I saw that you had an edit on Kosovo. I am currently Kosovo topic banned, thus I would like you to use extreme care in dealing with the topic. It's how I got my first block in Wikipedia. Good luck! --Sulmues Let's talk 20:54, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Skanderbeg's Italian expedition

On 18 May, you tagged Skanderbeg's Italian expedition with {{rfd}}, but you did not complete the nomination by listing it at WP:RFD. Can you please complete the second step of the nomination per the instructions at the WP:RFD page? If you do not list it within a reasonable amount of time, I'll assume you no longer wish to see it deleted and will remove the template. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 13:11, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for support

Hi, thanks for the support on the AfD for Breanne Benson. I was allowed to get the article userficated to be able to update it until it can be proved that the notability of the actress matches the current guidelins for the english Wikipedia. I asked for this because I at least expect a nomination for an award with the next months. The actress already has an entry in the Albanian Wikipedia:

http://sq.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breanne_Benson

As you mentioned she seems to be the only "more known" pornographic actess of Albanian origin, so that might be notable enough to keep her there. But her current entry is only a stub as you see and the picture is very likely not free. Maybe you can translate the article here and/or use its pictures as I was able to get them under cc-by-sa. You can find the userficated english version here: User:Testales/Breanne Benson Testales (talk) 12:44, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Paj zotin mos u merr me pornace, ne kemi 3/4 e herojve kombetare, qe kane dhene jeten per atdheun qe s'kane artikull, ti i jep voten "Brianes". Shyqyr qe hiku. Puna eshte se te vjen maraz me projektin shqiptar, i cili vetem sa perkthen nga anglishtja. --Sulmues Let's talk 23:54, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately "Mr. Pornace" does not speak Albanian, so he would prefer to get english replies to his comments and that preferably in a civilized way. Testales (talk) 00:37, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lol, Vinie is Albanian and speaks it very well, Mr. Testales. It's your translation that is way off target. --Sulmues Let's talk 00:59, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I do not think that the part "Well do not get with Mr. pornace, we have three quarters of national heros, who gave their lives for the country who have no article" is such a bad translation and that Vinie is Albanian is obvious, that's even why I wrote here. So no point here for intentional misinterpretation of what I wrote.Testales (talk) 09:22, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The first part of your translation is incorrect, it should be translated into "Don't waiste your time with pornstars", "pornace" is slang for "pornstar" and you won't find it in any dictionary. I never mentioned you, if that's what you need to know. --Sulmues Let's talk 09:36, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Une mendoj qe shqiptaret nese duan te kuptojne se ku duhet te jete futbolli, duhet te kene nje ide te qarte per ku kane qene, dhe artikulli e pasqyron shume mire historine. On Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity Committed in Albania during the Communist Regime for Political, Ideological and Religious Motives

An editor has proposed renaming this article. His original choice was "Albanian genocide law". However I oppose any change of name because no reliable sources provide a short form for the law and there is another law on "Genocide" under the Albanian criminal code,[2] while this law has been repealed. Please comment at the article's talk page. TFD (talk) 00:25, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Balli Kombëtar.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Balli Kombëtar.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vanjagenije (talk) 20:34, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vinie, it is a start class. The difference is in referencing and size. You have the size but you have no references. At least each paragraph should have a reference for B class, for Good Article each sentence should have a reference. Please see Vangjel Meksi. It has a reference on each sentence. I have doubts that Meksi will be an easy GA, and still I really worked hard at it. It's just a question of references, you should use Modzilla firefox and enter references more easily.--Sulmues (talk) 13:32, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you enter references on each paragraph at least it's a B. And then let's see if GA will need refs on each sentence or something like that. The book doesn't need to be inline. If it makes sense and if some quotes are provided, good faith will be assumed for every editor in good standing. For the rest, it's all good. --Sulmues (talk) 13:38, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Po ti ku e gjete informacionin? --Sulmues (talk) 13:45, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I ke cituar ata dy libra? Nese jane offline, s'ka problem WP:AGF. --Sulmues (talk) 12:11, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nese kemi mbi 15K, atehere normalisht do e cojme ne GA. --Sulmues (talk) 12:51, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think that this must be rated higher than start-class? --Vinie007 03:05, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
KF Tirana is still a start class. I call a C class when EVERY paragraph has at least one reference. On biographies: Please feel free to copy exactly from the book and send it to me (either in talk page or email), and I'll rewrite it: I'll assume that you have given me the exact copy. I'll also properly reference. --Sulmues (talk) 15:30, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nese e shkruan komplet shqip, thjesht e kopjon, une e perkthej dhe e referencoj. Vetem me thuaj numrat e faqeve. Nese do qe te skanosh librin, skanoje komplet dhe ma dergo me email. E shkruaj une gjithe artikullin. --Sulmues (talk) 15:36, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Eshte shume kollaj. --Sulmues (talk) 11:17, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Better not bother them, but reference safely from them. IMO it's a very good and reliable source. And take refreences from Wikipedia out: Wikipedia can't be used for referencing. In addition use citeweb, I started a couple.--Sulmues (talk) 16:34, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine, enter only refs, and I'll put them in templates later, but enter page numbers, otherwise I can't help much. --Sulmues (talk) 16:47, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also Pdfs. --Sulmues (talk) 16:51, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lexo mire Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources--Sulmues (talk) 16:58, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cirku

Pune e mire. Do e besh Tirana Circus? Ja source [3]. Po deshe burim edhe per Estrada of Tirana, fillo me kete [4] Beje DYK-in tend te pare se te ndihmoj edhe une. Edhe nje gje tjeter: E do statusin e autoreviewer? Te aplikoj per ty? --Sulmues (talk) 13:10, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tiranen do e cojme ne GA kur te jemi te sigurt qe do e kaloje. Tani per tani ti mund te punosh me kompletimin e landmarks, kurse une do bej nje cike eksperience me Gjirokastren per GA. Qytetet jane te veshtira per GA, do shume pune, po do mesoj nga Gjirokastra dhe pastaj ate eksperience do e perdorim per Tiranen. --Sulmues (talk) 13:25, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I applied for autoreviewer for you. I believe it might be granted, but if it's not, no big deal, we'll apply again, when you'll have some more articles. In the meantime good luck with Tirana's landmarks! --Sulmues (talk) 13:42, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
U refuzua tani per tani, po normalisht kur te kesh nje numer 65+ artikujsh dhe me cilesi me te larte (referenca) do te aprovohesh. Nuk ka problem, autoreviewer status zakonisht merret kur ke nje cike me shume eksperience. Reviewer eshte me veshtire se autopatrolled, nese te refuzojne autopatrolling status, reviewer status nuk jepet normalisht. --Sulmues (talk) 17:06, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Edhe ajo do shume pune per GA. Ka shume pjese te pareferencuara. Nuk jam i pergatitur per te. Ne pergjithesi nje gjuhe do specialiste per GA status.--Sulmues (talk) 17:43, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Brenda 5 ditesh nga krijimi duhet te kesh 1500 karaktere duke mos perfshire referenca apo infobokse. Perdor kete. [5]. Tani per tani eshte ne 541 shkronja, duhet gati trefishuar. Kemi kohe deri me date 8 (u fillua me date 3), do ndihmoj edhe une, po kete fundjave eshte nje cike veshtire. --Sulmues (talk) 17:34, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok e mbarova dhe e cova ne DYK: Kohet e fundit ngaqe shkojne kushedi sesa artikuj ne DYK, kane filluar te dalin mbas nja dy javesh, so hold on tight and you'll get your first DYK.

Pune e mire, sit tight, and the DYK is upcoming. Keep up the good work.--Sulmues (talk) 14:14, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I won't take any more credit for that one, I think you should self-nominate, as by now you are on your way to becoming a DYK specialist, but be careful: the list might be removed and not count: it'll depend on the will of the reviewing editor. --Sulmues (talk) 14:14, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There ya go. It looks like you like travel related stuff, have you thought about working on Albania's Wikitravel entry? As for the train... one thought - there ought to be an article explaining "vullnetar" of the Albanian Communist persuasion. When the word volunteers is used like this in an article it gives the impression of citizens freely offering labor, which runs counter to every explanation of "vullnetar" I've ever heard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spyenson (talkcontribs) 21:18, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK nomination of Citypark Albania

Hello! Your submission of Citypark Albania at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! TodorBozhinov 08:26, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but there are now some issues with the article's quality. It feels very much like an advertisement that promotes the mall, with biased words and typical advertising vocabulary. Try to make it more neutral and based on facts rather than boasts, i.e. get rid of wording like "only 12km", "set to become a major attraction" and so on. And get rid of the quote in "International relations", it simply has no purpose in the article in my opinion, at least in this format. The quote should not normally count for DYK's article length requirement, but without it's still ~1700 characters, which is good enough :)
Also, try to have every fact in the article properly referenced and backed with a footnote. At the moment, "International relations", "Background" and "Other services" have no refs at all, which is a big problem.
Finally, a purely DYK issue. In the article lead, you say "it will have some 170 shops". In the DYK hook, the wording is "with its 170 shops is the biggest". Are the shops there and working already? Which of the two is correct? Don't forget to place a footnote directly after the 170 shops sentence, it's another DYK requirement.
In terms of DYK requirements, the date and length are all good, but you have some work to do with the referencing and the article's quality.
Keep me posted and I'll try to assist you in improving the article. I admire your dedication and I'm perfectly convinced you can get the article to DYK :) Best, TodorBozhinov 13:18, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK great. Well I think I'll do a short stubbing session shortly and blue link a few from any of the templates. Then you can take your pick! Also Sulmues is drawing up the template for the 201 cultural monuments of Albania which need starting. Dr. Blofeld 13:25, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't look like Sulmues is here. Feel free to edit it. Dr. Blofeld 15:11, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK I've started the cultural monuments, see Template:Cultural Monuments of Albania very stubby though. However there is ton which haven't been dabbed and by accident I think I removed about 3 or 4. I can't do anything further now until these pages are moved into the english titles and dabbed to start the others. There is no point in dabbing in Albanian like I've done for a few if the pages are under the english names. Its a bit of a mess at the moment but with some project coordination here we can sort them out and also added categories like Mosques in Albania etc. Stage 2 now the pages all need moving into english, chanigng to the english titles in the template and any outstanding dabbing needs to be done. Some of them have about 5 or 6 under the same name! Eventually I hope we have 201 articles on these with a bit of info... Dr. Blofeld 21:58, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding this edit of yours [6], it is my general impression that Greater Albania has very limited appeal among Albanians in general, and only the nationalists support it. But hey, I could be wrong. Athenean (talk) 06:15, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, List of Albanian Grand Viziers

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, List of Albanian Grand Viziers. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of Ottoman Grand Viziers. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of Ottoman Grand Viziers - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — ZjarriRrethues — talk 13:20, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tirana County

Agreed it needs a lot of work and should be expanded. The problem though is finding info about the county itself rather than just Tirana. I can make a start on it in a day or two using Tirana history info. You'll need to find more sources though for the wider county.Dr. Blofeld 14:22, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

Brez

Stipcevic doesn't say anywhere that the Brez derives from anything "Illyrian". In fact the brez is not even mentioned anywhere in his book [8]. So what you are doing is called source falsification. You are using a source to claim something that is not in that source. And calling my edits vandalism on top of that. Not a good idea. Athenean (talk) 21:39, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK nomination for Gazeta 55

Hello! Your submission of Gazeta 55 at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! J04n(talk page) 01:41, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I don't think this article is ready for DYK yet. It's not the characters, which actually I think are over 1500. The problem is the structure and the referencing. The body of the article is almost not referenced, and the lede is over referenced, for which there is no need. The hook is not fully cited, but has just a "Mediat shqiptare", which is unacceptable for a reference: it should have title and author: we'll accept your good faith if it is not inline, but we'll accept it once that you take responsibility for having read something about the hook from a reliable source and have cited that source with a title, author and year of publication. IMO you should also break the bulleting into whole and fluent paragraphs, the current form is just too business style, then reference at least each paragraph, and eventually work on referencing better the hook. If you can't reference that hook, find another hook. --Sulmues (talk) 19:23, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Skanderbeg

Sorry for reverting you at Skanderbeg. That review is a joke, the reviewer is either a sock or a non-experienced wikipedian. The images are Ok, it's the referencing that is not one of the highest, and truly even if Euzen brings it to GA, IMO right now it's very far from that. For this kind of article I would expect around 300 references, right now we're at about 90, so it's on the references that I'm working. We now have a good base of sources though, I've been working on it a lot. With the Harvard citation we'll do something similar to Cplakidas' Byzantine Navy. Many references have no pages so that's the true problem to send it to GA. Once that we're ok with the referencing we can reword and make it ready for GA and right after that we're going to apply for FA, but for now we're far. --Sulmues (talk) 17:28, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article you just created is almost entirely copied from here or here. --Local hero talk 20:21, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the article should be expanded and I'm glad you're interested in doing that but you should know that you can't just copy an entire page and paste it on the article. I reverted the article back to a redirect to Liburnians#Seafarers. --Local hero talk 20:52, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Rent, or Marathonomak! has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lack of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Frank  |  talk  19:10, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Supreme Court of Albania, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.gjykataelarte.gov.al/english/index.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Basically, I am from India but I enjoy going round covering articles of countries that I like. I hope my contributions are constructive. I have one request. In the current article, while the references are mostly cited at the end (some of them are in Albanian language, which I don't understand) can you fix the relevant reference to each section of the article. Thanks.-- N.V.V. Char Talk . 12:44, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cultural Monuments of Albania

Hi, I disabled the {{Cultural Monuments of Albania}} template because it needs serious maintenance. Since you speak Albanian, you may be able to help. Many of the articles in the template have names that aren't suitable as article titles in English wikipedia. Most readers don't speak Albanian (neither do I), so "Rrënojat e Kishës" doesn't mean much to them. The translation ("church ruins") isn't specific, so we need new titles. I'm working through them, but I stumbled on some that are too difficult for Google Translate, e.g. "Kisha e Shpërfytyrimit", "Kisha e Ungjillizimt", "Xhamia e Telelkave", etc. "Shën Premte" is Saint Paraskevi, right? And would "Saint Saviour" be a good translation for "Shën Sotiri"? Markussep Talk 15:22, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think you may start two articles, one on Koço Danaj, and the other one on Natural Albania, or simply talk about Natural Albania within Greater Albania. --Sulmuesi (talk) 20:13, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And the article you gave me would be this. Mehdi Hyseni is a PhD, however you have to specify the context very well before citing him. --Sulmuesi (talk) 20:17, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
A theory is more threatened by AfD than a party, which is inherently notable. I would suggest to do the party first, and then see if the theory is only shared by the party only or by other political forces and see if you can find sources for that. --Sulmuesi (talk) 20:27, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have closed this debate as delete. Coming on it via the article, I was surprised to find it still unclosed after eight days: the reason turns out to be that you omitted step III in listing it (see WP:AFDHOWTO) so that it was not transcluded into the daily log, and was not seen by anybody scanning that list, or by administrators looking for debates ready to be closed. Since the result is so clear, I have decided that there is no point relisting it for another seven days.

Also, you omitted to inform the article author with {{AfD-notice}} which, though not mandatory is courteous and avoids giving him a possible ground for appeal. I have told him why I deleted the article, and explained why in in my opinion it had no chance. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:20, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bunkers

Sorry but I am not very interested in the bunkers: I want to highlight the positive things of Albania. --Sulmuesi (talk) 13:53, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't want to hide it. I really am sick if I think about it, and personally prefer not to write much about it. And believe me there will be a plethora of non-Albanian users who will rejoice from such an article. I am more worried about highlighting the good things about Hoxha and the communist regime, because to highlight the bad ones will think our dear neighbors. --Sulmuesi (talk) 14:03, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Made some ce, but before I continue can you please make some full citations? Good writing there, you are improving sensibly. It should also go to DYK, as it fullfills x5. --Sulmuesi (talk) 23:30, 20 November 2010 (UTC) And many thanks for the video on Shasi and the other lost cities. Very interesting stuff. --Sulmuesi (talk) 02:53, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Falls of communism should go to DYK, but once that it is properly referenced. The first paragraph points to Remzi Lami, but I know that 9/10ths of it is taken either from somewhere else, or it is the product of your own original research. Now this was fine and dandy in 2006 when wikipedia had articles written mainly from enlightened people like you and I, but now sources are needed to back up any claim, and rightly so, everybody can remove your contributions, because they are unsourced, whereas when they are, a way higher level of protection is generated. The other paragraphs too are not standing by themselves because poorly referenced. When you bring something to DYK, especially after you have worked so much, please make sure to bring at least a couple of references from books especially, or other sources if no books are available, but you should have at least 5 references (that's my ballpark), not a couple, which don't support the article sufficiently. What you want to do is to bring that article in a C status (that's usually the standard to bring a brand new article to DYK, although it's not always the case), so that you can put the basis that with a little work afterward, you can bring it to B status and then to GA. For now I can see a lot of editors craving to fail this article at DYK. It won't survive it. Bottom line, find references for what you are claiming: in general a wikipedian's work should just report what reliable sources say, it shouldn't be very difficult. And I regret that you missed bunkers in Albania too: no problem you'll get plenty of DYKs in the future, but the problems were with referencing there too. --Sulmuesi (talk) 13:20, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted that file as it's not your own work, its a copy of File:Albania Military Forces.png which was uploaded onto Commons 2 years ago by someone else. I will assume that this was a good faith error, but you cannot claim ownership of a file released under CC-BY-SA, you still have to credit the actual creator. I have replaced the file in Military of Albania with the Commons version. If a file is on Wikimedia Commons, you can insert it into a Wikipedia article in the same way that you would a file on wikipedia, ie just by pasting in the file name. You don't need to re-upload it to wikipedia first.--Elen of the Roads (talk) 22:34, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright

I am concerned about the number of copyright infringements you have been committing. Considering that you have received warnings about this at various times since July, by now you must be aware that there is a problem, and should be very careful. I also notice that at least a couple of times you have claimed ownership of files when it has seemed that that is not the case. Editors who repeatedly upload files in violation of copyright or use text copied from elsewhere without proper copyright authority eventually become blocked if they continue after having had the problem pointed out to them. I hope this will not happen in your case, as it would mean that we would lose your valuable contributions, so please do be careful to make sure this problem does not continue.
