Pangasinan Five Star Bus Company, Incorporated, or simply known as Five Star is a bus company in the Philippines, servicing routes mainly in the province of Pangasinan, Central Luzon plains, which includes the provinces of Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bulacan, Pampanga and Cagayan Valley region which includes the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino.[1] The company is a sister company of Victory Liner.

History

Five Star was founded in 1983 in Metro Manila. It started as a city operation firm using ordinary buses. It grew in the 90s, after the closure of Pangasinan Transportation Co., or known as Pantranco North Express Inc.

For passengers en route to Pangasinan and Tarlac, the main stop may either be in Siesta or Travel Gate, both in Tarlac City. Transit passengers are also allowed to disembark at Dau in Mabalacat, Pampanga or in Marquee Mall in Angeles City, Pampanga,On the other hand, for passengers en route to Nueva Ecija, the main stop is at Passengers Delight in San Miguel, Bulacan.

last July 26, 2013 a woman named Mary Rose gave birth while the bus route to Bolinao, Pangasinan and was helped by 2 PNP nurses Mavidette Ongjunco and Arnel Cera who were also boarded the same bus and the bus driver drives to Gilberto Teodoro Memorial Hospital in Camiling, Tarlac

The company also offers bus chartering services to individuals and corporations.

Currently, Five Star is maintaining and utilizing Ankai, Golden Dragon, Higer, Hino, Hyundai, JAC Motors, Kia, King Long, MAN, UD Nissan Diesel, and Yutong buses for its fleet.
