Dasna is a town and a nagar panchayat in Ghaziabad district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Geography

Dasna is located at 28°41′N 77°32′E / 28.68°N 77.53°E / 28.68; 77.53.[1] It has an average elevation of 207 metres (679 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Dasna had a population of 24,428. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Dasna has an average literacy rate of 45%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 56% and, female literacy is 32%. In Dasna, 22% of the population is under 6 years of age.
