Lord Middleton  United Kingdom The ship, which had been captured by the privateer Le Courier de la Manche ( France) on 3 February, was recaptured by HMS Strenuous ( Royal Navy) off the Channel Islands. No further trace, presumed foundered in the English Channel with the loss of all hands.[33]
