Dish Flix
Dish Flix is a Push VOD service launched in year 2015 by Dish TV. To avail this service, customers have to buy dishflix hardware that costs ₹5999 and also subscribe to "Flix Studio" add-on that costs ₹100 per month. It comes with 50 preloaded ad-free movies in the hard disk. You can play, pause and fast forward these movies. These movies delete on their expiry dates and new movies are downloaded to replace them. Around 15 movies are refreshed every month that includes Hollywood and Bollywood movies.[7] The service requires the Dish Flix box to be connected to the STB which is either PVR or HD PVR. However, if you have SD STB (PVR), then you will be able to watch only SD movies. Dish flix service does not guarantee a fixed number of SD movies per month. So, SD customers may get 0 to 15 SD movies per month and still pay full subscription fee. Therefore, only HD customers should opt for this service.[8] The service is currently available only for the Indian region.
