Gray Township is located in White County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,141 and it contained 556 housing units.[1]
History
Gray Township was named for James Gray, founder of Grayville.[2]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 27.39 square miles (70.9 km2), of which 26.94 square miles (69.8 km2) (or 98.36%) is land and 0.45 square miles (1.2 km2) (or 1.64%) is water.[1]
