SAB TV, or Sony Sab, is an Indian television entertainment channel specializing in family events. Launched in 1999, it is part of the network of television channels owned by Sony Pictures Networks India Pvt. Ltd. (SPNI). SAB TV HD launched on Monday 5 September 2016 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.[1][2] This network was carried by Yes Boss which ran for over 10 years on SAB TV.

Programming

This channel has gone through many genres of shows such as comedy, drama, romance, silent comedy, sitcom, science fiction, and stand up comedy.

Taarak Metha Ka Ooltah Chashmah- One of the longest running comedy shows is based on the hilarious conflicts between families who live in Gokuldham Society together.

Trideviyaan- Drama thriller showcasing the story of three agents - Dhanu, Tanu, and Manu who are sister in laws and who also run the household but have a hard time hiding their identities.

Dil Deke Dekho- Romantic comedy sitcom showcasing the hilarious romance between the two families the Chopras and the Shastris who have completely different lifestyles

Icchapyaari Naagin- Romantic fantasy drama showcasing the love story of Iccha a shape shifting snake and Babbal a human and the problems they face due to their different species

YARO Ka Tashan- Comedy show that explores the misadventures of YARO a humanoid robot and his friends Amar, Prem, and Dolly

Chidiya Ghar- Comedy sitcom showcasing the lives of residents in Chidiya Ghar
