable storylines that have happened there? --5 albert square (talk) 20:11, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That a great idea! There's Karl's ex-doctor's surgery, which is now Toadie's law offices. Though I haven't seen Toadie use it for ages, so I don't know if he still owns it. Steve Parker's veterinary sugery was in the place that used to be the hair salon, where Lyn worked. I read in the forums on Perfectblend that the place was going to be turned into something else this year, not sure what though. The only notable storyline that I can remember was the 2004 fire that Paul started, which destroyed the complex. - JuneGloom07Talk? 20:58, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, 5 albert square,
I have reverted your change on Max Tyler because Wikipedia does not have strict rules. Also, there may be a Wikipedia:Waterloo Road WikiProjet started soon and you might want to discuss your reasons. If EastEnders WikiProject follow that rule they don't have to impose it on another WikiProject. Just to let you know, but I appreciate your viewpoint and where your coming from. Do talk to me about it, though because we have parallel views.

Hi, can you have a look at the edits made to the Neighbours page today. A user added what times and regions Neighbours used to be shown in, however the information (and the same ref) is already there just explained differently. The Sydney market is the most important, which is why it is mentioned, but in the following sentence it is said that the show's transmission in other areas was varied. So, I think the information added is repeating what is already there. I just wanted a different view on it, incase I'd got it wrong. Thanks! - JuneGloom07Talk? 12:09, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, have looked at it and reverted all todays edits because I really didn't understand most of them! The only thing I re-added was the info on Tom Oliver. Am so glad someone added that to Wikipedia, I watched the ABBA film earlier on, I KNEW that was him! You do know that now I've found that out I'm never ever taping over that film?! --5 albert square (talk) 19:33, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me butting in here, but the edits look like good faith- I checked when June brought it up, that's why I didn't revert. That doesn't mean they're correct, but it might be an idea to contact the editor(s) who added it and ask them about it. Best, HJMitchellYou rang? 19:39, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi HJ, I've done that but the editor isn't a regular contributor, sometimes months between edits so I don't know that we'll get a reply any time soon. I've contacted them explaining why I reverted, I hope that's ok --5 albert square (talk) 19:46, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for having a look. I wasn't sure if it was just me who couldn't make sense of the edits. I haven't seen the ABBA film, but think I'll have to take a look now. :) - JuneGloom07Talk? 20:56, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome, I got confused, in one sentence it seemed to say that Brisbane transmitted at 6.30 and then in another I think it said at 7pm? And I doubt very much that Brisbane show episodes back to back! Oh yes, Tom Oliver was in the ABBA film from the 70s, he played their bodyguard, as a matter of fact I'm re-watching it as I'm typing this and he just re-appeared on my screen! You can see the trailer here he appears at 0.55 and then at 2.28, he's really quite good in it --5 albert square (talk) 21:07, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the trailer, Tom was looking good there. Quick question, do you remember when Rebecca proposed to Paul in a hospital room? Was is it after Bridget had given birth? I'm having trouble remembering. - JuneGloom07Talk? 21:19, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. I'm sure that Rebecca proposed to Paul after the birth. I'm sure I remember Paul holding India at the time and he was so shocked I was surprised he didn't drop poor India! --5 albert square (talk) 21:28, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh dear, TV Week magazine has just released it's new cover on it's website telling everyone which Neighbours character is pregnant. I've already had to revert edits that mentioned this within two articles (I'm trying not to ruin the storyline for you here, I don't know if you know or want to know what happens in the new season), I reckon we'll be reverting similar edits over the next few days now. - JuneGloom07Talk? 23:35, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, we could've added it if it had aired in Australia, but if it's not even aired there then we can't put it on here until that happens. Seriously though, ANOTHER baby? That's like the 4th pregnancy within 12 months! First Didge, then Libby, then Susan now this 4th one? There must be something in the water at Ramsay Street if they're all at it! No wonder they're having to make radical changes to Lassiters over February, my guess is a creche is needed! By the way, guess who's got her own page now? Susan Bower! --5 albert square (talk) 23:44, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The storyline hasn't aired yet, it was mentioned in the trailer for 2010. I think you're right about it being the 4th pregnancy. Love the creche comment! They'll certainly be needing one soon. I saw Susan's page just after I left you the message. I found a little info and a ref for you to use, feel free to change what I added in anyway though. - JuneGloom07Talk? 23:53, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
DYK for Susan Bower
On January 17, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Susan Bower, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
Ha, no I didn't see it, I think it went up this morning and at 6am this morning I was still in the land of nod! Totally different subject, but do you know when Scott and Charlene's wedding screened in Australia and the UK? It's just I'm sure that I remember reading somewhere that it got the highest ever ratings or something? Was thinking on the anniversary we might be able to get Neighbours another mention on the front page under the On This Day section?
There's a reference I used in the Neighbours article that had the ratings and possibly the date for the wedding, I just have to remember which one it is. Thank you for the DYK medal, I shall return the favour in a minute once I've found that ref. - JuneGloom07Talk? 19:47, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I couldn't find it for a minute there, [1]. That has the ratings and the year it was shown here so I had a look on Neighboursepisodes.com for the full dates; The Australian airdate was 1st July 1987 and the UK airdate was 8th November 1988.
Could you have a look at 86.148.236.199's edits to some of The Bill's pages? I'm not an expert on the show, so I don't want to revert anything that could be true. Though the user has added many edits to soap opera pages today that have been unsourced and disruptive. - JuneGloom07Talk? 21:48, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that, I reverted them and I just went straight to AIV to report the user. The amount of edits that they've made today that are disruptive are unreal. Hopefully they'll block him, if not I'll then issue him with a final warning for his disruptive edits to The Bill's character pages. Zain Nadir was a male policeman and left the series in 2007, so no way can he be a current character portrayed by a female! --5 albert square (talk) 22:31, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If you ever see something like that which is a clear-cut attack, by all means feel free to blank it, report it and add the {{subst:Courtesy blanked}} template which will resolve as this:
LOL, nothing is wrong with Twinkle, just Huggle is quicker sometimes. Am up at ten to five cos I woke up early and can't get back to sleep! As I'm due to leave for work in a couple of hours I just decided to get up. I'm also trying to work out what the hell my set top box is all about. Earlier it decided to move all my channels into the 800 and 900 ranges, mix them all up into a totally random formation and remove UK Gold and Virgin 1. Now, without me doing anything, it's just put them all back in the correct order and restored UK Gold and Virgin 1! Man, I'd love to understand the reasoning behind all that! --5 albert square (talk) 05:04, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not if you're vandalising because Wikipedia is not here to be vandalised. If you keep on vandalising you will only get yourself blocked from editing. Edit constructively please :) --5 albert square (talk) 09:41, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey. You work on Neighbours articles quite a bit. But... your recent edit revisions on Rebecca Robinson's page didn't help. Declan's father is known because it was a massive storyline for for all characters involved. Declan never knew his father, but when Paul was proved not to be Oliver's father and her evil evil ex Richard Aaronow was, she also revealed that he was Declan's father after he sexually assaulted her, then she took him to court after all those years, but it came to nothing really when he was admitted to hospital with kidney failure... then died. Source.... I watched it. I'm sure with a little research they're are plenty of sources that can back it up. Just filling you in because you seemed to not know when it was revealed, as stated in one of your edit summaries on the page. Raintheone (talk) 23:56, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, yes I remember it vaguely but the trouble is all the sources I can find that comply with WP:RS all simply state that it was heavily implied that he is Declan's dad. None of them stated that he is definitely Declan's dad. Unfortunately I can't reference myself and say that I watched the episode and that is the proof as that would count as WP:OR. Trust me, I'm not new to editing and I know what is counted and what isn't counted as being a reliable source as I spent long enough getting The Bill and Neighbours up to good article status and I know that anything that can't be properly referenced either can't be in the article or has to have a citation template. I can't find anything that complies with WP:RS to state that he is Declan's dad so I've now put a citation template in it's place :) --5 albert square (talk) 00:27, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I guessed you weren't new to editing. I've edited it a little, I'll kick it into shape. TBH these articles need doing asap or they'll become the victim of a mass delete like Home and away's articles were. They need to be reading like Pauline Fowler really...... The Bill... good luck with that, that is a hard set of articles to get up to scratch. :P
You generally have to refresh the page when viewing a image you have viewed before, after an image has been edited, because the new version still fits the old image's resolution until it you refresh your browser.. can you crop and reduce the image then, there is way to much background to her... fictional character profile images generally are crooped, reduced to fit, and are portrait. All Neighbours ones are like looked at a panoramic view of NYC. :P Hows the editing going on other Neighbours articles? Raintheone (talk) 01:01, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, sorry I didn't realise that, I've just reverted back to the version that you had. It was strange at first, still looked the same and after I refreshed it I got the top half of her face only (???!!!) but it's ok now :). I've not been doing anything much on the Neighbours articles tonight apart from correcting someone who thought that Libby separated from Dan in 2010, I'm sure Libby thought it was 2009. I'm not doing too much on the Neighbours articles at the moment, I'm really concentrating on trying to get Inspector Dale Smith (The Bill) up to GA standard, hopefully at some stage this year. That article is going to be a complete project on it's own, have you seen the length of it? And NO references! --5 albert square (talk) 01:12, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just so you know, if someone blanks a page they created, removing the CSD template with it, it's usually customary to retag as G7 rather than reverting. Unless of course, they just removed the template itself without blanking the page, which is a time to revert and warn. Just a tip. Thanks, ♠00:49, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Thanks for the tip. Yeah, I wasn't sure if they were trying to vandalise by removing the template or if they genuinely wanted their page blanked. Normally when I revert stuff like that Huggle asks me if I want to request deletion instead but for some reason it didn't this time.
By the way, when you're responding to messages on a talk page using Huggle, how the heck do you reply without it blanking your page?! I thought I'd be smart and cool and try that the other day and I blanked my talk page! --5 albert square (talk) 00:54, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Inspector Dale Smith - refs
Glad you got the image thing resolved, I have learned i have to sort the cache thing so it's all good. Ahh I see, well Smithy is notable so there for needs this work you are going to do, and no doubt you will achieve good article status for his character. You mentioned no references, I know what a pain that is so I've search through some refs and picked out the best ones that offer info. I'm going to strech your page a little so don't be mad at me lol. Hopefully with all of these collected in one go you can have a better start point with the ref problem. I'd reckon you are already condensing the storylines down so I won't tamper with that. But yeah if you haven't already collected refs I hope these do help you. They start here. (I apologize for my bad grammar.)
In this interview with OK! magazine Alex discusses his character's romance with stevie, the gun point storyline, and his characters personality. link here
An interview with Alex from 'this morning' don't know how much use it will be. It's a youtube video, just have to cite the video with the correct info. video here ... The interview is here aswell might be better from the ITV website, but the ITV player has a habbit of not working, lol... itv article
The yr 2000 cast clear out, including smithy, BBC news. here
info on filming of the gun hostage storyline here... alot of which can be used for Gina Golds article.
This is a good one for casting info, about how he played a bit character then got offered a role... talks about his character too.. The Northern Echo article here lot of other info too.
maybe some info can be drawn out from the news section of [2]
artlce says a little bit about his and smithy's scenes were hard to film] .. might be able to add that to storyline section. ore info on the scenes here
The Daily Telegraph, Australia interview Alex. here

video interview on the gang culture special where he discussess the emotional side of the filming and how the storyline he was involved with relates to real life. interview and video here
aother gun scare for smithy here. .. I think it's worth mentioning in the article therefore that he has been held at gun point so many times over the years, and had to shoot people, even by accident... that screams notability.
So yeah, some episode guides, but quite a bit on creation and development of the character. Damn though, I haven't seen the bill in ages. I remember when it was Kerry, Luke, Craig and them and they hardly did any police work just getting into lovers tiffs and the likes.RAIN the ONE(Talk)04:19, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I see you reverted the deletion of the PROD template here in Athenaeum, BBlessing. Actually, removing the PROD template is permissible, see WP:PROD. Ideally, the removal should be accompanied by a talk page or edit summary commentary explaining the basis for deleting the PROD, but still, removing it is okay; that's how a PROD is contested. Your edit summary suggests that you were thinking this was in WP:AFD. You're right, those should not be removed; but removing a PROD is okay.
I say this as the guy who PRODded the article in the first place, and who still believes it is not notable. I'm going to give the guy a chance to prove me wrong, and hold off for a few days before bringing it to AFD (assuming someone else doesn't take it to AFD first). TJRC (talk) 16:12, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Since I'm stalking your talk page I'll chime in here! Any editor can remove a speedy deletion tag from a page you didn't create yourself. Any editor can remove a PROD from any article (they should but are no required to provide a rationale). Nobody should remove an AfD tag from an article that is at AfD (except the closer if the result is "keep"). If somebody removes a PROD, you or any other editor is perfectly within their rights to list at AfD but not to re-PROD. Hope that helps! On February 4, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Lynn Bayonas, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
Thanks! Was starting to wonder when it was going to appear myself. Whereas Susan Bower seemed to spend a few days being prepared for the front page, I think Lynn Bayonas just bypassed all that and went straight to front page lol --5 albert square (talk) 01:25, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can give you my trick :-) First, I start with Huggle and do fast cleaning. Each and every time I reverse something in Huggle, I click the button for opening the page containing my edit in the browser (should I re-fix the same article later, I do not re-open it in the browser). I return straight to Huggle and continue for a while. After a moment, I close Huggle and go to my browser. I go down in the history of the first article and search for what looks like a few good faith edits and compare it with my own. If I find more vandalism, I fix it with Twinkle. When happy, I move to the next tab. This way, you have the quick response of Huggle and the deep investigation of Twinkle at the same time. This also gives me the opportunity to fix less obvious vandalism. If I'm not sure should I reverse this or not, I just open it in the browser and will review it during the second stage. Have fun, Heracles31 (talk) 23:12, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I made a change to the entry on Pablo Escobar not to add content but because it is an incomplete sentence. Escobar is not just "well-known to...", a person is well-known for SOMETHING, some quality. People are well-known for their talent or their money or their good taste or an important job. You can finish this sentence however you want but to just say someone is well-known without saying what they are well-known FOR, is an incomplete thought and begs the question, why are they well-known? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.193.247.210 (talk) 23:03, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, just wanted to say it wasn't necessary to add a reference to Alfie Moon in the lead section because the fact that he is returning was already referenced in the main text of the article. But aside from that, it's not necessary to add "language=English" to citations; it's only necessary if it's not in English as this is English Wikipedia. Also, date formats like "07.02.10" are confusing as it could mean 7 February 2010, 2 July 2010 or even 10 February 2007 depending on how you look at it. Thought I'd mention it becasuse I've seen you add citations that way before. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:05, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Anemone
Sorry about that, I actually added the reference and then realised that it was mentioned elsewhere already. As for the language, I didn't realise that wasn't necessary and the date format I will try and remember to make it clearer in the future. Sorry :) --5 albert square (talk) 21:16, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What is with all the vandalism to the EE pages tonight, especially Kat and Alfie Moons! By the way did you see that someone kept trying to vandalise one of your subpages the other day? Kept trying to add characters like Courtney Mitchell as returning. Much as I would love Courtney to return, it's highly unlikely without her dad --5 albert square (talk) 00:02, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I saw that. It must have been the same person who keeps adding fake characters to the 2010 characters page, and saying that Saeed Jeffery is returning and all that kind of shit. I protected that page in my userspace to stop them doing it. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 01:10, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Either that, or someone has wishful thinking :). I didn't realise you were online, I've asked for Kat and Alfie's pages to be protected because of excessive vandalism. I know that Alfie's return to EastEnders has apparently been confirmed by the BBC, but god only knows why people want to vandalise the page. Even the BBC's page got vandalised tonight --5 albert square (talk) 01:19, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I was waiting for the pages to be vandalised again before protecting them since that IP has been blocked and if we're lucky it's one of those IPs that doesn't change, but if they do come back then it means blocking wouldn't stop them and then I was ready to protect. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 01:28, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your insights. I guess I'm still a little too new to this and don't know all of the protocol and procedures. It won't happen again, I promise. I looked on the editing help page and followed what it said. I guess I missed some information. I was just trying to work things out, next time I'll ask for help and bring it up on the discussion forum.
Haha you have to be quicker than that :p! I've just requested semi-protection of the page, I took one look at the page history which I do every time I revert vandalism and thought 'nope, off to WP:RPP you pop' lol --5 albert square (talk) 22:36, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Neighbours cast
Evening. Have you seen the latest edit to the cast page? Someone moved Summer up the list (I always thought that new characters were added to the bottom) and changed the hidden comment. I just wanted a second opinion incase I reverted the edit and I was wrong. Btw, where are you going on holiday? - JuneGloom07Talk? 22:29, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ha, yeh I reckon you're in the right.
I'm just off to London for a couple of nights. Travelling down by coach on Wednesday night, get in quarter to 7 Thursday morning, leave 7pm Saturday night lol. --5 albert square (talk) 22:33, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I hate it when you want to undo an edit, but don't have enough room in the box to explain why you did it. I'll have to try and shorten my reason down. I haven't been to London for ages, I hope you have a good time. :) - JuneGloom07Talk? 22:42, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Evening, how was your break? I've replied to your question on Rebecca's article. Her article isn't the only one that needs updating. Zeke, Toadie, Sophie, Donna and Harry's articles are just a few I can think of right now. - JuneGloom07Talk? 19:34, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The list of current characters is fooling readers into thinking Andrew and Summer are new creations. What should we all do about it? The character's should be in order of first appearance IMO. .. previous actors listed. Like Here with Eastenders. What do you think? RAIN the ONE(Talk)04:46, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for butting in, but Summer and Andrew are being played by new actors therefore the duration of the characters applies to the new actor as far as I can tell. That's the way it's been done for a while. Ben and Charlie were played by different actors and have been in the show longer then it says in the box. When readers click on the link to the character they can see they were in the show before, I guess. - JuneGloom07Talk? 13:06, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
To be honest, I'm actually in favour of the deletion. There's really not much point to the article as all it does is list the students there! I don't think it's notable enough to be an article on it's own. Erinsborough High is in the main article about Lassiters I think, I'd be concerned if they were deleting that! --5 albert square (talk) 22:00, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are right. I think in the opener it should state that they are in list order of the duration the actor has being portraying the character. At the moment it styled as character duration rather than actor in the opening lines of the acrticle. That's all. I think that was why people keep editing it. RAIN the ONE(Talk)17:33, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah that seems a good idea. It's just so everyone knows, plus might save us a lot of trouble in a edit war with those who want to move Summer and co, up the list. RAIN the ONE(Talk)09:54, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I just attempted to push it through (with the help of other editors). I felt the argument of it being a "low-audience hook" and it wasn't a good hook because it wasn't within the U.S was nonsense. I argued that if it meets the notability guidelines then it is perfectly fine. I just thought you would have liked to comment on the issue. Thanks. --Brian Halvorsen (talk) 20:47, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Dannii Minogue GA Sweeps: On Hold
I have reviewed Dannii Minogue for GA Sweeps to determine if it still qualifies as a Good Article. In reviewing the article I have found several issues, which I have detailed here. Since you are a main contributor of the article (determined based on this tool), I figured you would be interested in contributing to further improve the article. Please comment there to help the article maintain its GA status. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. --Happy editing! You're welcome :). From what I can remember, I don't think I reported this user to WP:AIV at all, I think when Huggle came across his edits he was already blocked. But from what I could see of his edits that Huggle came across they appeared to be nothing but disruptive and vandalism so I thought people might like help in reverting them :) I hope they don't, but I get the feeling the user will simply set up another sock --5 albert square (talk) 07:05, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You wrote a decent summary of the latest Simpsons episode, but I believe its length to be excessive. Keeping in line with previous summaries of Simpsons episodes, I edited it down. It's not a stab at your skill as a writer, but in the interest in keeping things concise. Thanks.
Oliviadimangano (talk)
I'm sorry but I think you've sent this message to the wrong person. I have never ever written episode summaries for The Simpsons? I did revert something for an article before, I THINK it may have been called The Color Yellow but I'm not 100% sure, in any case I reverted it because there was no reason stated for removal of content so it was seen as vandalism and the offending IP was appropriately warned about removing content and not stating why it was removed. Other than that I've only ever reverted vandalism to the Ned Flanders page today. Sorry you have the wrong person --5 albert square (talk) 07:48, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize! Your user name was in the "history" for edits on that page, which led me to believe you were the author. Sorry again and best wishes. Oliviadimangano (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:01, 25 February 2010 (UTC).[reply]
You're welcome, I didn't realise you were online at first but then thought you could maybe use an extra pair of hands dealing with this person. I don't think they realise though that by doing this all they are doing is building up their list of offences, which will just lead to a longer ban as they have been reported! --5 albert square (talk) 07:48, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome :) from what I can see the person that was vandalising your page has now been blocked indefinitely. Hopefully they won't turn into a sock! --5 albert square (talk) 10:48, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've updated the article with recent events and I've also merged a few of the sections as some of them were only one sentence long. I think the article needs to go through a big trim, if you have the time would you take a look at it?
I've just updated Kate's article too, it's so up to date readers will have to read Aussie spoilers to find out what happens next. Have you seen the new sets? [3], looks exciting. :) - JuneGloom07Talk? 23:03, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Good evening, how are you? I updated Kate's article a little bit more today and I've added two newly announced cast members to the cast page. It seems the school is getting a new Principal finally and another teen to join Andrew, Summer and Harry. - JuneGloom07Talk? 00:41, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Random question. Can you remember if a character called Scott 'Griffo' Griffin has been in Neighbours before? He's a teen around the same age as Harry, bit of a bully. - JuneGloom07Talk? 20:20, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, it could be him. I thought I'd seen him before, but I couldn't remember if he first appeared in 2009 or not. Thank you. I've been working on something similar to List of EastEnders characters (2010) this evening. The 2010 episodes have been easy to go through since there's only been 34 of them shown so far. 2009 will be a bit of a pain, but quite a few characters were introduced that had an impact on the regular characters, such as Sonya Mitchell, Saffron Jankievicz and baby India. I think it'll be good to have the list of characters from the years, though I'm not proposing we go back as far as EastEnders. I don't fancy having to look up characters from 1985, but what do you think? Good or bad idea?
Hi, yeah that sounds like a good idea as long as there's not a similar article already. No I've not heard that Janae is returning though I won't mind if that's true! --5 albert square (talk) 23:52, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't found a similar article that lists the characters by their first appearance. I'll create the article tomorrow once I've finished tweaking it. If Janae was to return what or who would it be for? I don't think she has any connections to the street anymore. - JuneGloom07Talk? 00:00, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see why Janae would return. I don't think she has any relations left there and she doesn't own the garage anymore. Still, this is the soap that brought Harold back from the dead, so I suppose anything can happen --5 albert square (talk) 03:32, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I was just wondering if we should mention that Neighbours has created Twitter accounts for four of it's characters in the main article? According to this article, "Neighbours has become the first Australian series to establish Twitter accounts for characters and one of the first in the world". - JuneGloom07Talk? 19:42, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ha ha, I think it's a good idea. The producers have set them up, so fans can interact further with the characters. I've had a reply from one of them, it made my day, lol. - JuneGloom07Talk? 20:15, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It wouldn't be using Twitter as a source, so WP:TWITTER doesn't apply. I'd say it's worth mentioning. Lots of fictional characters have Twitter accounts, but are mostly run by fans (lots of EastEnders ones). Some shows like Girl Number 9 used Twitter as a form of viral advertising by having the characters interact on Twitter before the series started. It's fun :) anemoneprojectorstalk01:19, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
hello there, I've been trying to remove the Christian Audigier page because it contains incorrect information, not to mention slanderous comments, ie "Deuches" and a lot of other innappropriate statements. His birthday is wrong, his place of birth and overall summary is awful. I work in marketing at Ed Hardy corporate, and my responsibility and focus is to maintain a proper on-line presence. Legal has asked me to get involved in this or they will. Please make sure you remove and keep the wiki page removed until we upload a new bio and ref info.
Thought I'd let you know that oversighting and suppression refers to removing personal details (i.e. that guy's email and stuff) and the comment on WP:ANI wasn't directed at you, but I think, at the person you requested suppression :) That's why the edit history of this page has deleted revisions that even admins can't view. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:59, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ah thanks for that Anemone, I was really thinking the comment was aimed at me :)
Please don't revert
Hi,
Please don't revert the content on the following page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Kphunter/d2lnotes.
I would like the page deleted if possible, but if that's not possible I'm fine with it being left in the page history.
Thanks,
I know that you are a rollbacker and probably know this already, but I can't help but noticing that you are editing whole pages and not relevant sections. Next to each section, there is a [edit] link (on right side of page level with section name)which allows you to edit that section only. It also shows the section you edited in the history. For example, the section edit for the section you were editing on WP:VPT is this. Thanks. ManishEarthTalk • Stalk15:07, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're meaning?
I use the Modern skin because it's the only one I can work comfortably with.
I don't have anywhere on any of the pages that says "edit" beside the sections?
Nothing to do with VPT (I used it as an example). The feature's there in modern too.
Continuing the example on VPT, this is what the edit button should look like: (see first image). When you edit a section, only the contents of the section are edited, instead of the whole page (Then you don't have to scroll everywhere). Also, in the history, the section which you edited is shown. This is useful when you want to know if the section which you are interested in was edited. (see second image)--same link as above.
Also, if you want to say that "You have a new message at my talk page", It's easier and much quicker to type {{tb|(your username here)}}. It gives a message like this:
Hello, 5 albert square. You have new messages at Example's talk page. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Sorry but the first image isn't displaying when I click on either link? And I'm definitely not getting any edit button. I've looked at pages using both Firefox and through Huggle and I can guarantee that I'm not seeing anything that allows me to edit sections only. Sorry, but I didn't realise I was doing wrong by not doing this.
Maybe I disabled it then but I don't remember doing so. In any case I do tend to edit articles as a whole because quite often I edit more than one section at a time. Like the complete re-write I'm doing just now to Callum Stone because somebody has thought to basically copy and paste half the article word-for-word from The Bill Bios or from various other articles :) --5 albert square (talk) 21:47, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I was going to suggest something like that. Julio - I actually reverted your edit because I couldn't understand what you'd put in the edit summary, and with the information vanishing off pages it looked like vandalism. I would suggest that you look into Google Translate, you also may find that other editors will revert your edits if they don't understand the edit summary :)
Thanks for changing my headings Anemone. By the way Anemone, an edit made to Declan Napier last night claimed that Steve McFadden plays India Napier in Neighbours! I had to do a double-take when I read that and couldn't stop laughing - India Napier is a 6 month old baby girl! --5 albert square (talk) 00:09, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
recent edit
Hi,
I got this message from you. Can you tell me what exactly I did? I'm just getting the hang of this and didn't mean to cause any problems.
thanks

---original message----
The recent edit you made to Zen yoga constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to remove content from articles without explanation. Thank you. 5 albert square (talk) 01:08, 5 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yogainfo (talk • contribs)
Hi, yes the edit looked like you'd removed the sources section without stating why. However I've looked at it again and I can now see that you only changed the heading of the section so I've reverted my edit. Apologies :) --5 albert square (talk) 01:20, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Anemone, no I don't mind you calling me 5 :), yes I think I did get the diffs muddled up. I think Huggle also got confused in the edit, when I click on the recent edits link on the users talk page it shows me the differences between two edits the user made. It should be showing my reversion and the edit I reverted! Second time tonight it's done that :) --5 albert square (talk) 01:30, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, 5 albert square. You have new messages at Alzarian16's talk page. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
I couldn't get it to work the first time I tried. You need to completely replace the old box, once you've transfered the info over, with the new one. I've added a copy of the template I'm using in my sandbox, you can just copy it and start using it. - JuneGloom07Talk? 13:18, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ha ha, you've done it now! Just delete the unnecessary (step son) notes after the names as the section tells you what they are. But I'm sure you've spotted that already. :) - JuneGloom07Talk? 13:22, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I figured it out now, used Rebecca as a guinea pig :). Now about to attempt Callum Jones, then Declan. By the way I suggest that we only really change it for those that have a main page. So for example India Napier won't need changing as she's only counted on here as a minor character. It's just if we do it for every single character it'll be never ending! --5 albert square (talk) 13:36, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm going to upload the cast lists I've been working on soon, so I'll have to change all of the infoboxes over. I've done 2010 and almost finished 2009. - JuneGloom07Talk? 14:49, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
All the current cast boxes have now been updated. Anemoneprojectors has suggested you can use AWB to help replace the others that are left, so if you get bored of fighting the vandals... :) - JuneGloom07Talk? 22:40, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(undent) Make a list of articles within the Neighbours characters category. Use find and replace to replace the name of the infobox, and then any other changes that need to be made can be done manually in the AWB edit box before saving. If a particular field has changed name, you can use find and replace to change them all at the same time. But stuff like parents being split into mother and father would have to be done manually. Let me know if you need more help. anemoneprojectorstalk23:02, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, I'm still not understanding. Sorry but still fairly new to AWB, not really used it for anything other than spell checking etc.
I don't seem to have anything under any of my menu options that says find and replace? Also how do I find the name of an infobox?
Also, wouldn't I have to do it manually as the information will differ from character to character? If I did, doing 25 years worth is going to take forever --5 albert square (talk) 23:21, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The "options" tab has a box saying "find and replace". Tick "enabled" and then click "normal settings". Then you would ask it to find "Infobox soap character" and replace it with "Infobox Neighbours character" (without the quotes). After the page loads it'll show you the change. Then before clicking save, you can go to the edit box and make further changes manually. I don't mind helping. anemoneprojectorstalk23:33, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For example, I just did Caroline Alessi. Basically, the name of the infobox was changed automatically and then I did the rest manually within AWB. I think it's easier as you don't have to keep clicking on each article - the next one just loads automatically when you're done. You don't have to do it that way if you don't want to though. anemoneprojectorstalk23:40, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, found the find and replace box now. I'll try and get this done next weekend. Sorry but I start a new job tomorrow so not sure what time I'll have before then :). Anemone, do you do categories the same way? I think I noticed you updating categories to some of the EastEnders pages earlier using AWB but I've never been able to work out how to do that either! --5 albert square (talk) 23:40, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can easily to the obvious changes but if there's information that needs to be added like creators or introducers I won't have a clue about that :) Categories? Well today I've been using AWB to remove "minor" since we moved the lists of minor EastEnders characters to Lists of EastEnders characters. I just did "what links here" for the 25 "list of minor..." redirects. You can do stuff with categories too. Like, if you look under "more..." you can replace categories or rename files. It's not just for spelling :) anemoneprojectorstalk23:44, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The only characters that have the infoboxes are the ones who have their own pages as far as I know. I've been working on something similar to EastEnders' list of characters by year in my sandbox and I've changed those infoboxes already. - JuneGloom07Talk? 23:43, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's cool then. By the way, I noticed the old infoboxes include "age", "cause" and "romances" which aren't in the new one as it was based on the EastEnders one. Would you like them re-added? anemoneprojectorstalk23:47, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Surely most of the important romances should be listed in the article. Some characters, like Paul Robinson, have had quite a number of romances, so the box will be quite long. I'm not bothered if it's added back though. I think the {{birth date and age|1991|10|25|df=y}} template has replaced the need for the "age" section and causes of departure would be mentioned in departure section of the character article. - JuneGloom07Talk? 23:57, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've done it but I note that the age parameter was removed from the original soap infobox anyway. I've noticed a few other things that can be found and replaced on AWB... "image1" with "image", "|series=Neighbours" replace with nothing, "|colour=...." replace with nothing. All helps speed up the process :) anemoneprojectorstalk00:03, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The EastEnders infobox template has also been proposed for deletion. What a mess. I was really happy when I saw we had new boxes, not so happy now. I might ask round a couple of other editors who I've seen at the Neighbours character pages to see if they think the new boxes are a good idea and if they would consider lending their support. - JuneGloom07Talk? 21:15, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Forget that idea, I've just realised that every character page has a note above the infobox. So, I'm sure any other editors will see it. - JuneGloom07Talk? 21:32, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hollyoaks has its own one too, so I'm guessing that might be the next one. It's quite clear that the current soap opera infobox template isn't good enough and that's why new, seperate templates are being created. - JuneGloom07Talk? 21:45, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Have you heard about the police being called to the Neighbours set? [5] Also, do you think we should redirect Grease Monkeys to the Erinsborough article? It has no references and I don't see why it should have a seperate article, as it is no longer featured in the show. The image can be added to the Erinsborough article too as it's free. I've recently updated, improved and added some references to the Erinsborough article, so it's looking a lot better then it did. - JuneGloom07Talk? 17:05, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, no I haven't heard about that though it's likely to be true if it's on Digital Spy. Yes the Grease Monkeys and Erinsborough articles should be merged --5 albert square (talk) 20:30, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm keep trying to work out who the extra is. I'll redirect the Grease Monkeys article now. Oh, Karl Kennedy has returned to work at the hospital following a health scare and a desire to expose the hospital board. Do you want to update his article? - JuneGloom07Talk? 20:55, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, I didn't realise that Karl had returned to the hospital, I watch UK pace not Australia pace, and even UK pace I haven't watched for a few weeks! --5 albert square (talk) 21:04, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, I forgot you don't watch at Australian pace. I updated Karl's article earlier today. I was reading about the police being called to the Neighbours set today in The Sun, and read that the extra has been on the show for 12 years. I took a look at the Recurring characters section and I think I've worked out who it is. I hope she get better soon. - JuneGloom07Talk? 23:40, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think I've worked it out too from that. I've now added a couple of sentences about this to the Neighbours article under the history section. I wasn't going to before because when I first heard about it it sounded like maybe a couple of glasses had been smashed but that was it, and that's not really encyclopedic enough to merit a mention. However now it looks like it was something bigger and Neighbours have majorly played down the incident so I've added a couple of sentences. Not named her though as we can't reference it --5 albert square (talk) 01:24, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Evening. I'm guessing you've seen the editor that has been removing info from the infoboxes of Declan and Oliver Barnes articles. Now that Rebecca has married Paul, his sons and daughters would now be Declan and Oliver's step brothers and sisters, right? Or have I got that completely wrong? - JuneGloom07Talk? 23:47, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, you're right, Elle etc would now be a stepsister or stepbrother to Dec and Oliver. That's why I don't understand why the edits are being reverted, ok they're not blood brothers and sisters but they're still family! Well, I could my stepbrother as being my family :/. I've asked on their talk page why they think Elle etc can't be counted as family but so far the anonymous IP hasn't replied. I don't want to edit it again in case it looks like I'm trying to start up some form of edit war which I ain't! --5 albert square (talk) 23:59, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't want to edit it either! Lol. I saw another editor reverted the edits earlier, so it isn't just us that thinks the removal is wrong. - JuneGloom07Talk? 00:09, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Checking for dab links
Hi, I noticed that you asked how to get WildBot to check an article for links to dab pages. I thought I'd point out, in case you're unaware of it, that there's also a tool which will do this for you: http://toolserver.org/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py
Oh, I didn't know about that tool, thanks for that! I've requested that WildBot look at KITT from Knight Rider, I reckon I'll just leave that page to the bot though. It won't do any harm.
I added the names of all the Managing Directors of VII.
The references to Frank Evers on the VII Photo Agency page are clearly self promotional.
There is no published evidence or no published references that suggest the agency prospered or expanded its business substantially under his tenure. Fact
VII should not be referred to as a Collective, it is an LLC and owned by its shareholders, the photographers. Fact
Evers left by mutual consent - he did not leave to launch his new agency, that came more than a year later. He left in May 2008 and the Insititute for Artists Management was launched during the summer of 2009. Fact
From my records, the only edit I can find that I reverted of yours is because you removed information from an article but didn't state WHY you removed the information in your edit summary. It was reverted purely for that reason --5 albert square (talk) 22:51, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Your recent edit of the Bread article shows that you corrupted the Gothic characters in it. Be aware of this potential problem in your future edits. My (extremely limited and anecdotal) research on this issue indicates that it could be a problem with either Twinkle or with the MediaWiki reversion mechanism. Hi, sorry, as I don't have a clue what the gothic characters do or don't do in the article, or even why they're there, I assumed the question mark things were supposed to be there. But as it was, I don't think it was me, Twinkle or Huggle that caused it. In case it was an issue with Twinkle or Huggle that I needed to report, I looked back on the article. From what I can see that appears to be old vandalism that occured to the article, if you look back it seems to have occured around February 10th --5 albert square (talk) 21:01, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Vandalism, what vandalism?
Why are you reverting my edits and saying that they are vandalism. First, Im changing the date of birth as it is wrong. And the other edit is changing the year active from 2005 back to 2000, which is what it was originally and is the correct yearDrumnbass100 (talk) 23:17, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
They were reverted because changes like that must be referenced on Wikipedia. I can think of 4 references off the top of my head that I provided to back up her date of birth. Two of them were history pages, one was a birthday website and one belonged to UKTV. I got loads of hits when I googled Lorna Fitzgerald born March yet got none when I googled Lorna Fitzgerald born April. You didn't provide any reference to back up your claim she was born in April, nor did you provide any reference to state that she was active from 2000 instead of 2005. That is why your edits were reverted. I hope this makes things clearer --5 albert square (talk) 23:38, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, thanks for reverting those changes the above user did. I've already put up three warnings on his user talk, respective of the three vandalisms he made. Once again, thanks!--EcstacyXtcy301:32, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that the edits you were reinstating that had been removed as 'vandalism' look like unsourced POV (possibly with significant BLP issues as well). I have reverted you to the anon's version and removed your warnings from the anon's talk page. If you wish to reinstate those edits, please find a reliable source for that information. Cheers. Syrthiss (talk) 13:48, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I was about to go in and remove the information that I accidentally left in in the edit but you beat me to it. However do you have anything to reference that Sean Robbins left the band because of his addictions and that Mike Poggione is his replacement? I was reverting it because that is unsourced and I can't find anything to back it up but it's been left in in your edit. --5 albert square (talk) 14:00, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You previously threatened User:Justinehunt for maliciously deleting the references tag on Mark Montano. Please check the history, I replaced said tag, plus the legitimate references to the article. He has deleted them twice in the last few minutes. Yes, some of the content that other users have tried to insert into the article is potentially libelous, the portions I am trying to reference are just notations of the fact he has a TV show and has written books, which are legitimate references to establish notability.Trackinfo (talk) 03:12, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry but you have 100% lost me.
I reverted this edit of Justinehunts. The reason I reverted it is because they deleted the tag. Without this tag you get the following displaying at the bottom of the article
"Cite error: There are < r ef > tags on this page, but the references will not show without a :< references /> tag."
In order for you to delete all references from the article you can delete the references tag but in order to stop that message appearing you must also delete each individual reference. That said if you did that, in this case the article would then fall foul of being an unreferenced BLP and sooner or later someone would tag it for that.
The same user also kept deleting the date of birth but refused to say why this was being deleted in the edit summary despite being asked to do this. If they didn't understand the warnings then all they needed to do was ask and someone would've explained them.
Continued unexplained removal of content is seen as vandalism. The page being constantly asked to display an error message and continual removal of the date of birth without explanation was seen as vandalism and was reported. The admin that saw the report obviously agreed as Justine was then blocked.
You've completely lost me though when you mention about libelous information. If there is libelous information in this article then please delete this immediately. I only reverted removal of the date of birth and the references tag, nothing to do with libel? --5 albert square (talk) 20:46, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If this is an ongoing issue, may I suggest WP:ANI as a more appropriate venue to get it addressed. However, as far as I can see, it looks like simple vandalism and the vandal has been blocked. Please do correct me (us) if I've missed something. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:18, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
HJ, are you stalking my talk page again? :p
No you ain't missed anything :) that's exactly what I took the edits as being, nothing more than vandalism.
Trackinfo, you can take it to WP:ANI if this is an ongoing issue though
Guilty as charged! No, I hadn't heard about that. I don't read the Aussie papers, though for some reason I read some of the European and American ones, mainly when I'm hovering around WP:ITN/C and looking for something to nominate. If the vandal's been blocked, btw, it should be a non-issue. I can't see anything that requires further attention.
While I'm here, could you run your AWB over Lindsay Lohan for me? I've been helping another editor revamp the article and I might nominate her for GA when we've finished. Btw, when did you overtake my edit count? I'm not happy about that! >:( haha, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:03, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry about that too much- there's a dab link checker I can run it through before GAN, but I'd appreciate it if you could find any fiddly errors with AWB. I can't be bothered to check the formatting of 181 refs, for example, when AWB can do it. I might ask for it, actually, How easy is it to use? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:54, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've requested it already, depending on how busy the poor bot is it should be along shortly to check the links. I will get around to them someday :) --5 albert square (talk) 22:59, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
