WikiProject Connecticut AUTUMN Photo Contest
Congratulations to Grondemar for winning the Summer Photo Contest! But as you probably know, many articles still have no pictures whatsoever! Therefore, I again challenge my fellow Nutmeggers to the contest: who can add the most images to the Wikiproject? C'mon folks, you probably have a digital camera on your phone anyway!
Rules:
- You must take the picture yourself, adding public domain pictures (ie: postcards from pre-1923 that are on a website) will NOT count. The picture cannot already exist on Wikipedia, in Commons, etc.
- The picture must be of something notable for a CT rated article and be of decent quality.
- You may not add more than 5 pictures to any one article during the contest.
- All photos must be uploaded and added to their articles. If it wasn't added to the article and titled, it doesn't count.
- All submissions must be made after 12:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST) on September 15th, 2010 and no later than 23:59 UTC (7:59 PM EST) on October 31st, 2010.

Connecticut seals & flags project
As some of you might have noticed, I've spent some time uploading town seals onto the various town pages. However, there are some which I cannot seem to find. Any help in this matter is appreciated.
Missing town seals
- Fairfield County: (1) Sherman, Connecticut.
- Hartford County: (1) Hartland, Connecticut.
- Litchfield County: (4) Colebrook, Connecticut, Cornwall, Connecticut, Harwinton, Connecticut, & Sharon, Connecticut.
- Middlesex County: (1) Middlefield, Connecticut.
- Tolland County: (3) Andover, Connecticut, Stafford, Connecticut & Union, Connecticut.
- Windham County: (4) Ashford, Connecticut, Hampton, Connecticut, Scotland, Connecticut, & Sterling, Connecticut.
Both New London & New Haven counties are done.
- Additionally, some seals (ie: Bridgeport, Connecticut & Stamford, Connecticut) were uploaded to commons and I can't find a way to tag them for the Wikiproject. Does anyone know how to remediate this?
Town flags
- Currently we have all of 12 town and 1 borough flag in the Category:Flags of Connecticut. As with the seals, any and all help is appreciated! Markvs88 (talk) 19:04, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Towns known to not have flags [1]:
- Fairfield County: (7) Brookfield, Monroe, New Canaan, Newtown, Ridgefield, Shelton, & Wilton.
- Hartford County: (7) Berlin, Canton, Farmington, Newington, Suffield, South Windsor, & Windsor.
- Litchfield County: (1) Plymouth.
- Middlesex County: (1) Cromwell.
- New Haven County: (4) Branford, Guilford, North Branford, & Southbury.

WikiProject Connecticut uses Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Connecticut to monitor all Connecticut articles needing images. The "imageneeded=" and "in=" parameters of {{WikiProject Connecticut}} populate the category.
- To request an image for an article, use the "imageneeded=yes" parameter in the {{WikiProject Connecticut}} article talk page template. Please use the "in=" parameter in the {{WikiProject Connecticut}} template to specify the Connecticut county where the photograph may be taken. Up to three locations may be specified, such as {{WikiProject Connecticut|class=Start|importance=Low|imageneeded=yes|in=Litchfield County, Connecticut|in2=London|in3=New Haven County, Connecticut|unref=yes}}
- If you need to specify four or more locations (such as a road passing through multiple Connecticut counties), use {{reqphoto}} and its multiple "in=" parameters.
