Chatsworth Township is located in Livingston County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,366 and it contained 639 housing units.[2]

History

Chatsworth Township changed its name from Olivers Grove Township on October 11, 1859.[citation needed]

Chatsworth Township was named after the Chatsworth House, the country home of the Duke of Devonshire, England.[3]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.03 square miles (93.3 km2), of which 36 square miles (93 km2) (or 99.92%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (or 0.06%) is water.[2]
