Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

OK, I'll take a look at it and see what to do. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 19:18, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK. The simplest thing to do was to add another entry, number 10 on the list - the template won't accept fewer than ten entries. I took the liberty of creating {{Largest cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa}}, using information I got here. It's the same information you put in the article, basically, but now that it's in template form it's easier to link it into other articles. It was a quick fix - please take a look and make sure that I've used the correct information. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 20:34, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lower Dir District, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Munda and Talash. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Stub tags

You added {{stub}} to Popple Creek, Minnesota. Please note:

  1. It already had a specific stub tag so this plain stub should not have been added.
  2. All stub tags go at the end of an arrticle, not the start.
  3. Stub tags do not take a date parameter.

There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it is an intetesting journey. PamD 23:22, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.trackingterrorism.org/group/jamaat-ul-ahrar-jamatul-ahrar.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Operation Zarb-e-Azb

Thanks for the barnstar, but regarding this the US government is not involved in this specific Pakistani operation. The CIA drone program is a separate secret mission that began years ago. I'm going to have this removed unless you provide a reliable source that specifically states that the CIA is directly involved in this operation. You should know that Pakistan (especially its military) is very much against any US drone strike on its territory.--Krzyhorse22 (talk) 10:19, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. TheSawTooth (talk) 20:50, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Operaation Zarb-e-Azb. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Faizan 11:10, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Naghma is well known in the Pashtun world, not only in Afghanistan but Pakistan as well since her husband is pakistani. Janghair khan is not well known among pashtuns my friend. Salman Khan and Sharukh khan may have pashtun ancestry but that is only partial and their mothers were indian, therefore they cannot be put into that list since this is about Pashtuns who have parents that are both pashtun.

Actually it does, nobody in the world would see salman khan or sbarukh khan has pashutn let alone janghair khan. You only add pashtuns from pakistan who are mostly athletes or singers but leave out actual important people. I will remove your edit since its agains't the rules to edit somebody else's work over it. Good day.

Replaceable fair use File:Ayan Qureshi MCP.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Ayan Qureshi MCP.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 18:57, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a life? why are you follwing me and checking my edits?

Kader Khan

Regarding this, why do you ignore my findings? He said it that he was born in 1952. [1] That link you provided is information written by someone who likely relied on an earlier version of his article in Wikipedia. That's what many unpopular news editors do.--Krzyhorse22 (talk) 16:49, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pashtuns

Regarding this edit, I think Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan should not appear in the image box because although they have Pashtun connection they're not classified as such. Salman Khan's father qualifies and he's already included. Also, Jahangir Khan is appearing in the sports section at the bottom. Having 2 or more images of the same person in the same article raises controversial issues and leads to edit wars. Does he identify self as Pashtun? Being a world champion in the sport of squash is not such a big deal as that sport is not that popular. There are around 50 million Pashtuns around the world so the image box should have more notable people and regardless of nationality.--Krzyhorse22 (talk) 19:22, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think what you are trying to say is that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman khan should not appear is because there mother are not pashtun? Well Pashtun societies (also muslims) are patriarchal where the descent and inheritance is in the male line; therefore it would make sense to include them and are considered pashtun.

Some societies such as jewish are matriarchal where descent and relationship are determined through the female line. Btw I removed Akbar Khan since he is not that prominent as compared to the other afghan kings shown (to shorten the gallery). Also removed Jhangir Khan (he is pashtun) and mohammad nabi (he doesnt seem to have a very good cricket career statistics) and added Abdul Ahad Mohmand. Saadkhan12345 (talk) 21:17, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I know but Shah Rukh Khan is already in the modern era section and we should try not adding father and son as is the case of Salim Khan and Salman Khan, the father is a better choice (doesn't matter how he looks in pic, it's who he is that matters). I object to removing Akbar Khan, he defeated the powerful British and Sikhs. That's quite an accomplishment. It made headlines in the world in his time. I think instead of removing him we should remove Mahmud Hotaki (another father and son case, plus he was invader, a warlord and has massacred people simply because they were Shias and not to mention that's not his real pic but a make-believe sketch work). I only added Mohammad Nabi to replace the other guy.--Krzyhorse22 (talk) 22:07, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
yea your right...I overlooked akbar khan. Ill add him back and but cant remove mahmud hotaki, even though he prbbly did massacre people but he became king of persia which is a very important in history and so ill instead remove salim khan. Salman is way more famous than him so let him stay. Saadkhan12345 (talk) 06:20, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I guess you're right about Mahmud Hotaki, he also helped put an ultimate end to the forced spread of Shiaism. That is a major contribution to the history of Islam. Regarding Salim Khan, he's more notable and more connected to Pashtuns, all his children and relatives are famous people, and he also acted in films. Read Salim-Javed Salman may be more famous today but his father is a better choice for the image box, when people click on his name they can see that he is the father of many famous Bollywood actors, not only Salman's.--Krzyhorse22 (talk) 16:49, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Abdul Ahad Mohmand.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Abdul Ahad Mohmand.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 19:57, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Constituency articles

Hi, I've noticed your creation of constituency articles and your request for autopatrolled rights. Could you make a pause in the creations please ? There are a few issues. I'll let you know in a next comment. Cenarium (talk) 17:09, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Okay sir...thanks for letting me know. Saadkhan12345 (talk) 17:10, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Take a look at WP:YFA. It's much better to add a category to a new article, for example put it in Category:Constituencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or whatever is appropriate. A stub template such as {{Pakistan-constituency-stub}} is also recommended. You may take a look at Constituency PK-51 (Haripur-III) for ideas. This allows the article to be connected with the rest of the encyclopedia, otherwise it gets lost. Cenarium (talk) 17:19, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hey thanks for reminding...I was going to do that. I have relevant categories saved with me on Microscoft word. Its just easier to make them first and thn come back on them and add categories, stub, wikiprojects, portals etc...Can please check on the auto patrol rights. It'll seriously reduce the burden on new pages pat-rollers. Saadkhan12345 (talk) 17:23, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't mind my interjecting, I've been observing your page creation while watching Special:Newpages as well. It is better, generally, to add the categories as the article has been created, but I can help out in this instance by using AutoWikiBrowser to make the job easier. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 17:25, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Sir Amantio. If you want to add categories etc thn here are the following:

[[Category:Constituencies of Punjab, Pakistan (this category is for PPconstituencies only ) [[Category:Constituencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (For PKconstituencies only)

  • Also

[[Category:National Assembly of Pakistan] [[Category:Politics of Pakistan] [[Category:Pakistani election stubs]

  • For stub:

{{Pakistan-election-stub}

  • For template (PK constituencies only)

{{Constituencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly |state=collapsed} You can do as much as you like. Ill do the rest.Saadkhan12345 (talk) 17:34, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Constituencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is done, except for the templates. (I can do those later.) I'm working on Punjab now. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 17:43, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
My gosh!!! i just checked lol that was quick. Saadkhan12345 (talk) 17:44, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, AWB is great for a lot of quick editing. Punjab is categorized - I have to leave for a little while, but I'll come back and fix the stub tags later. Should be a fairly quick fix. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 17:58, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yea it is...I heard about it but never used it and so its scary lol Saadkhan12345 (talk) 18:00, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It can be very useful. You're not supposed to use it for article creation, but it's very helpful when doing large numbers of edits. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 18:56, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sure - at least the bottom templates should be pretty easy to do. I'll do that next on my list. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 21:00, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Empty Sections

Hi, I have been reviewing your recent created pages of Pakistani electoral districts. I would like to point out that they generally contain several empty sections, and do not have a lot of information. As such, could you please stop adding empty sections? Merci beaucoup! Constituency

Owais Khursheed (talk · contribs) has expressed concern about these constituency stubs. Unless you have substantial information to flesh each one out to a decent article, then do not create it. "Substantial information" does not include names of the candidates which is just listcruft and we absolutely do not shout names. Please seek community consensus and the approval of Owais Kursheed before you create any more. The most recent five that you did are now at User:Saadkhan12345/constituency. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:32, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey RHaworth...thanks for the message. These articles are indeed a stub. Ser Amantio di Nicolao (talk · contribs) fixed them up adding categories stub etc. Its called working together. If owais khursheed has free time he can help out. Regarding "substantial information" you can check the following NA constituencies (created way before these)...they all have the same info. With respect sir, I do not think I need his consensus to add a notable subject to Wikipedia (in this case Electoral district. And also I'm currently working on them and trying to improve them.

Dir Region or District

Dear saad thnx for suggestion but my friend, actually the Dir is Region since 1700 C.E and it became District in 1970 .the actual Dir region includes many areas which are now a part of other districts, I mean to say that Dir district don't represent the actual and entire Dir Region therefore i created another page on dir region. And I think the Dir District should be redirected to Dir Region because this article includes all information i.e. how its became a state and later a district and then divide into two districts. --عثمان خان شاہ (talk) 21:50, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Operation Zarb-e-Azb shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I looked through to see if there was a solid version to revert to but I really couldn't tell. I think it is best to leave it for now. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 21:14, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
