Kate Alexandra Dearden is a British Labour and Co-operative politician who has served as Member of Parliament for Halifax since 2024.[2]

Dearden is a trade unionist.[3] She attempted to stand in the 2022 Wakefield by-election but was not selected.[4]

Kate Dearden was appointed Assistant Whip, House of Commons on 18 July 2024.[5]
