Tools

Wikipedia:Tools is a good place to look for new tools. (Remember that link is not an exhaustive list of tools). If you have an idea in mind you can also request a toool based on your idea at WP:VP or if there is something already existing, folks will point you to that tool. --DBigXray 11:04, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks mate! I'd check it out and see what tools can be used for better editing experience.--Deepak G Goswami (talk) 04:42, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks DBigXray! I have lot to learn here and users like you make the process little easy. I am planning to nominate Special Area Games Scheme for Good Article once anyone accepts my copyediting request and after the successful GA nomination I'd like to further proceed with the Featured Article nomination. Would you like to contribute and co-nominate the article with me? --Deepak G Goswami (talk) 06:49, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for inviting me to collaborate here, I will be glad to get this to GA/FA. The article is very promising indeed. WP:GOCE can help with the copy editing, but it should be asked only when you have added all you wanted to add into the article. if there are sources you know that can be used to expand the article please post them on the talk page. we can then add material into the article. once done, a GOCE can be requested. --DBigXray 10:59, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DBigXray: I am glad you feel positive about it. Let's wait for it to pass the DYK review first and then we can work on it. I have tried to add most of the information but I believe there can be some available which I have missed. Meanwhile can you do some research about the topic? It's an interesting topic I can assure you. Regards--Deepak G Goswami (talk) 04:46, 6 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Special Area Games Scheme

congrats, the article is now closer to GA. Is there anything more to add ? can you create a checklist based on your understanding of the topic and stuff that needs to be done before we proceed for a GA nom. I am unable to find good sources for the topic. If you already have good sources identified, you can list it out on that checklist (or talk page) and we can take it from there. --DBigXray 06:59, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, after the copy-editing the article seems to be much closer to pass GAC. I'd again take a comprehensive look on the subject and would prepare a checklist if one is required. Give me 2 days for that.--Deepak G Goswami (talk) 13:55, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DBigXray: I have started a to-do list here User:Deepak G Goswami/sandbox. Finding sources for the topic would require some efforts as in India sports research doesn't fancy many.--Deepak G Goswami (talk) 14:09, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
