:{{re|ToBeFree}} I've read the conflict of interest section. I work for Amazon and live in Seattle and the page is not related to me, my friends, employers or competitors and neither do I have any connections to the editors of the page nor am I being paid to edit the page. I made a few changes in the past when there was announcement in the news about the change of name of Samsung India research centers. Since the page was on my watchlist, I was notified of the deletion notice. -- [[User:Robertsatya|robertsatya]] ([[User talk:Robertsatya#top|talk]]) 18:33, 26 May 2020 (UTC) |

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:
|
WikiProject Software to do list
- The following topics are missing an article; calling all enthusiasts to start these articles urgently. [Read the Talk page]
- Gordian Knot (software), AutoGK, a bit obsolete, but still worth an article, or two (see also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BeSweet)
- Topaz Labs (software), photo editing software in the same vein as Photoshop or NIK software. The company has expanded and is used by many various fine art and photography professionals. www.topazlabs.com. Deserves an article.
- (please feel free to add more)
- The following articles need some updating and cleanup (please feel free to add more):
- BlueSpice for MediaWiki
- Cabri Geometry, article too short but of significant importance
- Defraggler
- EmEditor, needs notability references, and general improvements
- Ext4
- Flowtracer
- Google File System, tagged with {{Expert-subject|Software|date=November 2008}}
- Home Assistant (seems to be consensus that this needs cleanup from uninvolved editors after its 2nd AfD, as of 2021-04-02)
- Hypervisor, the PCs and desktop systems section needs attention
- Jv16 powertools [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
- KVIrc
- Light (web browser), just created, it's decently written but still really short, and it's not part of this project yet
- mdadm, mostly non-encyclopedic content (HOWTO/manual)
- Micro Transport Protocol, widely used since uTorrent 2.0 released
- Ntfsprogs
- Norton 360
- Recuva
- Presentation Manager, requesting screenshot of GUI, also needs references
- Program Information File
- Software as a service
- Windows library files
- XNUMBERS
- Zamzar
- Zero Install, a bit confusing article, needs to be explained more clearly
- Autodesk Media and Entertainment, major content deletion happened for cleanup on 17 March 2008 (11,000K to 2,000K), and now it's so outdated & stub-like it needs a total rebuild
- List of web application frameworks, go through the articles of listed frameworks and nominate for deletion the non-notable ones, clean the list from non-notable ones, clean Template:Application frameworks
- Aviary (application suite) Needs major updating, referencing, and clean up.
- Scrumban article reads like a sales brochure and I don't have the subject knowledge to fix it.
- The following page lists articles that need expert attention from WikiProject Software and have been tagged by {{Expert-subject|Software}}:

Changes related to National Insititutes of Technology (NITs)
Hello Harsha! Thanks for dropping the message on my talk page. I do appreciate your interest regarding to the changes I've made. Allow me to explain you in order to satisfy your reasonable concerns.
The reason I've added names of the cities/places where the respective institutes are located is because I wanted to make all 30 NITs page titles look alike. Most NITs have already had the location tugged next to it (i.e. NIT Delhi, NIT Kurukshetra etc.) it's much easier to search particular institute if the location is added to it's name and it's also helpful to avoid disambiguation.
Another change you've mentioned about removing the commas, well I've removed it because I've seen almost every Wikipedia page of all the institutions like IITs, IIMs, etc. Without having a comma added to its page title. If you look at all the 16 IITs, 13 IIMs and 7 AIIMSs you'll find no comma between the name of institution and it's location (I.e. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Management Shillong, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal etc.) So I removed commas to make it look all institutes uniformed, well orderded and much alike. If the comma is necessary to add then every single IIT, IIM and AIIMS should have it too. I've changed the titles of NITs pages to match the Wikipedia title naming convention that is generally used with other pages/articles. I hope you'll understand it now. Thanks! :)

Hi Robertsatya,
do you have any connection to Samsung R&D Institute India, Noida or the editors of that page?

Conflict of interest
Hello, Robertsatya. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 09:25, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
