Miusynsk (Template:Lang-uk, Template:Lang-ru) is a city in Krasnyi Luch Municipality, Luhansk Oblast (region) of Ukraine. Population: 4,830 (2013 est.)[2].
History
The settlement was founded in 1923 under the name Stergres (Template:Lang-ru)[1].
In 1938 Stergres got the official status of an urban-type settlement[1].
In 1965 the urban-type settlement of Stergres and the village of Novopavlovka were merged, and the city of Miusynsk was established.[1].
Starting Mid-April 2014 Miusynsk was controlled by the Luhansk People's Republic and not by Ukrainian authorities.[3][4]
